It was funny to watch Yoongi's eyes grow double their size after hearing Jeongguk say that he ate dinner with Taehyung and his mother. "How? I thought you hate each other?"

"I never said that," Jeongguk mumbled under his breath, a strange feeling stirring inside of him, remembering when he was locked in the classroom with Taehyung and the younger was so surprised to hear that Jeongguk never hated him. "Do I give the impression that I hate him?"

Yoongi snorted. "One eye contact of you two feels like sunshine on metal— burning hot. It always looks like you're both ready to pluck each other's eyeballs whenever you're in the same room. So... yeah."

Jeongguk chuckled a little because of the description Yoongi used. "I don't hate him."

"Bruh, I know. You're constantly talking about him," Yoongi rolled his eyes. "You're an idiot for what you did."

He knows it. Jeongguk was well aware of it and he hated that he had to do that. "I had no other choice."

"You did," Yoongi grumbled. "You could've started new with your family in another city, after saying goodbye to Taehyung properly and explain everything. You decided to stay and broke his heart by that. I don't mean to judge you, but you acted like a selfish prick and I'm totally judging you for that."

"Thanks, I love you too," Jeongguk scoffed, Yoongi's words nothing new to him. He is never going to expect from Yoongi to be on his side in this whole situation, as he knows he did an selfish act that cost him his best friend.

"How did you end up at Taehyung's house though? Didn't your mom shred you to pieces?"

"She doesn't know," Jeongguk's expression fell hard by the mention of his mother. "She can't control my life forever."

"That's what I'm saying, dude." The seriousness in Yoongi eyes and his voice surprised Jeongguk. "You need to tell Taehyung what happened."

"Okay class, please leave only your writing tools that you need for the exam on your tables and put everything else aside."

"Were my notes helpful?" Taehyung asked his best friend.

"I'm so gonna fail this one," Jimin grumbled under his breath. "What if I ditch right now and write it another day?"

"It's too late for that, she already saw you," Taehyung spoke, feeling bad for his best friend. "I'm gonna try and help you as much as I can."

"You're the best, Tae," Jimin smiled.

Taehyung smiled back, his eyes suddenly looking around the room. He hated how they would do this on their own from time to time, searching for a certain raven haired who has to be in this class. He wasn't though.

"Neither him nor Yoongi are here yet," Jimin mumbled, having caught Taehyung looking around.

The younger hummed. "I don't care."

From the side of his view, he could see Jimin roll his eyes. "Of course you don't."

"I'm sorry, we euh.. couldn't find the room." A calm Jeongguk said as he and Yoongi entered the classroom. Taehyung tried to look away, but he couldn't, his eyes unintentionally resting on the ravenette's flawless, tall frame.

"That's a lie, Jeongguk, but never mind. We didn't start yet, sit down," their Spanish teacher said, to which Jeongguk gave a guilty smile, while Yoongi's expression stayed unbothered as always.

Until his eyes found Jimin and they literally seemed to catch a shine, his lips forming into a soft smile. The effect love has.

Taehyung wondered how it would be if Jeongguk looked like that at him.

As quick as this thought crossed his mind, Taehyung already tried to push it away again. His eyes widened as his body tensed.

"What's wrong?" Jimin asked, probably having sensed the way his seating neighbor tensed.

Taehyung still stared at nothing in shock. Did he just really think that? "Everything is wrong," he stated overdramatized and Jimin stared at him a little confused, but didn't bother, brushing it off with a shrug of his shoulders.

Taehyung never ever thought about Jeongguk in a way like this and that his mind drifted into this direction made him feel so bothered right now. What was he thinking? Why would he even want Jeongguk to look at him like that?

"Please be quiet now. I'm gonna give you your exams and you have 45 minutes. Good luck," the teacher said, the room falling silent.

"I messed up so bad. What does contaminación even mean?" Jimin whined.

"It means pollution," Taehyung answered his question, which made Jimin, who was walking next to him whine again.

"I didn't know that."

"You definitely messed up, because the whole exam was about how pollution due to tourism affects Spain's beaches," Taehyung felt bad for his best friend, but he couldn't help find it a little funny, also wanting to tease him.

"Never mind, it's just Spanish."

Taehyung hummed as they continued walking out of school. "Do you have any plans for today?" He questioned.

