"Sometimes fire just needs gasoline"

Looking back at the things from the beginning one can see how Arabella, the fifteen years old girl has come far. No longer does she feel fear of the things that frightened her and not once does she fear the man she has fallen in love with. Sitting in the library with a book in her hand, trying to read it is also one thing that has changed. Living in the village she could not read and not many did but she was taught to read and she found herself enjoying it. A long time it has been since the last time she held a book.

Hades had told her to entertain herself while he did King work which he did not tell her what was yet she did trust him, after everything that they have been through she did trust him, more than anyone else. Being in the library she wasn't alone. Her friends were there and when looking back she begins to realize that is because of her that they found the goodness in their hearts. Luna, the girl who wanted nothing more than to bring doom and death on the world, is not embracing the kindness and Thalia, the girl who has been treated horribly her entire life is fighting for what is right.

Arabella had impact on their lives without even knowing it and she changed them for the better, yet she did not do that alone, they did it also on their own and they fought for their own rights. The smile on Arabella's face when she looks at her two friends, one trying to sharpen a knife, in case she would need it to kill someone to protect Arabella (which both know won't be necessary) and the other trying to figure out what types of books she does like.

It brings her joy to see that and just by looking back at how things were before all of the madness took place in her life, something unfolds to her. She would never have accepted who she truly was without the things that happened, without dying two times and going through the heartbreak and the pain. All of the events that took place have molded her into the person that she is and the person that she will be and even now she is still growing into the person that she is meant to be.

Reading the same page over and over again because she always loses her focus and thinks of other things Luna takes notice of. "If you find that difficult you can always choose another book" She states to the fire eyed girl who only lets out a giggle. "Yes, that would be what I would do except I do not find it difficult at all" She says as she looks up at Luna with a soft smile on her lips. "Enlighten me then, what bothers you for I see the look on your face and it does not look pleasant" Thalia then joins in the conversation.

Closing the book and putting it aside, Arabella sighs as she adjusts herself in the sofa. She had changed her clothing for the dress she has been wearing was not one for reading and now she wears a simply white dress with a corset under it and it travels down to the floor yet makes it easy for her to move around in. "I suppose I have a lot to think of, I will meet my father soon and I do not know what to wear, what to do or what to say. I do not know if he will recognize me" She admits and even when they have gone over it, she still feels nervous.

Then again one will always be nervous meeting their parents for the first time after not know who they were. "Remember, we will be there for you" Thalia says. In truth, neither she nor Luna knew how to comfort the young girl for neither of them have been in this situation before in their lives and cannot tell her or guide her. "Take it from me, fathers are not always what you need. I survived without mine and for years you have too" Luna begins.

"I wished to have a father to care and love me yet not once did he do that and I know that is all right for I am better for it" Luna tells her. She may not have had the best father figure but there were times about ten thousand years ago that she did love her father and only wanted his approval. "There are times that fathers are needed in life yet they sell their daughters to a rich suitor" Thalia says. Arabella did not have the same experience as other girls her age do.

She never had a father to sell her off yet her brothers were there. However, whoever they were going to choose for her, she had to approve of the suitor that they had picked. They wanted her to choose who she would marry for they wanted the best for her, always have done and always will do. "Your father does not have power over house even when he is your father, you are a Queen, about to marry a King. You have power over your father" Luna says. Perhaps she just wanted something to slaughter.

It is true that she is trying to be good, yet that has never stopped the urges to kill again and when it comes to Arabella, the girl and the soon to be sister that she has bonded to, she would try to kill the whole world again for her. Or perhaps she just wanted to see the humans slaughter each other, either way someone would end up dead and she would watch it. The fire haired girl doesn't know if they are trying to make her feel better or scare her, or perhaps both. Even when they have had this conversation before, she still feels nervous.

