"The fire shall live on"

The old woman looks at Luna with the most shocked look that her face could make. In the fifteen years that she has been planning that revenge, she never thought that someone especially one in the Underworld would be able to figure out the plan. "Go nothing to say?" Luna speaks, her smirk widens when she sees how shocked this woman is and can't believe that she was the one to figure it out. "I would step away from her if I were you" Luna says again to the old woman. Neither one of them noticing the crying Thalia who cries for Jaxon.

The two had spent a night together and though neither had said it nor had time to for there is always something dangerous lurking around in Hell, they did care for each other. She might even say that she has fallen in love with Jaxon, yet afraid for he would not love the creature that she is when he realizes that she is not human like he is. As for Jaxon, he had cared for Thalia, yet unsure if what he did feel was love or not, but it was slowly turning into love. Even when they had not spent so much time together. And now she lets the tears for her loved one fall.

"You think my sons were the only plan I had... well, I would say you thought wrong. Now, that I have her weakened, there is nothing that can stop me. And don't expect that brother of yours to help you, he has lost his mind or regained his mind is what is the better term and your other brother, he's off fighting the beast. While your two others are two much of a coward to show their faces after having been burned alive. You are all alone, little girl" The woman spoke.

However, nothing that she said shocks Luna for she already knew that. "Alone I am, I suppose. Yet, you forget that I've been alive before time was invented. While you are just a fragment of my power, I am the mother of all darkness, I am darkness in the flesh" Luna speaks. Her voice darkens and becomes more twisted. The prison might have kept her hidden away for ten thousand years, yet she cannot deny the birthright she was born into. "Yes, you might be the living darkness. I've heard it all before" The old woman speaks.

"But, you bear no weapons while I carry one and even though this knife was originally meant to dig its steal into my daughter's heart, yours will just have to be the first" The old woman says before she begins to attack the midnight haired girl who only smirks at the woman's attempts. Yet she does fight back even when she does not carry any weapons on her, she does fight with her magical properties, remembering that she's fighting to save the girl who would've risked her life to save hers and would do so without hesitation.

While Luna battles the old woman, her brothers, Lucifer or now Hades and Poseidon are fighting. One with a sword and one with the immortal power of Hellfire, one not wanting to hurt the other while and one enjoying hurting the other. "Soon, you shall fall like you were meant to. It is in your nature to submit to me" Hades speaks, his once so dark and evil that even his brother shivers by the sound of his twisted voice. "Never, as long as there is a reason to fight I will not give in" Poseidon says.

He held the sword tightly with his right hand and was ready to fight his brother if he needed to. They had not begun battling yet but only intimidating each other, seeing who will attack first and what will be the main reason for the attack, either anger or pity. Both are immoral and neither can kill one another yet pain is something that both can and will feel. "Well, then brother. It seems I will just have to force your submission. You are pathetic and weak to believe you can take me. You might be older yet do not forget that Hellfire is much stronger than you will ever be" Hades says.

It is clear that Hades is angry and after being locked away inside Lucifer's body, looking but never actually seeing everything, he is bound to have a lot of anger that needs to be let out, it is only a matter of time. And the possessiveness and protective instincts in him of Arabella are one of the things that fuel his anger. Wanting to be with her and close to her has almost compelled his body to turn around. Yet, being without her makes the anger inside of him much worse than it is.

The beast will do everything it can to get back to her and the only thing standing in his way, is his brother, the one who he is about to defeat. "It might have been a long time since we met brother, but I shall remind you of what I said before you locked me away. I was going to make you beg on your knees. Beg for mercy and beg me to not feel the torture" Hades begins and he is ready to attack his brother. "Yes, I believe I remember those words clearly, yet have you already forgotten the second part of your threat" Poseidon speak, taunting his brother with a smirk on his face.

"Oh, I remember perfectly. I would destroy everything you hold dear. At the time it was only your pathetic kingdom but my... you have fancied yourself a woman, a girl no older than sixteen and I hear she's quite beautiful. Such a shame she would have to fall..." Hades says. Noticing the anger in Poseidon's eyes when he says those words. With anger controlling his body, Poseidon charges at his brother with his sword ready to strike.

