Two weeks later
Around fourteen days later, everything seemed to better itself. Jeongguk got the final message that his parents moved to Busan around the fifth day, without saying goodbye or leaving a message to him. While it did break his heart a little, it also took the biggest encumbrance out of his life.
His stuff, his clothes, clay things and everything around, was one day found on the porch outside of Taehyung's house, packed into three cardboard boxes, when the two returned back from school. This too, released some of the weight that sat on his shoulders, especially concerning his financial dependence on the Kims currently. Never in his life had he been this thankful to someone before. Taehyung and Hana were there for him from day one on. Not only financially, speak; giving him a place to stay in, food, clothes, etc., but also emotionally.
Especially emotionally. Especially when it came to Taehyung.
"Jeonggukie!"
The excited voice booming from downstairs pulled Jeongguk right out of his thoughts and the nap he was about to take. His eyes opened and he got met with the white ceiling of the former guest room that was now his own. He yawned when a knock on his door appeared.
"Gguk, come on! The new episodes of Miraculous are released! Let's watch together!"
A smile formed on Jeongguk's lips as he finally got up to open the door, getting met with Taehyung's big pleading eyes. "You'll watch it with me, right?"
How could anyone say no to him?
"Sure."
Taehyung's face morphed into the biggest smile as he quickly grabbed Jeongguk's hand to pull him downstairs to the couch in the living toom. Getting comfortable on it, Taehyung used the remote to open up Netflix and start the new episodes of the show he had been waiting for all this time.
Jeongguk followed halfheartedly, but he told himself that he would keep this promise to Taehyung. Now he knows that for the next time he should rethink before promising he would watch Miraculous with him together.
The younger then leaned against Jeongguk's shoulder, lip-syncing to the intro music.
"Y'know, I was about to take a nap," Jeongguk informed halfway through the first episode, caressing Taehyung's arm.

The blond looked up to him with a stern expression. "What's more important, a nap or Miraculous?"
A low chuckle left Jeongguk's throat, as a smirk pulled on the left side of his lips. "You, that's why I'm here."
Blushing, Taehyung turned his eyes back to the playing film, afraid he would stutter if he tried to talk.
Jeongguk's eyes never left him though, studying his perfect side profile, his round nose, pink lips and long eyelashes that were to die for.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer," the blond commented as he caught Jeongguk starring.
The ravenette simply smirked. "I could look at you all day and not get bored."
Taehyung rolled his eyes at him. "Lame flirt attempt."
Cocking his head a little to the side, Jeongguk's attractive smirk grew into a mocking grin. "Yet you're blushing."
"I'm not blushing." But the pink taint on his cheeks said otherwise.
Chuckling, Jeongguk wrapped an arm around Taehyung's waist and pulled him close to his side. The younger gave fighting against a smile up and just sighed contented as he moved even closer, the back of his head resting on Jeongguk's chest now.
Jeongguk closed his eyes, feeling his breathing evening as he inhaled the scent of Taehyung's shampoo.
It's been two weeks and these two weeks were time used to finally settle with the situation. It was a time to get comfortable, to grow together. To clear a lot of things up. For example, how Jeongguk was going to search for a job, as he wasn't wanting to live on Hana's behalf completely, which the woman had tried to stop him from, but in the end there was nothing going to stop him. Or how the guest room was going to be Jeongguk's room. Or how they decided to still keep their relationship private a little more, before really dropping the bomb in school.
There has been a lot of talking, a lot of thinking and a lot of discussing.
And within all of what happened, none of the two had the courage to take a step forward, not being hundred-percent-ly sure how the other would react. Aside from that reason, this past weeks have also been busy, seeing as Jeongguk needed to settle in and they arranged his bedroom and all.

