"Nothing is more powerful than the flame from a raging fire"

A night has come and while Arabella, the fifteen years old Queen still in deep slumber created with the darkest of black magic, Lucifer or Hades as he goes by now fights his brother, with beast in full kill mode. Luna's in the small room doing the spell to help the young Queen yet she has come unsuccessful. "Why does this not work? I did everything right and it should be working" She says to herself before she lets out a scream of anger and frustration. She has failed and Arabella's time is running out. Grayson flinches when she screams as if it has physically harmed him.

She turns around to look at him with the most murderous look on her face and he shivers when he sees her. "Got anything to say?" She asks but he knows that if he does answer she will hurt him and if he doesn't then she will hurt him. But, before he could even do anything she turns back around and looks at her spell and then back at him. The anger all washed away from her face and has been replaced by her grinning with evil and pure wickedness that can send any man to his grave.

"You are her brother and as soon as you came here, this happened to her. You and your other brother are the reason why she's like this and only the two of you can save her" Luna says, realizing what must be done to save the young girl that has touched her heart and done the impossible. She had helped the younger sister of the man she loves care, open up her heart and care for another being. And she became her friend and she will not let her friend die. Not again. She will not go through that again.

While Luna has come with up the reasons why she's unable to work her magic, Jaxon and Thalia sit with Arabella and watch over her. Keeping her safe and protected, yet if they only knew what was coming their way. "I cannot imagine the pain she must be going through. I wish I would be able to take the pain from her" Jaxon speaks, his heart aching for his sister. "I second that. She was going to change this place for the better and I pray that she will live to be able to sit on that throne and rule like she was meant to. If you ask me, I'd say she's a Angel that has been sent to Hell to save us" Thalia tells him.

It can be strange for one to think of an Angel in Hell, yet for those who have met her she is an Angel sent from above to bless them. "What did she plan on doing?" He asks her and she gapes at him. Obviously he has not seen the changes since she got there. "Before Queen Arabella stepped foot in here, we were forced to live in our Demon form, slaves to others and treated like nothing. We were nothing. Everything was dark and twisted but when she came fire started lighting up all around" She answers.

"All of a sudden the Underworld began to change and it was beautiful to watch it. We felt her energy and when she sat on the throne for the first time, it was like we were reborn. It was the most amazing feeling I've ever felt" Thalia says, a soft smile on her face as she holds the injured hand of the Queen, hoping that she's not suffering wherever she is and praying she will be able to find her way back home.

Jaxon looks at his sister in shock and surprise. He always knew that she was a wonder and when he came there, he saw just who she was and she embraced it perfectly. She was a Queen. And perhaps he and his brother failed to see what was really inside of her this whole time. "I came here to take her back to where he belonged but seeing her here has made me realized that she never belonged there, she truly belongs here and I will not take that from her" He speaks.

Thalia looks up at him shocked and surprised at how he was talking. "Why would you come here to take her back to a place she was never supposed to be in. I was told that the King had come to take her from a young age but you and your brother needed to raise her and then when she was ready give her up to him" She says. Her gaze retuning to the girl that has done so many great things for her. "From the moment I held her in my arms, I loved her" He begins, tears forming in his eyes.

"All I wanted was to protect her. Neither one of us understood that things she had always been able to do, fire lighting up around her, never getting cold and touch fire with her bare hands. Perhaps we did not understand it and the only answer was keeping her away from it. We wanted to give her a life that was happy and filled with joy. Yet, now I realize we did not do that, this place has. I saw the smile on her face and the love in her eyes" He says as the tears of both happiness and sadness run down his cheeks.

"It's not easy for me to do this but I think that she needs to be here, where she is happy and where she belongs. And pray that I will someday see her again" He says as he kisses Arabella's hand. Thalia puts her hand on his hand and smiles at him. "The first rule of family, always put their needs above your own and you've proven that you do love her" She tells him. She might be a Demon and in Hell but she does have a heart.

Demons are the sinners of the human world and not known for their kindness, yet Thalia has shown again and again that she truly is a force for good. He furrows his eyebrows in confusion. "What about your family?" He asks her, the question shocking her to the bone and she looks up at with fright and terror. "My family does not matter. Still, your sister, Queen Arabella has shown me what a true family should be like. I may not have known her for long, yet I know that she is good and she is kind and she is family" She says.