Hades has the look of evil inside his eyes and the smirk of wickedness plastered on his face. He dodges when the sword comes and steps out of the way so that his brother runs past him. "I truly believed you were better with a sword than this, considering that you have gotten training while I have not" Hades says, still taunting his brother. He is not going to stop any time soon, yet he feels deep down inside him that he needs to be with his Queen and finally meet her at last. He has been locked inside for so long and wants her to love him as she does Lucifer.

In truth Arabella fell in love with Lucifer and not Hades even if they are the same man yet a complete different one. Hades is the real one while Lucifer was the soft side of Hades. Poseidon continues to try to attack his brother who still continues to dodge his attack with a smirk on his face. But Poseidon being the skilled swordsman that he is knows better than that and he goes behind Hades and kicks him in the knees. The force sends him down to the ground with his hands as his only landing.

However, he doesn't try to do anything to him but he lets out a cruel laugh. Then swings his leg that brings Poseidon on the ground beside him. Then he takes his sword away from him and stands up using the sword to support his weight. With Poseidon on the ground he puts the tip of the sword to his chest where his heart is. "A good try brother, but not enough to beat me and all without using fire but I could always use that method" Hades says. The smirk never leaving his face.

Poseidon also smirks however, he knows something that his brother doesn't know. When he sees that Hades isn't looking his hand slowly travels to his pocket where something is hidden. "Well, I must say that I can always try but the fight is not over until one of us has surrendered and I would never surrender to my brother, especially when it just so happens that my brother is my enemy" Poseidon speaks and in doing so he confuses Hades who believes has won the fight, yet the fight has only just begun, and he's about to find out what his brother meant.

Poseidon takes out a ring from his pocked and quickly he puts on the ring on his finger. The ring is made out of pure gold and has a single stone in the middle of it which as soon as he put on begins to glow bright blue. A force field forces Hades backwards but he doesn't fall down. The sword in his hands is cast out of his hands and into the hands of Poseidon who has stood up from the ground. A smirk on his face and a shocked look has replaced the face of his brother.

The ring on his finger continues to glow as he holds the sword in his hands. "You dare to use magic in my kingdom!" Hades yells, the anger boiling inside of him and all he wants to do is tear his brother limp from limp and he could. He would also like to burn him in Hellfire but it would be far more satisfying is that Arabella, his love would do it for him, she is after all much more powerful than he is and he does love her too much to take all the fun from her.

He saw how she liked to burn his other brothers, and a good practice too for she could not kill them, even if she wanted to, she would not be able to. His anger nearly control him. "Yes, brother, I would do anything I can to protect that girl and that means keeping you away from her now, our sister is going to wake her up and then you can have a happy reunion together and rule for all eternity as King and Queen, but all I ask of you is a little bit of time" Poseidon speaks.

Trying to stay calm and trying not to attack his brother. "But, my dear older brother, you forget that this world is my kingdom and I control it" Hades says. He walks closer to his brother. Right before their eyes fire rises from the ground and it roars and crackles as it does. "You are nothing in this kingdom but dinner" He continues and the fires rapidly begin to grow bigger and more and more erupt from the ground. The fire is filled with anger that comes from the King himself and his pitch black eyes show it.

"Well, then brother. It seems that once again fire will fight water. Our truce broken and a war has begun" Poseidon says. He might not want to do this but he has to. He needs to protect Arabella from him, however what he doesn't know is that Arabella might not make it after all since there is a woman trying to kill her and Luna is doing everything she can to save her, yet can she save her? Will she be enough? Is her powers stronger? Will the Queen that was always meant to rule the world be able to rule or shall she fall like her own mother had planned?

While the two brother fight and Luna and the old woman battle, the thing that goes past them all is the human world. The human world suffers each time that the brothers fight. Lakes drying up and floods happening. Forests burning and no fires lighting all over earth. The humans themselves are suffering because of that and it goes unnoticed by everyone in the Underworld and they do not know the damage that they themselves are causing, yet if they knew they would care about it.

Yet, what they don't know won't hurt them, only others. The human world suffers and the confusion in all of them can't be hidden for long. Soon other forces will see that fire and water are battling in a war and perhaps something has changed since Hades came back into his own body and perhaps it won't. Fire is unpredictable and its flame will always wander when it gets the change, furthermore the fire Queen still remains in deep sleep and that can also affect the fire over the whole human world. The Queen and the King of Hell are the only ones who can stabilize the rouge fire when it rages on.