But now there's enough time.
"Tae?" Jeongguk opened his eyes again, to look at the blond, whose eyes were still focused on the Tv.
"Mhm?"
Jeongguk blushed because of what he was going to say next, all of the sudden feeling nervous. "Do you want to go on a date with me?"
He could literally feel Taehyung's body go rigid against his own, before it relaxed again. Taehyung turned to look up at the older boy. "Yes.. I would love to."
Usually it should be a normal thing to go on dates in a relationship like Taehyung's and Jeongguk's current one. But it ain't, it was something so special. During the past days, of course kisses were shared, they cuddled almost everyday, but the word "date" wasn't mentioned even once. I mean, they live together now, if they want to watch Netflix on the same couch, it's nothing special.
But calling something a date... makes it a thousand times more meaningful, because the intentions are clear.
Jeongguk smiled back and placed a small kiss on his head. "Thanks."
The silence that followed was definitely awkward and while Miraculous was still playing on the screen — Ladybug and Catnoir fighting against another villain— Taehyung found it hard to focus. The concentration was definitely somewhere else.
With his head still neatly resting on Jeongguk's chest, thousands of questions ran through his head as the question he agreed to earlier finally registered.
A date. A. Date. Where are they going to go? What will they do? What should he wear?
WHAT SHOULD HE WEAR?!
"Jeongguk?" Taehyung whispered quietly. Getting no response, he furrowed his eyebrows and craned his neck a little to look up to the ravenette, his eyebrows relaxing again and a smile settling on his lips when he noticed Jeongguk has fallen asleep.
A soft breath ran over his lips and he reached out for the remote, putting the series on pause, not wanting to watch further without Jeongguk.
Cautiously, he wiggled out of the ravenette's hold on him and looked around for a blanket to cover him with. Slipping into his mother's bedroom, he checked her closet, finding a thick brown blanket in one of the top shelves, pulling it out and then tippling back to the living room, where Jeongguk was soundly sleeping on the couch.
Taehyung made sure to cover him warmly, but also to put a pillow under his head and make him lay down a little more comfortable.
He straitened his back, sighing as he looked down at him for a few seconds.
And then he ran, as quietly as possible, upstairs and got his phone dialing a quick number.
"Hello?"
"Red alert, Jimin! He asked me on a date!"
"Damn, finally. Where to?"
"I don't know—
"Ask him."
"I can't, he fell asleep. I feel so nervous, Chim, I don't know what I should expect and what I should wear and ugh. He didn't give me any informations."
"He's Jeongguk and he'd only do the best for you, so you should expect the best."
Taehyung sighed softly. "The best can still mean literally anything. You know me, it can be a simple date in a cheap restaurant, It would still be the best for me, as long as he is there."
"You're so down bad for him, why again haven't you confessed yet?" There was this mocking note in Jimin's voice and Taehyung pouted by that.
"I don't know, I just... I'm scared."
"Of what? What do you fear? Jeongguk left his home and parents for you and you're scared to confess your feelings to him?"
"You're getting a little mean right now." Taehyung whispered, still in a pout. But be knew Jimin was so damn right about what he just said. Jeongguk did a lot to be with Taehyung— and what did Taehyung do?
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean that. It's your decision when you take a step forward, but the two of you have been unnecessarily dragging it, it's painful to watch. But at least.. you're happy together. I'm sorry about my attitude towards Jeongguk before, but seeing now how he treats you changed my view completely."
Taehyung smiled by these words, especially by the end. "Thanks, Chim and yes.. he makes me happy."
"So coming back to the topic... Should I come over?"
Taehyung grinned. "Yes, please."

Grim Beginnings
For most, ghosts and monsters were fantasy. For Tessa Byrne-Reyes, they were a constant in her daily life as a reaper. The legendary gods and creatures of mythology were, to her, historical figures. From a young age, she carried the weight of the world on her shoulders, possessing what she saw as a curse but what her family considered a gift. It was her birthright, to use her abilities to guide the deceased to the afterlife of an eternity in peace or in torment. Her classmates viewed her as "the fainting girl" who would pass out in the middle of a lesson with inexplicable injuries. She experienced each death in the town of Belmont Falls, from the mundane to the gruesome. A gunshot wound in the gut, broken ribs, her heart ceasing to beat for several minutes. No one understood what caused these incidents but over the years, she gained a reputation for being abnormal. While Tessa is the freak of Belmont Falls, Fin Belmont, the charming rebel and son of the richest man in town, is her polar opposite. Knowing each other for years but never saying more than a dozen words between them, one night changes everything, thrusting them into each other's unfamiliar and daunting worlds. Together, with the help of her best friend/his ex-girlfriend Elena, they begin to unravel secrets about their town and their pasts, learning that some secrets are better left buried and grudges can be held for centuries.
