Taehyung chewed on his lip. They almost reached school and they were holding hands and he has nothing against it and all, but he felt a little uncomfortable— which had nothing to do with Jeongguk being the one holding his hand.
Generally, he hadn't told Jimin about his reconciliation with Jeongguk and about that they kissed, made out, actually confessed their feelings, oh and also that Jeongguk was going to live with them for a while.
Not only that, but being absent from school for two days, plus weekend, and suddenly coming back while holding your supposed "rival's" hand, was a big thing, something that will be definitely shocking for a lot of students. Even teachers.
"Jeongguk?" He called out softly. He was scared the older will think he doesn't want to be seen with him like that, which isn't the case, like at all. But things have been going already too fast lately, at least some stuff should go slow and take its time.
"Yeah?" The ravenette answered and Taehyung stopped walking. "This might sound shitty and all, but is it alright for you if we don't... show us in school yet? I have nothing against it if you want to and I'd love to hold your hand and so on, but I feel like things are going too..."
"...fast" Jeongguk ended, a soft smile on his lips, which surprised Taehyung.
He looked down. "Yeah.. everyone thinks we hate each other, I haven't even told Jimin about us yet. Can we maybe... wait a little bit? I'm still not used to this." Taehyung felt bad saying this.
"I understand, don't worry," Jeongguk spoke, reading Taehyung's troubled expression. "I'm sorry that things are going so fast, I loaded you with all my problems and feelings, it's too
much maybe."
Taehyung was about to disagree, but Jeongguk beat him to it, that soft smile still marking his lips. "I don't want to push you to do anything you don't like or are not comfortable with yet," he brushed a strand of Taehyung's hair behind his ear, his fingertips lingering on his cheek for a while, "I'll wait for you. This is me and you together, when it comes to things like this, the decision has to be made by the both of us."

He bend down a little to look straight into Taehyung's eyes, the younger getting butterflies by it. "Thank you for telling me this, baby. I appreciate your honesty."
Maybe— just maybe— Taehyung melted on the spot. He smiled shyly. The nickname, the words, the way Jeongguk talked, everything was dripping fuel into the fire of admiration that Taehyung held inside for him.
"Thank you," he stumbled over his lips, giving into a small desire inside of him, that told him to be near Jeongguk. He wrapped his arms around the older's torso, pressing his face into his chest in the softest manner possible. He was so thankful for Jeongguk.
Jeongguk smiled, looking down to the boy to see he had his eyes closed, looking so comfortable. He wrapped his arms around Taehyung too and gently brushed his hand over his head.
And they remained like this for a short while, no words getting exchanged, while they swayed in between the waves of gratitude and love, appreciation and admiration.
"Hey you, were you dead or something?" Taehyung looked away from the view outside to see his best friend now sitting next to him in the classroom, that used to be almost empty a few minutes ago.
He smiled. "Hey, Chim," he greeted, to which Jimin rolled his eyes. "Where were you yesterday?"
"I wasn't feeling well," Taehyung lied.
Jimin sat down, pulling the stuff he needs for this lesson out of his backpack. "So unwell, you couldn't answer my messages?"
Guilt spread through Taehyung. "I'm sorry... I had a strong headache, looking at my phone would've just intensified it."
Jimin's expression turned worried. "Are you better now?"
"Yup." Nope. Because now guilt was literally eating him up alive and he was already planning on how to explain everything to Jimin during recess. But somethings inside Taehyung still wasn't ready for it.
"How is Yoongi?" Taehyung asked to change the topic, knowing the mention of his boyfriend will definitely cheer Jimin up.
And it did, a bright smile formed on the older's lips. "Great, I think. We spend yesterday together, since Jeongguk wasn't at school either."

