: too cute too handle, filler chapter
Jeongguk was already fast asleep for an hour, but Taehyung was still wide-awake, binge watching youtube while being curled up against the ravenette, his head laying on the sleeping male's chest, his hands holding his phone, his legs being pulled up, knees resting on Jeongguk's abdomen. He was basically almost lying completely on Jeongguk, but the sleeping male didn't seem to be fazed at all by that, one arm wrapped around Taehyung's waist. He fell asleep while Taehyung was in this position anyways.
Jeongguk was a great warmth source, his body the perfect pillow for Taehyung. The way his chest heaved up and down on Taehyung's head was calming. The scent of Jeongguk's faded cologne, mixed with his natural scent had engulfed Taehyung whole.
He didn't even know he ended up binge watching 5-Minute-Crafts for whole hours, but it was already almost two in the morning and he had to wake up for school in less than five hours.
However, he didn't feel tired at all, somehow sleep just didn't want to catch him and actually, he liked to savor this moment in Jeongguk's hold, the atmosphere around them.
Taehyung closed the tabs on his phone to do exactly that; just lie next to Jeongguk like this. He placed his phone on the nightstand, then turned back to the boy next to him.
Ever since the day Jeongguk climbed through his window and apologized and confessed the truth, Taehyung felt complete again. Maybe all those days crying over Jeongguk weren't all for nothing.
His lips curved into a beautiful smile, as he placed his hand flat next to his head on Jeongguk's chest, focusing on the sound of his calm heartbeat.
Unintentionally, Taehyung adapted his breathing to the beating of Jeongguk's heart, making him smile even more when he noticed.
He closed his eyes.
And slowly, sleep caught up to
him too.
An hour later, Jeongguk stirred awake for no reason at all. It was still pitch black outside. A yawn left his lips, as he slowly opened his eyes, allowing him to realize that he was in Taehyung's room. His eyes wandered down, the moonlight from outside giving him the possibility to look at the beautiful boy curled up against his body, sleeping soundly.

He let a soft breath out, his face morphing into a small smile. Slowly, he moved his hand away from Taehyung's waist, instead, he began brushing it through the blond's silky hair.
Not even a week ago, Jeongguk was still walking down the road of pretending to dislike the boy who was sleeping in his arms right now. He had never been more thankful to Taehyung, but right now.
He was so thankful the younger never really gave up on him.
Of course, Jeongguk still denied being worthy of all of this— hell, he had hurt Taehyung so much, he should be banned from being close to him, let alone sleep next to him like this.
The human nature is selfish though and Jeongguk couldn't stop. He couldn't stop wanting to have Taehyung with him forever, couldn't stop wishing to be with Taehyung forever.
He couldn't stop falling for the boy more and more every passing day, hour, minute, second.
His hand came to a short stop when Taehyung stirred lightly in his sleep, but relaxed again. Jeongguk's lips drew a smile.
The dreams of a 14 years old came true these past three days.
The roaring sound of an alarm woke up two peacefully sleeping souls. Taehyung pouted as he reached his hand out for his phone, turning the alarm off, while at the same time, Jeongguk next to him, or under him, groaned.
Taehyung sat up, his legs now on the ground next to the bed as he looked at his phone.
Jeongguk opened his eyes the moment Taehyung was gone, already missing the warmth of him. "Good morning, Shortie."
Taehyung never turned quicker than that to glare at Jeongguk. "Good morning, ass. Stop calling me that."
The older chuckled. "It slipped out. Habit, you know?"
Scoffing, Taehyung turned back around, checking his messages, deciding to ignore Jeongguk.
It didn't hold long though, as he suddenly felt two arms wrapped around his waist, someone pressing themselves against his back. "I'm sorry."

While butterflies swirled through Taehyung's whole body, he looked down to Jeongguk's arms around his tummy. He sighed, smiling as he put his phone away and leaned into the older's touch. "You're forgiven."
Jeongguk smiled, then used his strength to pick Taehyung back completely onto the bed, a squeal leaving the blond by the sudden move, followed by laughter. The ravenette laughed too as he straddled Taehyung's hips, tickling his sides. "Stop!"
He didn't stop, but continued, until he was sure he had heard enough of Taehyung's laughter for him to start the day.
Out of breath, both now looked towards each other, one of the two laying with his back flush against the mattress, while the other straddled him non top.
And the mood switched from one of the other second, when Taehyung's cheeks painted a dark shade of pink and he wasn't able to hold eye contact with Jeongguk anymore and looked away in shyness. Jeongguk, noticing the younger's behavior, couldn't help his heart from doing a jump.
"Can you... euhm, go down? We need to get ready for school—
"What if I don't want to?" Jeongguk questioned, his face inching closer towards Taehyung's. "What are you gonna do about it?"
Taehyung felt his heart beating in his throat as he looked to Jeongguk shortly and he gulped heavily. He turned his face away again, having no answer to that.
Jeongguk stared at him for a short while more, trying to contain himself from falling right over Taehyung. Instead, he leaned completely down to place a soft kiss to the younger's cheek, before getting up from the bed.
Taehyung's eyes widened, his eyes instantly moving to Jeongguk's, who looked at him back with the softest smile ever. "Come on, get up."
Chest swelling in warmth and fluster, Taehyung sat up and watched Jeongguk gather his stuff for school. "You know if you had told
me about the situation with your parents, we could have collected your stuff when we had the chance to."
Jeongguk's stopped in his movements and stood straight up. He scratched the back of his head. "Now that you say it... Honestly, all I wanted was to show you my work, since I told you I'd show you."
Taehyung stared at him. "When?" he asked, getting up.
"When we were locked in the classroom."
Taehyung's heartbeat fastened remembering it.
"Have you started making sculptures?"
Another wish of Jeongguk's that Taehyung would never forget. Jeongguk's dream was to build realistic sculptures with clay, the dishes were the training.
"Yes, I have... I could show you some of my work later when we're out.." he said, warily.
Taehyung loved to. Really. But he told himself that after leaving this room, he would avoid Jeongguk, as it would bring no good to him if he didn't.
"Nah, it's good. I believe you did a great job."
"Oh," Taehyung blushed embarrassed. "I declined the offer."
Jeongguk smiled. "But I know you didn't want to. The curiosity was evident in your pretty eyes, y'know."
Blush deepening the blond looked away from the ravenette. "I'm still not used to you saying stuff like that."
A chuckle left Jeongguk's lips and he ruffled Taehyung's hair. "Get used to it, because now you won't get rid of me." He reached his hand out to the younger." Now let's get ready for school and eat breakfast."
Taehyung smiled, placing his hand into Jeongguk's palm.

Galduta
What seperates beasts from men isn't the language we speak or any such drivel taught to us in school. It isn't the way we walk or our intelligence that sets us apart. Some would have you believe that it is our ability to think and reason that makes us fundamentally different from the creatures that inhabit the world. That way of thinking, my friends, is entirely wrong. What seperates us from them and them from each other, is simply the skin that we all wear