Jimin hummed. "Yoongi's waiting outside for me, I'm going to stay with him today."

A small smile formed in Taehyung's lips. "Have fun. You look great together."

"He's lovely. I didn't think he would be at the beginning , but he's the complete opposite of what others think of him. We're taking things slow though," Jimin explained, smiling a little himself, as he thinks about the way his boyfriend treats him like an invaluable diamond.

Taehyung doesn't think about having a relationship or generally getting to know someone in that direction a lot, but seeing Jimin's smile, or remembering the way Yoongi looked at his best friend earlier, has his heart suddenly soared for something like that. A person who loves him so dearly, that a simple thought about him enchants the most beautiful smile onto that their face. Someone whose arms are always open for offering Taehyung the warmest comfort and reassurance, someone who he can hold onto when his own feet can't carry him anymore.

"What are you thinking about?" Taehyung almost flinched when his thoughts got interrupted by Jimin's voice.

For whatever reason, his cheeks turned red. "Just.. being in love. I want to experience it someday too."

"Awe," Jimin cooed at his younger best friend, "Don't worry, maybe your future boyfriend isn't even that far."

Taehyung smiled to himself.

But his smile dropped when they stepped outside and there stood Yoongi. With Jeongguk.

Jimin instantly speeded up a little and walked to his boyfriend to hug him tightly, leaving Taehyung and Jeongguk to awkwardly look away from them.

"Bye Tae, see you tomorrow," Jimin smiled as he waved to his best friend.

"Bye," Taehyung waved back. Yoongi and Jimin then walked off and Taehyung turned around too, as he had to go to the other direction.

"Wait, shorty—

"I don't wanna talk to you" Taehyung spat, not looking at him, as he kept walking. Jeongguk was now next to him.

"I know, but I'm sorry about what happened two days ago."

Taehyung swallowed hardly, but kept his expression firm. "What are you sorry for? There's nothing to be sorry of. You shouldn't have walked me home in the first place."

A few eyes already looked at them as they continued walking through the school yard.

"I'm sorry." He was genuine about it, Taehyung could hear it. Still, he just rolled his eyes. "Good. Now leave me alone."

Jeongguk continued walking next to him though.

Taehyung groaned. "What do you want?"

"Nothing. I have to go in that direction too."

"No you don't."

"Right, I don't. Just pretend I'm not here and continue walking."

Taehyung let another groan past his lips, as he speeded up a little, finally leaving the school grounds.

And Jeongguk was still behind him.

Taehyung turned around to face the ravenette. "Why are you following me?"

"I'm not."

"Yes, you are!" Taehyung was getting annoyed by now. He let out an exhausted sigh. Jeongguk can't treat the situation like a simple game like. Taehyung had been feeling so down the last two days, the fact that Jeongguk was pulling up this act now just simply frustrates him.

"Please... Just leave. I don't want to talk to you. Just go home, I'm tired."

Jeongguk looked down at him. "Are you okay?"

Why does he care? "I'm fine as long as I don't have to see you, so bye~"

Taehyung started walking again, but Jeongguk was still behind him. The younger stopped. "Why can't you leave me alone?! Didn't you already do enough damage?"

"Taehyung, I'm so—

"No, please..." the smaller's voice wavered a little as he looked pleadingly into the older's eyes. "Leave me alone. You were so good in doing that the past year, just please continue." Don't make it unnecessarily harder for me.

"Forget about what happened two days ago, it never happened. We were stuck in a classroom and then after went home, nothing else happened," a small breath left his lips, he had to play strong though. He can't let Jeongguk have his ways around him like this. Do and act however he wants, without taking notice of how it was hurting Taehyung.

Jeongguk stared at him for a few seconds and then looked away. There was this emotion in his eyes, that revealed that he was dying to say something.

"Okay, I just... wanted to make sure you go home safely," the ravenette spoke and Taehyung's heartbeat increased a little by that. He doesn't like that.

"I'm almost home, so you can go." He hopes that the coldness in his voice could finally make Jeongguk leave.

"Yeah.. see you tomorrow."

Taehyung wished he wouldn't have to see him tomorrow. Or is he wishing the opposite?

His eyes followed Jeongguk's broad back for a little as the ravenette turned around and finally walked into the opposite direction.

And with Jeongguk walking, Taehyung felt worse and worse about what he just said.