The only father figure in her life has been her brothers. "Let us not speak of that much longer, I wish to know about how the two of you have captured he hearts of my brothers" Arabella says with a small smirk on her face. The two people that are in the room with her do have something in common and that is Arabella's brothers. Thalia's cheeks turn bright red while Luna looks down to the ground in shame. "There is nothing to be frightened of speaking about it. I do admit my brothers are handsome and you do not know how happy it makes me to know that they have found you" She tells them.

She smiles at them as they do look embarrassed about it. It has been a long time since she has had time with only girls, talking about things that girls speak about. Like love and romance and men. "I do not know if your brother seems me in the way that I see him" Luna confesses as she backs a bit away from the sofa, afraid that the two girls would laugh at her. Yet all she gets is a reassuring smile from Arabella, the one person she knows she can trust with her life.

"Believe me, my brother does love you and that goes for Jaxon as well, Thalia I see the way that he looks at you and the way that you look at him. They say love is a rare thing to find in this world yet we have found it and my brothers do love you and you do love them. Sometimes feelings can be a bit hard to understand but once you have accepted them the world will become much clearer. At first I hated Hades and I was afraid of him yet now I love with him with my whole heart" Arabella tells them.

Saying these things aloud she begins to see that she is much more lucky than so many other girls are at her age, most never find true love, only learn to love the husband that they are given yet never love him the way that true love works. Maybe true love is rare but these three girls have found it. Luna smiles as she welcomes Arabella into a hug. She has never felt love before in her life yet now that she has felt it, she doesn't know what it is.

But the words that Arabella spoke makes her see that what she feels might be love and soon she knows Grayson will love her too. "Hopefully your gossip will not end relationship as I am in desperate need to marry" Hades' voice comes from the door as he stands there in all his glory, wearing a riders outfit. The three of them looked shocked to see him and have no idea how much he has heard as they had been talking about their deepest feelings and their love for their men.

Arabella giggles as she stands up and walks over to him, she doesn't know if she should kiss him or hug him or both. That kind of behavior is forbidden when nod wed yet they are soon to be wed so she is quite confused about that. However, when they do get wed she will be able to do whatever she wants with him because he will belong to her and she will belong to him. "Hades, how much did you hear?" She asks them as she looks nervously as Luna and Thalia who are equally as embarrassed at it.

"Do not worry yourself, no single word made it to my ears" He answers, in truth he did hear the whole conversation as he had been hiding there for a long time, just wanted to know what was being said by them. He will do whatever it takes to keep the girl he loves safe and that included the very people she trusts because there have been times that the ones she trusts have turned on her and he does not wish for that to take place once again. He swore to himself that he would now allow anyone to harm her again and this time (even when failed a couple of times) he will stand by that promise.

Yet when it comes to the young Queen one can never know the dangers that are waiting for her and the things that will take place next. It always seems when one thing is done and another takes over and it is always worse than the last one. The three girls sigh with relief when believing that he did not hear a single word that they had spoken when in reality he did hear every single one of the words that they had spoken.

"Why have you come here? I believed you were busy" Arabella asks as she still stands in front of him, her mind still trying to decide if she should hug him or not. She has hugged him before, yet now they are soon to be married to one another and that does change things. For normal people they would meet on their wedding day and then spend the night in the embrace of each other and touch each other yet neither Arabella nor Hades are normal people, they are as far away from normal as one can get.

He shrugs. "It has been taken care of, for now I know that I need to do the thing that most would fear. Meeting your father" He says and as soon as those words leave his mouth a smile of joy coleus across Arabella's and Luna and Thalia stand up with shock. None truly knew when they were supposed to leave yet they did not expect it to be so soon as she has only learned that she does have a father who is a King yet she has not prepared herself. However knowing the young Queen she can do all she sets her mind to.

She has literally survived coming back to live twice and she has been through pain that not many at her age have been through and the heartbreak. Arabella is a strong person and she can do anything. "When shall we leave?" She asks him, the only worlds that she could even speak. Her body is in shock and the thought about meeting her father is surprising to her and she does not know what to think of it. "Now" Hades tells her. Her body feeling she is about to faint at any given time.

