"Good luck," Jimin whispered mischievously as he gave Taehyung a last light squeeze in a hug and then a soft kiss on the cheek.
Taehyung just groaned though, not being sure if luck is really what he needed if it comes to being with Jeon Jeongguk and a teacher alone in one room, while they were cleaning.
"Have fun with Yoongi," Taehyung responded. Although Jimin didn't tell him that he was going to meet with Yoongi today again, the way Jimin has been blushing over the whole day kind of revealed it. And the blush that spread to his cheeks right at that moment was evidence enough to support his theory, even fixate it.
"Thanks, see you tomorrow. Love you."
Taehyung smiled. "Love you, too. Bye."
And Jimin went off, with his black school bag wrapped around only his right shoulder, because he says his left one is shorter and it always slips off.
A deep, deep, sigh left Taehyung's lips now, striding towards his empty classroom where he would wait for his oh so sweet teacher and some obnoxious raven haired he wished he wouldn't have to keep up with anymore.
He entered the room, the first thing he noticed was that no one was inside. For some reason he found comfort in the seat he always sat in, so that's where his feet carried him to. He sat down, eyes roaming around the beautiful spring sun throwing its glimmering light on the green leaves of trees and bushes.
Taehyung felt a little eased up with a view like this one and hoped it would stay this way, so he could maybe take a walk later when he is done cleaning the classroom as his punishment for talking to Jeongguk during class.
Curious, he pulled his phone out to check the weather report, instantly wishing he hadn't when he saw it would rain around that time they would be done. Just then he realized how low his battery percentage was. Well, he noticed it too late, as his phone gave up, in the hold of his fingers, the screen turning completely black. "This day can't get worse," he mumbled under his breath, shoving the dead phone into his pocket, crossing his arms on the table and dropping his head on them in order to relax just a little bit more.

"Ayo, shortie!" The door was banged open and Taehyung flinched by the loud noise and looked up quickly, gaze landing on Jeongguk and the teacher.
"Be quiet, Jeongguk!" the woman hissed, getting annoyed. During their walk towards this classroom, the ravenette has been talking non-stop about god knows what to her and she cannot bear his voice any longer.
"Hello, Taehyung," she greeted, flashing a small smile. She is a nice teacher, really, but when Jeongguk and Taehyung didn't stop talking during her class, she got a little annoyed.
"I have the buckets and mops here, also, the tables need to get cleaned too and I want you to remove every bubblegum with the scrapers. This room needs a deep clean."
Okay, she's sometimes a nice teacher.
"For real? I thought that's why our school has people who clean as their job?" Jeongguk said, looking in disgust at the cleaning supplies.
The teacher chuckled at Jeongguk's expression. "The faster you work, the earlier you can go back home. So, hop hop," She urged and Taehyung lazily got up, saying no word.
"Okay, you do the bubblegums, I mop the floors—
"Wait— Hold up, no!" That's the first time Taehyung said something.
"You got us here, shorty, deal with it," Jeongguk just retorted, strapping on the plastic gloves.
Taehyung's lips gaped, but he kept quiet, not in the mood to argue with Jeongguk again.
The silent treatment Jeongguk got from Taehyung made the ravenette arch an eyebrow, having expected him to react different. To react— and not to ignore him and do what he told him.
Strapping the gloves on, Taehyung took one of the two scrappers and walked to the tables. It was a disgusting job, for sure. There are at least ten bubblegums full of bacteria under each table and who knows who put them there.
But Taehyung was just going to do that and work fast, so they could be finished before it would start raining outside and he could still enjoy the beautiful mid spring weather.
Jeongguk mopped the floor, a scowl marking his brows the whole time, hating to do what he was doing, even more if he is doing it with Taehyung.

