The engagement celebration happening in the beanery was soon prosponed when they were called to a scene, 5 alarm fire at a preschool on the other side of the city.

Since Annalise was now back at work, she was now Captain, she had received the call just before she came back to work confirming her promotion and she was overjoyed. She'd dreamt of following in her fathers footsteps and becoming captain of 19 ever since she met him but after the whole thing with Sullivan and her pregnancy she never thought it would happen.

"19 prepare for evac" Annalise said as they all put on their masks and headed in, in pairs. Annalise stuck with Vic, her pair, and they made their way to the south side of the building. Annalise was tired, of course she was, she had a newborn and was up at crazy hours in the night but she loved her job and had to come back to it.

Vic woke up in her apartment to the sound of the shower, this is how she'd been waking up most mornings since deans birthday. Coffee left on her bedside, the smell of Ripley on her pillows, the fresh smell of his body wash coming from the bathroom. She loved this new morning routine but was it too good to be true? Were they going to be fired? She loved her job, she didn't know what she would do without it.

"Vic, are you listening to me?" "Huh?" Vic said startled at the tall man now at her bedside wrapped in a towel. "Sorry I got lost in my thoughts, thank you for the coffee" "Hey, what's wrong?