"Now, I do not know if I am ready" She says as she turns around to look at Luna and Thalia who have walked over to her. Luna pulls her in for a hug. "I will stand right beside you the whole time, do not worry about any of the things that you mind keeps coming up with and if all goes sideways then I can just kill them all for you" She whispers into her ear, knowing what no one else could hear her as those words were only meant for Arabella to ear and no one else.

Arabella can only roll her eyes at the words, knowing that Luna may have changed yet there are some things that can never be changed and the violet eyed girl will most likely never loose the sense of killing, no matter how much she has come to the light. She is after all the darkness in the flesh and evil is what she was born into, kindness will not be easy for her yet she does try. "Thank you" Arabella whispers back as she is pulled into another hug by Thalia. And while she and Luna have never truly gotten along they both share a connection to the young girl.

She doesn't speak to her like Luna had but she did not need words, all she needed was the hug and both of them knew that. After breaking the hug Arabella feels better yet there is still nervousness living inside her body until one question forms in mind. She turns her body to look at the man that she has fallen in love with and will most likely never fall out of love with and her face is puzzled. "How will we get there?" She asks him unsure of how to get to the human world.

She after all was asleep the time that he took her there and he did kidnap her and take her to Hell yet that is the best thing that he has ever done, well perhaps not the best thing yet it is what started her love for him (though it did take some time for the love to come) and she doesn't know of the hundreds ways that can lead to the human world. The Gate being lone of them as her brothers entered there yet she is unaware of all of that.

"My thoughts we would go to the portal room" He says and as soon as those words come out of his mouth she's reminded of the things that happened the last time she was there, she needed up in a dark pace and she was lost and she found human bones but she also discovered that her tears glow which did help her to see yet that also lead to the bones. "We will stay by you the whole time and we will protect you from all harm" Thalia tells her. Thalia is a Demon and she is not supposed to be able to leave the Underworld yet with Arabella by her side she will be able to.

The Queen is rather powerful and this she is capable of doing. After all she was the one that did bring her brothers back to live, they came back as Demons but they are still alive and they are still with her and they are fining their happy endings which makes her happy. "Yes, my love, are you ready to meet your father?" Hades asks her with a smile on his face, he does only smile for her and when he does it is only meant for to see yet he did forget himself this time.

She nods her head as she does not trust her voice to speak at the moment. Meeting her father has been what she has wanted for the past couple of hours since she did learn that she had a father that was alive and not some random man that her mother did used to conceive her. However, knowing is somehow worse because now she is faced with the expectations that her father would be perfect and he would be just how she imagined him to be.

Accept her and be the perfect father yet the doubts hold her back, in truth she doesn't know what to believe. Hades takes her hand and together they start walking the hallways to the portal room with the fear inside. Luna and Thalia walk behind the two of them yet do not speak to each other, they are only there to help Arabella and stand by the young Queen and support her in ways that Hades cannot. "I wonder how he looks like" Arabella thinks out loud as they draw ever so close to the portal room. Distracting herself from the memories that took place when she came this hallway the last time is the first thing on her mind.

Her mind has been running for a while about everything. About the past and how things used to be before all of this happened, how she used to be before she because the Queen and how things have changed in such a short period of time. She is still a fifteen-year-old girl and she has been through so much in her life and it has not even been a year, a couple of months but not a year. "He must be handsome for not did you get your beauty from your mother" Luna jokes.

Some of her looks come from her mother yet her father she doesn't know what she got from him. It is obvious that the way of ruling came from him for it was as if she was born with the ability to rule a kingdom and she was for she is the daughter of a King. Standing in front of the door that leads to the portal room she feels her heart beat faster within her chest and she's not sure if she will be able to calm it down. Hades opens the door and she realizes that there is no turning back. She's going to meet her father.
