《Sinbad: High King of the Seas》Chapter 7: "Sinbad the Merchant!"

The boat is shown and Annalise sits looking around at things to make sure everything on the boat was in order.
"It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Jafar, I'm a merchant. It would be an honor if you could stock our products at your lovely store. What the heck am I saying?!" Jafar asks, "I've had enough old hag!" Jafar gets hit in the head by the woman that Hinahoho brought with him. Her name was Rurumu.
"Jafar, do mind your manners." Annalise says and Jafar looks at her and blushes.
"How many times do I have to remind you? When you address a mature lady call them "Miss" or "Madam" We're part of Imuchakk's official merchant crew led by Sinbad and Annalise. Our everyday conduct will help build a strong reliable relationship." The woman says.
"Hey! I know your teaching him manners, but stop hitting him!" Annalise says, runs over and hugs Jafar protectively.
"Fine." The woman says.
"I'm getting yelled at too! Why does Jafar get all your hugs?!" Sinbad complains. The two currently had new outfits. Sinbad's current outfit was much different from his previous ones. Over his regular white robe; he had a pinkish, purple vest on. Over his left shoulder was a green sash that he had wrapped around his waist then hung down by his left leg. Annalise wore a similar outfit over her outfit given to her by Baal except no sash, the top remained the same with an open vest, but she wore pants over the bottom of the outfit. Rurumu and Hina had set up the outfit so that there'd be less of Annalise's body showing; to which Sinbad and Jafar agreed that she should hide. She had her hair tied up in a braid with a shawl hiding the color.
"He's cuter then you." She says with a blank expression on her face. She watches as they work for hours on learning things and the woman carries out food.
"Lunch time!" The woman says with a smile.
After everyone finishes, Sinbad and Jafar can eat. They use their table manners, but end up getting yelled at.
A few days pass and they make it to a new port. Annalise and Sinbad climb to the top of the sail and look at the port.
"It's so pretty." Annalise says.
"Yeah, it is." Sinbad says, "The Reim Empire."
The Reim Empire is a powerful nation with the world's largest territory. Napolia was the most populated business municipal next to Remano, the capital. The scale of its economy surpasses even the great maritime nation, Balbadd. The city is the leading financial center for the world's economy. Sinbad stands on the walk to head down onto the docks and Annalise walks behind him.
"We've finally reached the Reim Empire." Sinbad says and his thoughts go to Darius telling him stories, "Let's get to business!"

Sinbad flirts with a girl causing her to be affected by his charm and Annalise glares at him with her arms crossed. All the girls go crazy over Sinbad then he gasps.
"I'm getting an odd feeling." Sinbad says shocked and then looks over at Annalise and he gulps.
They get told they can't sell things without permission and a guy claiming to be part of the Merchant Union buys everything and leaves them a big bag of silver. Sinbad and Annalise watch the guy pull away while Jafar, Hinahoho and Vittel cheer about it.
Later that night, they find their products being sold as a higher price. When they tell Rurumu the news she was upset to find out they were swindled. The group wonders what they will do next and Sinbad declares they will join the merchant union so they can sell things in Reim. Annalise looks at Sinbad.
"This is going to make things fun!" Sinbad says and boasts about how Merchants are the best. Annalise giggles as she looks at Sinbad. Sinbad and Annalise stay behind while he tells them to return to Imuchakk for more goods. They watch as the ship leaves.
"Jafar, you better be good!" Annalise yells with a blank expression.
"You better not let anything happen to Annalise!" Jafar yells and Annalise giggles as she waves.
"We need to learn more. If we are going to be King and Queen one day." Sinbad says and Annalise stops waving with a deep blush and Sinbad's stomach growls, "But first, let's feed our royal stomachs." They head into the city and when Sinbad drops their remaining money, Annalise looks over at the guy. She was getting a strange feeling from him.
"You two are..." The guy says.
"Here's an idea, join us for dinner." Sinbad says.
The three head to a tavern to eat and the guy looks at the two sitting across from him.