Taehyung shrunk into his seat. "Oh. Is that so?"
"Yeah. Should've happened sooner, he always takes Yoongi away from me during school."
"I also take you always away from Yoongi though," Taehyung mumbles.
"That doesn't count," Jimin declared. Taehyung bit onto his lip.
"What if... there's someone who takes me away from you during school?" Taehyung asked, instantly regretting it by the way Jimin's pupils dilated.
"Who the fuck are you talking about?!" He asked excitedly.
"Nothing—
Taehyung sighed relieved when Jimin got distracted when Yoongi entered the room. And of course he was with Jeongguk.
Their eyes locked while Jimin and Yoongi were busy greeting each other with a kiss and all.
Taehyung tilted his head, then smirked. "What are you looking at?"
Surprised, Jeongguk squinted his eyes, then smirked back reading Taehyung's intentions. "I thought an animal took your place, had to look longer to realize it was just you."
Taehyung's mouth gaped, not having expected this response. He glared at him.
And Jeongguk maybe sent him an air kiss as a response, which then made Taehyung blush again.
"Get glasses, then," Taehyung commented, voice just a little bit softer because of fluster.
"Can you two, like, not fight every time you're breathing in the same room?" Yoongi asked annoyed.
"How do you keep up with him? Isn't he getting on your nerves?" Taehyung asked Yoongi.
"He can be sweet sometimes," Yoongi chuckled, ruffling Jeongguk's hair, who frowned at him, shooting him a death glare.
"Shut up," Jeongguk retorted, straightening his hair.
Taehyung knew exactly what 'sweet side' of Jeongguk Yoongi meant and he felt grateful to be able to experience it, even if it's still in secret for now.
Jimin side-eyed his best friend suspiciously. A week ago, Taehyung told him all happily about the kiss at Yoongi's party and suddenly Jeongguk and him are bickering like before.
The teacher soon arrived, a boring lesson of history passed and it was time for recess again.
"I need to go to my locker, Yoongi and you can go already," Taehyung told Jimin, who nodded.
"We're in the cafeteria."
Taehyung hummed, packing his stuff into his bag as Jimin left. He also walked out of the classroom, towards the hall with his locker. Like routine, he places his heavy books from before inside, already pulling out the ones for the next lesson.
"Do you have a girlfriend?"
Taehyung rolled his eyes without looking away from his locker, hearing a girl probably ask someone for his number. He sometimes wonders how some people can just so casually ask stuff like that.
"No, I don't."
That's when Taehyung's full attention was on alarm. That's Jeongguk's voice.
"That's nice. I really am interested in you. Can I maybe get your number?"
Taehyung chewed on his lip as he closed his locker, and slowly walked to the classroom with the opened door, where the two voices were coming from. He stopped in front of the door, peeking inside. Indeed it was Jeongguk.
"I don't give my number to people I don't know."
Taehyung felt a little uneasy. Was he jealous? That could be, but something was telling him no. Jeongguk obviously rejected her, so there's no way he feels jealous. But still there was this kind of suffocating feeling that made him feel threatened.
"We can change that. I'm Minah."
Jeongguk refrained from rolling his eyes, but Taehyung could read in his expression that he was getting annoyed.
"I'm not interested in you, I'm sorry," he mumbled. Taehyung wonders what Jeongguk was even doing there. He was sitting on his chair, writing something, while that girl kept nagging him.
"Why? C'mon don't play hard to get," she pouted in a pathetic attempt to be cute. Taehyung low key pitied her.
"Are you already seeing someone?" Her questions were getting even more annoying.
Jeongguk plainly hummed.
"Oh," her expression dropped, "So you are in love?"
Taehyung sucked in a deep breath, literally feeling his heart fall. He wanted to cover his ears to not hear Jeongguk's answer to that, but at the same time he wanted to hear every bit of it.
Jeongguk showed no bit of hesitation.
"Yes, I am."

SPECTER
This is a story I wrote when I was fifteen. I'm twenty-two. I decided to post this piece hoping it'll help inspire people to finish their story. The point of a rough draft is to barf words onto the screen. It's not suppose to be pretty. It's suppose to be finished.
