《Hooks Raven{Peter Pan}》Chapter 16

*Peter Pans POV *
With only a few days to go until Ravens birthday and of course Christmas, the preparations were under way.
The camp had to be cleaned, a long table was set out with over one hundred chairs for all the lost boys, decorations were put up and a huge meal was made as well as a birthday cake.
Everyone was helping out in some way. Hunter was making the food with some of the other lost boys, jasper had offered to go into the woods to finf some wood for making tables and Wendy, John, Michael and Raven were putting decorations up. They hung tinsle and ivy and Holly berries up everywhere and they had even found a huge Christmas tree to decorate.
The camp was looking amazing and with only three days to go, the excitement was building up.
I had just stood back for a minute to observe the work when I heard someone land beside me. I turned around expecting to see Raven but when I turned around, I saw Edward.
"Hey Peter you lazy lump. Shouldn't you be helping?" He asked walking over.
"Edward! It's been way too long. How are you?" I asked, walking up to him and giving him a hug. Edward was my best friend in Neverland. We had grown up together. Posa had trained both of us before setting us in charge of the lost boys when she left. He was currently on the other side of the island training the new lost boys who came here. He would then drop them over here where they would live.
"I'm good Peter. How is everyone? I heard Hooks daughter resides here. Maria flew over to the fairy village one day and told me." Edward said looking around.
"Oh well yes she is here. She is currently putting up some decorations with Wendy. You remember Wendy don't you?" I asked smirking at him.
"Yes Pan I remember Wendy. Can we drop it now?" Edward asked. He had a bit of a crush on Wendy after the last time they met.

"Fine, fine. I'll drop it. For now. Anyway do you want to meet Raven?" I asked him.
"Sure lead the way." He said as we started walking over to the table where all of the preparations were taking place.
"So tell me everything I missed. I haven't been here in ages. What have I missed?" Edward asked putting his hand out for Maria to sit on.
"Well you already know about Raven which is kind of the biggest thing, Hunter managed to actually kill his first animal-" I started.
"Hold on a second. Hunter? As in the one who can barely crush pixen dust? What did he kill?" Edward interrupted.
"He killed a rat. It had snuck into the kitchen and few days ago and tried to eat everything so he threw a saucepan at it and crushed his head. He needed a lot of herbal tea to calm his poor nerves. But he's fine now." I said as we reached the foot of the Christmas tree.
"Raven! Are you up there?" I called up.
"No!" Raven shouted back. I chuckled.
"She's a bit stubborn ad you can see. Oh well I guess we can just fly up." I said jumping into the air and flying up the tree.
"Oh Raven berry! Come out, come out wherever you are. We have a visitor." I called as I flew up the tree. When I said it was a big tree I meant that it was a big tree. As in you could barely see the top from the floor.
"I can't. I'm very busy." Raven called back.
At latest we reached the top of the tree. Raven was perched on the top with her hands together as if she was praying.
"Raven? What are you doing?" I asked staring at her.
"Well until Wendy comes back with the angel which fell off the tree, I have to be the stand in." She replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Oh okay then. Well this is Edward. He's my friend from the other side of the island." I said pointing at Edward who waved to her.

"Ohhhhh. I know who Edward is. He's the one who trains the new lost boys. I was wondering when I'd get to meet him." Raven said hopping down from her little perch.
"Hi nice to meet you I'm Raven." She said shaking Edwards hand.
"Nice to meet you Raven." He said smiling at her.
"Oh excuse me for a second. I'll be right back." Raven said suddenly flying down the side of the tree.
"What was that about?" Edward asked me.
"I honestly don't have a clue." I replied. Suddenly Raven came flying back up the tree with a big fairy in tow. Wendy was helping her with it. They perched on the top of the tree and stood back to admire their work.
"Looks good don't you think." Raven said walking over and standing next to me. I put my arm around her shoulder.
"It's sure does. How did you make it?" I asked.
"Well technically Wendy made it. She sewed it together. I just collected the leaves and materials for it." She replied.
"Actually speaking of Wendy." I said walking over to Edward. "Eddie, this is Wendy. You remember her from Last year don't you?"
"Hello Wendy. It's good to see you again. He said blushing slightly.
"You too Edward. How are you?" Wendy replied also blushing.
"When are these two getting together? It's killing me here." Raven whispered in my ear.
"Oh you didn't know?" I asked surprised.
"What? What's going on?" Raven whispered."They are together. Edward asked her to be his girlfriend the day before she left. Until then the whole visit was incredibly awkward." I replied.
"Oh. So why are they acting all awkward now?" She asked.
"Well they haven't seen each other in at least two years so it's bound to be a bit awkward."
"Still this is killing me. Just kiss her already before I die!" Raven whisper-shouted.
"Raven! Be quiet. They could hear you!" I whisper-shouted back.
"Uh. Any way Edward! How long will you be staying? You'd better not be leaving tomorrow." Raven said breaking the awkward silence.
"Oh well I can stay for as long as you want. There are no new lost boys to train at the moment so I can stay here if that's okay." He replied.
"Great! You can stay in Peters room or in mine and Wendy's room or if that's not right either you can sleep outside in the snow." Raven said.
"Raven it's not snowing anyway so it wouldn't be that bad sleeping outside." I said rolling my eyes.
"Oh yeah? Then what do you call those white things falling from the sky? Dandruff?" Raven said pointing up.
I looked up and saw that Raven was in fact right. It was snowing.
"Yay! I love snow! I'm going down to make a snow man." Raven said flying down to the ground with Wendy.
"Wow. I would have expected Hooks daughter to be a bit more...hookish."Edward said watching the snow fall.
"Nope. And even Hooks not really like that. You'll see when he comes to Christmas dinner." I replied.
"I'm curious though. How did Raven get that scar on her face?" Edward asked suddenly.
"Oh that. Yeah I might have maybe sliced her face open when she was eight. Maybe." I replied sheepishly.
"Pan! What the hell!" He said looking at me.
"It was an accident! She forgave me in the end!" I replied holding my arms up.
"How did she agree to be your girlfriend. I can barely put up with you as a friend." Edward said.
"How did you know she was my girlfriend? I never told you." I said.
"Peter you had your arm draped over her shoulder for the last ten minutes. And you're super protective of her. It was kind of obvious." Edward replied.
"Yeah I suppose it was. Now let's go build a snow man. Whatever that is!"