"My name is Harun, I'm a trader from the land of Balbadd." The guy says.
"From Balbadd?" Sinbad asks.
"Isn't that the world's leading economy?" Annalise asks.
"Yes, and an active city like that is worth a visit for any merchant worth his salt." Harun says.
"Right, we'll see you there." Sinbad says.
"You know, don't you? That I'm selling your goods at a higher price?" Harun asks.
"Yeah, but to be fair that was on us for a lack of knowledge on what goes on here." Sinbad says.
"Your composed greed tells me you are fit to be a merchant. I don't find many merchants who bring their wife along with them." Harun says and gets sigh out of Annalise. She was going to say something when Sinbad interrupts.
"Yeah, what of it? She's a lot smarter than she looks and I value her opinion in everything." Sinbad says with a smile. Harun stares at him shocked. Annalise blushes as she looks away with a small blush.

"Wait, so at your age, you two are married?" Harun asks.
"She's my best friend and she travels with me because we have a deep connection. If you want to consider that marriage, then we've got it bad." Sinbad says.
"Well, I suppose that isn't considered marriage." Harun says, "How did an amateur get goods from the Imuchakk tribe?"
"If you agree to teach us all you know about trading in Reim and the world, we will tell you our secrets from the Imuchakk tribe." Sinbad says as he continues to smile. Annalise notices the small butterfly things and her eyes widen.
"Are you seriously asking me to become your comrade?" Harun asks, "What reason would I have to ally myself with a child? You underestimate me, but why not? It'll be rude to not hear you out."
"I'm more capable than you think." Sinbad says and holds his hand out to Harun's glass and freezes it.
"But how?" Harun asks.
"Sinbad wields the ice Djinn Valefor. That's his power." Annalise explains. They explain how they captured the first dungeon, Baal together.
"But you are children." Harun says, "Who in their right mind would let a woman go in one?"
"I couldn't stop her. She's stubborn." Sinbad says and places his hand on Annalise's and her cheeks turn red as she looks at him and pulls her hand free.
"I am immensely fascinated by your story. Your stories are more interesting than the court poet's." Harun says.
"Court Poet?" Annalise asks.
"What are you playing to do with all of this amazing power you've required?" Harun asks. Sinbad closes his eyes then opens them as he stares at Harun with deep serious eyes.
"I'm going to revolutionize the world." Sinbad says.
"Come again?" Harun asks. Sinbad holds one hand to his chest while the other rests above Annalise's that sat on the table.
"My home country, Parthevia exploits their citizens and is headed into self-destruction. I have a strong desire to save people. But it can't be done by myself. I knew I needed to obtain greater power. I need to create a country that moves the world. I'm going to become king." Sinbad says.
"King?" Harun asks, "Sure, a king may have power, but it's also a burden. It's impossible to cater to the needs of the world and your subjects." Annalise gasps as she realizes who they were talking to.
"Sinbad, your story is intriguing but still immature. To join Reim's merchant union, you need a recommendation letter from a union merchant and a thousand gold coins as an admission fee. It's out of reach for most commoners. But if your motives are genuine, and you truly want to revolutionize the world, find a way to make it happen. I'm heading to Remano tomorrow for business. I'll be back in a month. Prove yourself by raising a thousand gold coins by then. Depending on the outcome, I'll personally write you a recommendation letter to the union." Harun says then turns and walks away.
'This is it. This the flow. I will not fail.' Sinbad's thoughts say.
Later, Annalise glares as the room only had one bed. She blushes as she faced away from Sinbad. Sinbad stares at the ceiling as he saw nothing wrong with Annalise lying beside him as she was his friend.
'What is Harun's real identity?' Sinbad's thoughts ask and remembers how the man paid for the room for them. He thinks about how they can get the money. Baal falls over and Annalise opens her eyes. She sits up beside Sinbad and looks over at Baal. Sinbad gets up and grabs Baal.
"I wonder why he fell over?" Sinbad asks.
