《Sinbad: High King of the Seas》Chapter 16: "Shocking Truth!"

Drakon cries for a few moments before they see Sahel off so she can retire for the night. Drakon stood waiting and he looks over at Annalise and Sinbad. They were both pretty spectacular in their own right.
"Sinbad... Annalise... we are grateful that you listened to our story and sheltered us here. If there is anything we can do in return please name it. We'll lend all our strength to you." Drakon says.
"Of course. You're part of my company now. I'll be counting on you." Sinbad says.
"Sinbad, there's one last thing... I debated whether or not I should tell you, but it's probably best if you know about my appearance. This strange for I've taken is a result of the power of the household of your Djinn, Baal." Drakon says and Annalise gasps.
"I-I knew it! You were the first to receive the household vessel! I thought it was me." Annalise says.
"You have one too?" Drakon asks, "But isn't that risky for a Fanalis?"
"I do get pretty exhausted." Annalise says, "How did it happen?"
"I because part of your household in Valefor's Dungeon. No, more accurately, I had a metal vessel in which the household chose to reside. In Parthevia, I invoked the power of that household vessel. Then the household and I were combined into one being. The household, which is now a part of me, explained all of this to me. The household vessel uses the experience and strength of will of its user as a starting point, and then advances towards assimilation with the household. This is the solution I was presented with while on the verge of death. 'To sacrifice my body' that was the pledge I made to the spirit of the household. In order to be assimilated by the household, I sacrificed my human body... that's how I came to assume my current form." Drakon says.
"W-What?" Annalise asks in shock as tears fill her eyes.
"I do hope that Baal takes pity on you, Annalise." Drakon says, "If there are other household vessel users besides me, be careful. Unless you want to end up like me..."
"Wait a minute, Drakon. So, it's my fault you look like that?" Sinbad asks.

"Don't be conceited. This is something I chose. It's nothing you should feel responsible for. Even without knowing the truth behind it, you were willing to take us in. That's more than enough for me, Sinbad." Drakon says and Annalise looks at Sinbad when he takes her hand and squeezes it tightly.
"Okay. Then I too will follow the path I chose. The same path that you are walking along with all the responsibilities you've shouldered. Let's look after each other from now, Drakon." Sinbad says. Jafar looks at his weapons in confusion. Drakon heads to retire for the night and Sinbad continues holding Annalise's hand.
"Sinbad?" Annalise says and Sinbad releases Annalise's hand before walking to the other side of the room and he looks down out the window in anger and sadness for Drakon.
"Sin, do you really intend to put your trust in Drakon and that Princess?" Hinahoho asks, "That girl bears a grudge against you. It's completely unjustified and I simply cannon accept it."
"Frankly, I object. Sindria Trading Company had only just gotten on the right track. Our whole future lies ahead of us. I understand how you feel, but their very existence will cause a disturbance to those around them. If you intend to shelter them, you should do it somewhere else. For example, we could see if we can send them to one of our allied countries as guests." Jafar suggests.
"Yeah, I'll fire them all here at the company." Sinbad says.
"Uh huh. Yes, that's good." Jafar says before it registers, "WHAT?!"
"Jafar, Sindria Trading Company has really grown, huh?" Sinbad asks.
"Yes, well... we've become a prominent company here in Napolia, but—" Jafar says.
"I believe that it's all because of the people we have encountered up until now. If even one person was missing, it wouldn't have worked. It's because of our friends and allies that we've made it this far. But beyond that, I can feel this power around us, like it's some sort of current..." Sinbad says.
'I can see it... because I can see the flow of all the currents turning towards me.' Sinbad's thoughts say, 'Old friends reunited, the teacher who shared his guidance and looked after Annalise and I... everyone we've met up until now has become an ally, but they all came together because of the flow of a single destiny. That destiny... I'm being guided by destiny! I'm someone special...'