"My, is this not sweet" A voice coming from the door speak, the voice sending shivers down both their spines and fright into their eyes. Looking up to see an old woman that one of them is quite familiar with. "I remember you" He speaks standing up. Thalia does the same and they stand beside the bed, in front of Arabella so the old woman could not see the young Queen sleeping on the bed. "I amused so" The woman spoke. Her voice dark and twisted and filled with evil. Evil that terrifies both of them.

"Who are you?" Thalia asks, ready to protect her Queen if need be and she's ready to do everything in her power to make sure that Arabella is safe and that one day she shall wake up again and rule like she was always meant to be. "You do not get to ask me questions, child. Now, get out of my way. I need to finish what I should have done a long time ago" The woman says, but neither Jaxon nor Thalia move. Not when they need to protect the poor girl that can't defend herself at the moment.

The woman does not look like she can put up a fight, yet neither of them truly knows what this woman is capable of doing. "I would rather die then let you touch a hair on her head" Jaxon says as he prepares himself to attack the woman. Somehow, he knows that this woman is powerful and she will be able to fight back. He doesn't know how he knows, but the feeling is awfully familiar to him but he can't worry about that when his sister's life is in danger. "Oh, but I would not want my own son to lay down his life. That would be cruel, yet then again, I've never been the kindest" She speaks.

His eyes widen when he hears her words and Thalia and himself are looking at the woman like she has grown a second head. "Your son? How can that be? My mother died at childbirth, giving birth to my sister, whom I hold dear" He tells her. The anger fills him up and this woman is not only confusing but also angering him. The old woman rolls her eyes. "You, my dear Jaxon, are in the Underworld with Demons by your side, do you think that a woman can die and still live?" She asks.

Her question doesn't make sense yet does at the same time and they are confused at this. She rolls her eyes and lifts her right hand up. Flicking her wrist to the right, both Thalia and Jaxon and thrown against the wall and as if something were pinning them down, they can't move. "Let us go" Thalia screams at the woman who completely ignores them. She walks over to Arabella as she soundly sleeps yet is in Hell in her mind but believing it to be a dream come true.

"If you are my mother than you are hers. I beg you not to hurt her" Jaxon calls out to her as he grunts while he attempts to break free from the invisible magic that holds him down, but no matter how much he fights against it, he can't move at all, not even a muscle. "I may have given birth to her but she is not my daughter. All you had to do was protect her and give me access so I could be the one to slay her once ad for all" She speaks.

Lost in her greed she takes out a dagger that she had hidden in her sleeve. The dagger is sharper than anything and the handle has ruby red stones along the sides that decorate it. "But she is your daughter. She is your flesh and blood. Why would you want to slaughter your own flesh and blood?" He asks. Anything to get her to spare the girl that he cares so much for. Thalia has tears running down her cheeks as she knows what is about to take place and she knows she has failed to protect the Queen.

"Please do not kill her. Without her the world will fall" Thalia says, her voice breaking and the sadness overbearing. Arabella might have come back to life two times before but this time she would not be able to and nothing in the world would be able to give back the life that she has running through her body. "Yes, it would fall, child, however, I would rise and the power would be endless..." The old woman trails off. "Yes, you would have endless power. But you forget one thing. All power has its limits, even the endless one" A new voice has joined.

Luna walks into the room like she owns it with an evil smirk on her face, hiding the feelings she has inside. The feelings of fright for the girl on the bed and love for the same girl. She has come to care so much for her and would do everything and anything to protect her. The old woman turns around. "I believe it is you whom I should be taking for my abilities, is it not?" She asks the girl who only glares at her. A glare that could very well send men to their graves.

"You can thank me with you dying" Lena answers back and rolls her eyes. Both Thalia and Jaxon see how angry she is and would not want to get in her way. They know of how she was in prison for a long time and they are beginning to understand why, she is frightening and scary. Still, the only one who does not fear her is the one that they all are trying to save. The old woman chuckles darkly. "You are petty. The legend of the girl who slaughtered millions of humans is not the same girl that stands before me" She says.