Their teacher was sitting at her table, some exams she still had to correct resting on it. She too had a scowl on her face, but in her case it was probably because of concentration, or because a student was miserably failing his test. Either way, it didn't concern the two boys, who were just wishing to get done as soon as possible and then leave.
Taehyung was done with the third table, there were around 20 more to go and he was glad that he finally figured out the easiest way to use the scrapper to remove the bubblegums, using this technique to get done quickly.
The ringing of a phone cut through the concentrated silence and both Taehyung and Jeongguk looked to the teacher, who picked up her call as if the two were not even present in the room.
"What?!" She abruptly jumped up, startling Taehyung, who almost stumbled back by the suddenness, having Jeongguk, who took notice of it, silently laugh at him.
Curiously, the boys watched as she began packing her stuff, listening to the words of the person on the other line of the phone. "Yes, I will come over immediately. Okay, see you."
She turned to the boys. "I got a call that my son tripped down a few stair steps in school and is now laying in the hospital," she informed.
Taehyung gave her a worried look. "Is he alright?"
She sighed, still packing her back. "He seems fine, they're just making a check up for concussion on him and I need to be there, which is why I want you to finish everything up and once you're done, you can go. I will come back and check the room later again and if I see you gone, but the room is not clean at all, I'll make you clean all the other classrooms too. Am I understood?" She stated sternly, her voice wavering a little in the panicked worry from hearing about the accident of her son.
The two boys nodded.
"Good," she spoke. "See you tomorrow then," she left.
Jeongguk let out a sigh as the door fell close. "Gosh, I hate this."
Taehyung glanced at him, bot in the mood to get annoyed. He doesn't want to make this day more worse as it already is by starting another argument with Jeongguk.
"Let's just finish this up and then go," he suggested, voice normal, light even, as he knelt down again to scrub away the disgusting pieces of bubblegum.
Taehyung's behavior that day still confused Jeongguk, but he shrugged it off, continuing to mob.
And about 45 minutes later, the room looked all clean. The floors were mobbed, the cupboard was wiped, the tables swobbed and all bubblegums gone and thrown into the trash bin.
"Finally," Taehyung sighed out, pulling of the gloves and throwing them into the bin too, going to wash his hands.
"This means we can leave, right?" Jeongguk asked, wrenching out the mob.
Taehyung slumped down on a random seat and nodded in confirmation, closing his eyes for a second to catch some deep breath, while Jeongguk strode towards the door. "See you tomorrow then, shorty."
The nickname he has been giving Taehyung because of his smaller height, was something that used to bother Taehyung always. After Jeongguk had decided to so randomly break everything off with him— with no typical reason— he already felt small whenever he encountered the raven haired in the school floors. That nickname used to make him feel even tinier and more vulnerable in front of Jeongguk, but as times come, times always go and he grew unbothered to a silly nickname. Him and Jeongguk are on one level, he told himself. When not, he also reassured himself to be even better than him.
Since that is what he is trying to be anyways.
Taehyung's still closed eyes opened when he heard a strange sound and a grumbling Jeongguk. He turned to look to the ravenette who still did not leave, nope, he even hasn't opened the door yet.
And he was struggling to do that; the door was locked.

Apollyon's Curse
Within the pages of folklore and fantasy, tales of people who chase after the dream of eternity, of living forever, rarely find a happy ending. They are either struck by the grim truth of reality, give up, and return to mortality or face a ghastly realization of their wishes. The latter often the worse fate, as they come to realize, only far too late, that what they sacrificed was worth far more than the time they gained. Ultimately, the common thread in these stories is that “immortality is as much a curse as it is a blessing”. People either realize it early and give up or are doomed to inevitably face its consequences. In the world Enrich lives in, that saying does hold merit. Every pathway towards eternal life has shackles of its own. They bring those high above down to the ground, evening the playing field. It is thanks to these fundamental laws that ambitious mortals are able to defy the heavens and achieve immortality themselves. The variety of methods result in each of these bindings varying in intensity and degree of freedom. Enrich’s path doesn't break this trend. Though, after what he did to himself, most wouldn’t even consider him a living thing anymore. On the day of his ascension, a world’s worth of souls were melted and recast. On that day, the human’s path had reached its conclusion, recast into Apollyon. An artifact, a weapon, is eternal, after all. As for the curse? The payment will be made, as it must. So why not offload the curse to someone else? Mortals throw their lives away for all manner of petty reasons, noble or otherwise, especially in desperation. Eventually, someone will be willing to foot the bill. Most will if given the chance. The bait is far too tempting, after all. Power, status, knowledge. All at their fingertips. If only they say “yes”. And Apollyon is very willing to help any lost souls. If they give up everything in return, of course.

Black Wind, White Lotus
In this world, there are haves and have nots. The former are pureblooded humans, some of whom are capable of manipulating qi, the mysterious energy that flows through every living creature, to miraculous results that defy the laws of nature and physics. Wen Feili was one such cultivator. However, she allied with the have nots- the anthropomorphic hybrids incapable of channeling qi-and dabbled in forbidden demonic arts, seeking to change the very composition of reality. This did not end well for her, and she was consumed by her own flames. A decade later, far in the northwestern mountains, her daughter Wen Fengli is working as a lowly servant of the minor Shuangshan sect. In between sweeping the floor and avoiding bullies, she secretly trains with a wooden sword, hoping to become a warrior cultivator at some point in the future. However, since she's part-human, part-wolf, it's just a pipe dream. ....or so she bitterly thought. However, one day a mysterious amulet that belonged to her mother falls into her hands. A deranged old master, a terrible conspiracy, a mysterious past? None of that matters to tomboyish wolfgirl, who only seeks to become stronger. She embarks on a journey of adventure and self-discovery, towards the mysterious southern lands where pure demi-humans are said to live...as spectre of war once again envelops the world of man. This is a Chinese-themed fantasy story set in a fictional world. You can classify it as xianxia, if you wish, but it's a rather low fantasy variant; the heavenly realm is silent, no one reached immortality in generations, and magical artifacts of old are locked away and feared. Magical beasts and spirits have been driven to the corners of civilisation, and "ordinary" abilities such as flying or controlling swords through telekinesis are considered spectacular feats. The main plot of this book revolves around a kemonomimi girl who seeks power, no matter the cost. This story also features multiple character pov, and will not always follow the perspective of the mc- there are two major plotlines, one connected to conspiracy and war ongoing in the political background of the presented world, and the other focusing on the main character's physical and metaphorical journey.