Sinbad and Annalise were only 16 years old at this time. That self-confidence might just have been the arrogance of youth. However, both Sinbad and his surroundings would be swallowed by destiny's unpredictable ever changing flow.
Sinbad heads out of his room and down the hall, he stops when Annalise's door opens.
"Morning." Sinbad says, "How'd you sleep?"
"I'm used to sleeping on the boat in the bunk beside you." Annalise says.
"You could just sleep with me then." Sinbad says.
"Yeah, I think Jafar would get suspicious then." Annalise says as they walk together.
"Yeah, I suppose. Why are we hiding it from him again?" Sinbad asks.
"He thinks I deserve better than you." Annalise says.
"I see." Sinbad says, "That little brat."
"Good morning, Lord Sinbad!" A voice says and they look over, "Ah... Um..."
"Lady Annalise is what you can call her." Sinbad says.
"Y-Yes! My apologies, Lady Annalise. I, Tamira, wish to thank you for granting us food and lodging!" The girl, Tamira says.
"Did you sleep well, young lady?" Sinbad says.
"Tamira, there's no need to speak of last night, because we're going to let you stay as long as you'd like." Annalise says.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Tamira asks.
"Just ask Drakon." Sinbad says and he smiles at Serendine. She blushes as she wasn't sure what to say and she takes off. Annalise blinks confused.
"She better not be falling in love with you." Annalise says.
"That's the first thing that comes to mind?" Sinbad asks.
"Yes." Annalise says, "Just look at you."
"I can't help I was born with dashing good looks." Sinbad says.
"It's Badr and Esra's fault. Too good looking parents and you pop out." Annalise says with a sigh. She looks over as they hear noise coming from out front.
"Uh..." Annalise says.
"What's going on? It seems awfully noisy out front." Sinbad says.
"Yeah, it does." Annalise says and they head out front into the shop. Annalise's eyes widen as they saw guards everywhere.
"Royal guards." Annalise says.
"Why are they here?" Sinbad asks.
"Why, you ask? What are you saying, after repeatedly ignoring our notices?!" One guy says.
"We've finally caught you! Building such a huge company... there had to be something fishy going on... and anyway, we thought you were suspicious from the very beginning." The other guy says.
"After all, you guys are the ones who set up an unauthorized street stall and made money telling stories. We haven't forgotten any of that." The first guy says.
"I'm sorry... Do we... know you?" Annalise asks.
"What sort of notice are you talking about? I don't recall seeing anything like that." Jafar says.
"HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?!" The guys say in unison, "In spite of the fact that Sindria Trading Company has accumulated a huge amount of debt, you have yet to repay even a single coin and the deadline is today!"
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Annalise asks angrily.
"It's true!" The guys say in unison, "So, we've come here today to seize your company in compensation for the loans you defaulted on! It's your own fault for not paying anything despite receiving countless notices."
"Wait... I don't remember any loans!" Sinbad says.
"That's right. There must be some sort of mistake!" Jafar says.
"I have a contract!" The guy says.
"He's right." Sinbad says.
"And that looks just like our seal." Mahad says.
"Who could have done this?" Jafar says.
"I think it's the one crying in hiding over there." Annalise says. She growls as she walks over angrily to Vittel.
"It's over... I've been found out by Sinbad, Annalise and everyone else... I'm finished." Vittel says.
"It can't be..." Sinbad says, "Vittel, itwas you?!" Vittel looks up to see a very angry Annalise and he continues cryingin shock for his life.

Humans Are Evil (completed)
A world of magic, where empires rise and fall, and where civilization is never safe from the perpetual menace of the monsters that roam the land. In this volatile landscape Fera is reborn and must adapt to this new and ever-changing world. She will grasp at whatever opportunities she finds to escape her unfortunate birth as an orphan. Either excelling, or wallowing in self-pity, Fera will question if this world of magic was as fantastical as she initially thought. Note: The story is technically a litRPG, but much less like a game and more akin to real life, for example obtaining a class does not give free skills to the individual, it’s the other way around! Skills are what unlock your class, so an individual who learns magic skills will unlock mage classes, classes then provide passive buffs and stats, in my opinion this makes everything feel more earned so that the power levels in the world are more natural, rather than every single random person being a powerhouse.