"I really don't think he's able to move much inside the sword." Annalise says.
"Good point." Sinbad says, "I've got it!" He looks at Annalise who blinks at him confused.
"This is the story about two friends and a Dungeon!" Sinbad says as he and Annalise stood on top of the building. They get money after Sinbad finishes the story and Annalise collects it all. Sinbad notices Harun was watching and he pulls Annalise over to where they can talk.
"How's it going Harun?" Sinbad asks.
"It's good to see you." Annalise says.
"Consider me impressed." Harun says.
"I'm just glad it's working." Sinbad says.
"This is only something a true capturer can do." Harun says.
"Well, people mainly come because of Annalise." Sinbad says as he smiles at her. She was busy saying hello to the children that was surrounding them.
"It is a stroke of pure brilliance." Harun says.
"I still didn't get all the acquired money though. Grant me a favor. Give us more time." Sinbad says.
"Hmm." Harun says and looks at his companion who gives Sinbad a big bag of gold.
"This is my listening fee." Harun says.
"Eh?" Sinbad asks.
"Accept this from one comrade to another." Harun says.
"It's the gold needed." Annalise says with wide eyes.
"I'll support you dream." Harun says.
"I've got to know, Harun, uh, I mean mentor, who are you?" Sinbad asks. Some guards show up and scold Harun for disappearing.
"Huh?" The two say in unison.
"Allow me to introduce the twenty-second king of Balbadd, his excellency, King Rashid." The companion to the guy says.
"KING?!" Annalise asks in shock as Sinbad stares shocked.

AK - The Alchemy Kingdom
Karl always wanted to be a Mage. He was born in the Serion Kingdom, a fully pledged magic Kingdom. Seems like a perfect match, right? Unfortunately, no. He's just a commoner, working endlessly to maintaining the lifestyle of Mages. On his 15th birthday, his last chance to escape from a miserable life was destroyed when he was deemed to have no magic potential. For thousands of Serion's citizens that would be the end of their dreams. But how could this story be any fun, ending like that? Follow Karl and his friends while they tried to fight against the Kingdom's oppression. Will the system bend them to submission or will they break the chains of destiny? Spoiler alert: After thousands of years, an ancient Magic system will be reborn in the small Caiset village. What should you expect? - Kingdom Building: For sure! The heavy lifting will come later, I promise! Foundation is important, please be patient; - Epic battles: A Kingdom is not built without war and conflict. Who doesn't like good fights? Let's bring some excitement to this novel!; - Multiple leading characters: Karl convinced them to get on the bus, but this is a very long trip and everyone will need to drive a little; - Scientific Magic System: Especially Alchemy! I'm in no way trying to take the fantasy out of Magic. I just feel like trying to do something more logical. I'll probably stumble on a fine line, but I’m counting on you to keep me on track!; - World Building: I’m using some basic concepts from traditional Fantasy Worlds and trying to add some nice touches to make it unique; - Fun?: I'll try to insert some humor into the story, but that’s an experience we will go through together. Other points I find important: Alchemy is mostly crafting magic tools, but it will go a little further down the road. Even if you don't like crafting, weapon enhancing and whatnot, don’t give up on the novel. You might be surprised about Alchemy's reach later. Also, other types of Magic will play an important role here, just not the leading role. ......... Check out my two spin-off novels, Merchant Queen and Harbinger of Death! Both are independent novels, but with the same world setting... Maybe some crossover later... Either way, you can check them to get additional information on worldbuilding and hidden plots... Talius
The two moons of Talius gleam with a hypnotic glow; Araius with the color of a cooling blue, and Kranos beaming in a gentle orange. Arairus obscures Kranos with his enormous celestial body, letting Kranos peek out only halfway. This means that it's the month of Gantelos, the season of cold that hovers over Talius for half a year. It also notifies the residence of this planet that the dreadful Fuune will rise from the deep snow, deep from beneath the crust every night and feast on the humans who inhabit this tundra-infested world.