"And why does one human life mean to you? If you so did kill all those people, then why do you wish to save one human life?" She asks before Luna could even speak. Her violet eyes filled with rage and her the look on her face is darker than the midnight black hair on her head. "It is true. I do not care for humans, but I do care about family. That girl will soon be the wife of my brother, making her my sister and you do not mess with my family" Luna says before she smirks.

She walks around the woman and doesn't even spare a glance at Jaxon or Thalia as she walks in front of them. "After all, it is you who care about humans. You see, I figured out your plan. The moment that Arabella was taken to the Underworld you started dying. Because she was and always has been weakening you. While she knew nothing of it, you knew it all and you had fifteen years to plan your revenge. And you did come up with the perfect one. However, on the other hand you made one mistake" Luna says.

The woman pales when she has come to realize that Luna does know her plan, however she's quick to hide her fright and emotions. "You believe yourself to be clever" The woman speaks, trying to make Luna small. Yet, while the woman has had about a couple of years, Luna has been alive since the beginning of time. She's older and wiser, even if she has taken the form of a teenage girl. "I do not believe myself to be, I am" Luna speaks. The two of them glare at each other. Luna making sure that the dagger is visuals in her eyesight, to make sure that nothing happens to Arabella.

Jaxon and Thalia watch the two with curiosity and fight. Listening to their words and they are trying to piece together the puzzle that only the woman and Luna has finished. The woman scoffs. "If you are clever then you know what must be done. You may care for that girl but other humans you do not care for" The woman says. Knowing that her plan has brought her to victory. She did after all have fifteen years to plan it to perfection. "Are you willing to kill my two sons to save her and make her hate you for all eternity or will you no longer stand in my way?" The woman asks.

Shock was the only thing written on Jaxon's and Thalia's faces when those words were spoken. Neither could believe what they had heard and for some time they wondered if they even heard it right but when they look at each other to see their faces, it is known to them that they did indeed heard what they thought they heard. "Kill me and my brother?" Jaxon asks but no one listened to him. "I might very well do that. I do not care for them" Luna says.

Even Thalia can see that she is lying, and it doesn't take much to notice that she does care for Arabella and to make sure that she is happy and doesn't hate her, Luna can't kill her brothers. "You can't kill them, she would never forgive you" Thalia calls out to Luna who quickly looks at her. "She may be kind and she may care but what good is it if she does and her brothers follow right behind her. Why have all three of them fall when you can save the most important one" Luna answers.

In her mind, she's already made up her mind and for the choice that she will make, she will have to face the consequences for those choices, whether it were the right ones or not. "You should listen to the Demon child, she knows the truth that you cannot see" The old woman speaks. Luna has had enough of that woman and it takes everything in her to not murder her not the spot, yet she can't kill her. The old woman may be old and is in the body of an old woman but she is smart.

Killing her would lead to Arabella's fall. The only way to save Arabella is to kill her brothers and then the old woman, that is the only way to save her and bring her back from the place that she has been taken too. And they are running out of time. "You do realize that the longer we stand here arguing, that girl is already dying. The longer she stays like that, the quicker she dies, and if for some miracle you were able to wake her, she would have no memories of anything" The old woman says before she laughs.

So cold and so cruel, however, she is not the only one who can play the cruel game because it was Luna and her brother that invented the act of cruel. "Yes, that might be true. However, I've been buying time for the other human brother. You see, right before coming here, I stabbed and let him bleed out. Any moment now he will take his last breath and the twin brothers are bonded together. This one will also die. Which means you can die without Arabella dying" Luna speaks.

"I figured that you needed to come here but you could not since Arabella's magic is the strongest here. You put them on the track here, believing that they needed to save her and protect her. Yet, all you needed was a strong enough bond to shield yourself from her magic so you'd be able to spell her and weaken her. But, guess what. When I found the birthmark that bonds them together, I realized. I do not have to kill them both. Only one" Luna says. The face of the woman falls as victory fades away from her. And as on cue. Jaxon's body goes limp and the life has faded from his face. Both him and his brother, Grayson are dead.