While Luna and the old woman battle Thalia continues to let her tears softly fall down to the ground. The sadness overwhelming her and she feels her true Demon form take place, yet only half-way. Her eyes turn pitch black the whole way, only letting her tears fall down. Her teeth sharper than any sword or knife and her spine twisting and turning in every direction. A tail growing from her lower back in the shape of a lean tail in a kohl black color. In her sadness she begins to sing softly.

I've seen dark before, but not like this

This is cold, this is empty, this is numb

The life I knew is over, the lights are out

Hello, darkness, I'm ready to succumb

I follow you around, I always have

But you've gone to a place I cannot find

This grief has a gravity, it pulls me down

But a tiny voice whispers in my mind

Thalia's voice is so low that it can barely be heard and Luna and the old woman are oblivious to her singing voice. And she sobs quietly as she continues to sing, for the man she has fallen in love with, she cries for the girl that rescued her and saved her from a fate that was never meant for her. She cries for the kingdom and she cries for the world and she cries for herself.

You are lost, hope is gone

But you must go on

And do the next right thing

Can there be a day beyond this night?

I don't know anymore what is true

I can't find my direction, I'm all alone

The only star that guided me was you

How to rise from the floor?

But it's not you I'm rising for

Just do the next right thing

As she continues to sing her Demon from begins to fade away and her human form begins to show itself. Her voice is barely a whisper and it may seem that her voice is no where to be heard except for her own ears and her own mind. Yet, her singing voice travels longer than she would've ever imagined and what began as the song sung in sadness and grief may become the very thing that ends up being something that can be a force for good. Thalia may be a Demon in a human form but perhaps she was never supposed to be in Hell in the first place.

I won't look too far ahead

It's too much for me to take

But break it down to this next breath, this next step

This next choice is one that I can make

So I'll walk through this night

Stumbling blindly toward the light

And do the next right thing

And, with it done, what comes then?

When it's clear that everything will never be the same again

Then I'll make the choice to hear that voice

And do the next right thing

Unknown to everyone at the moment is that the necklace that is around Arabella's neck had a red stone that had the light fading with her life along with it and the Queen that was meant to rule the world was dying right before everyone's eyes without them ever knowing it. The fighting and the revenge as well as the grief plans distracts everyone from the fact that the life is fading away from the girl that all but one have plans on saving, while the old woman would not mind her dying as that is the reason she came to the Underworld.

To Arabella life is sweet and it is wonderful in her eyes. She has never been more happier. She has her husband and her unborn baby growing inside of her which filled her up with endless happiness and joy. Life has never been sweeter than this and each minute she feels like smiling. Her electric blue eyes shining with pure bliss and sadness nor grief has never found their way in as she cannot even know how that feels like and prays that she never has to find out.

The night has come upon her and she lies in bed with her husband beside her, yet sleep seems to be unable to find itself to reach her. Deep inside of her there is an unknown feeling that she can't shake out and let herself fall into sleep. Her eyes stare up at the ceiling, yet a frown never finds her face. Even when she is tired and wishes to sleep she does wonder about everything. Her mind continues to swirl with ideas that she has never thought of before. She can't remember where she came from or having met another person beside her husband, when thinking about it she can't remember anything at all.

"You are lost, hope is gone, but you must go on..." A voice whispers to her. She sits up and looks around her, yet she's all alone. The voice was so familiar to her that can almost picture the female speaking to her. Furrowing her eyebrows in confusion, her mind begins to doubt a lot of things. "So I'll walk through this night, stumbling blindly toward the light..." The voice says again. This time she stands up and looks around her. Somehow she does recognize that voice but on the other hand she can't remember ever hearing it before.

Going outside the bedroom and she goes into the darkness of the outside where green grass touches her bare toes. Her electric blue eyes stare into the distance as if she were looking for something but is met with nothing but the darkness. The soft voice had whispered to her and she does as she was told and her feet find themselves walking into the night. She does not know where she is going nor does she care. Compelled something inside of her that keeps her going as she walks into the darkness.

"I won't look too far ahead, it's too much for me to take, but break it down to this next breath, this next step..." It whispers all around her as a face of a woman appears in her mind. Closing her eyes to see the woman better, she can see her face and her smile and she hears her voice echo in her mind. Arabella's eyes snap open. The fire has lighted up inside her irises and the flames move in a raging motion as they catch the sight of the light in front of her. With a smile on her face she runs towards the light.
