It was the day of the baby shower, a few days before Annalise had an ultrasound and the results of the gender was given to Vic.

Annalise rolled over in bed to kiss Rosie but his side was empty, she got up and went to look for him, "Rosie??" She found a note, "gone to buy groceries, be back soon, love Rosie xo" she sighed and hobbled her way back upstairs, her bump was growing larger everyday, after she showered she put on sweatpants and her large crew shirt. "I'm home" she heard Rosie shout from downstairs, she quickly went down stairs and hugged him "I missed you!!" He stroked her hair and handed her a box, "whats this?" "Open it" he said, she sat down on the couch and he sat next to her, she undid the ribbon and took the lid of, "oh my god it's gorgeous!" She said as she pulled a red dress out of the box, " for the baby shower" he said, she kissed him "I love it, thank you baby"

Annalise was sitting on the end of the bed, putting on her nude heels when Rosie came out of the bathroom with just a towel round his waist, Annalise bit her lip "hey" she winked at him "stop it, we have to go soon" he said "we have time" "later" he said, she laughed and went to go put on makeup, an hour later they were both ready, Annalise in her new red dress and Rosie in an all black suit. "Ready?" He shouted from down stairs, "coming" she slowly walked down stairs, her bump making her slower than usual, Rosie put his arms around her "you look stunning" she kissed him and he put his hands on her belly, "ready to find out if we are having a little boy or girl" he asked "I already know what it is" "oh yeah?" He said laughing "yup it's a boy for sure" "we shall see"

At the baby shower, everything was blue and pink or white and there was a big cake with a balloon next to it saying "boy or girl?" Everyone was having a good time dancing when Annalises favourite salsa song came on, "today I am in the mood to dance" she laughed pulling Rosie up "sure but take it easy okay?" They were dancing salsa together when the music stopped and Vic announced it was time to open gifts, they all sat round a table with Rosie and Annalise in the middle, "Here's the first one Annie, it's from me" "thank you" Rosie said, Annalise opened it and pulled out a baby grow that said "crime fighting baby" they both laughed "this is perfect" she said "yeah but our baby will be doing a safe job" Rosie said making Annalise laugh. They opened more gifts, mainly clothes and toys.

When the time came to find out the gender Annalise couldn't stand still, "I'm so excited" she said all giddy "me too baby" they kissed and maya said it was time, she passed them a pin and told them to pop the balloon, "3...2....1" they all shouted, when the balloon popped the air filled with pink, "omg I was right" shouted Rosie "dammit" she laughed "were having a girl!" He shouted picking her up "i'm so happy" she said "I love you both so much" he said "we love you too Rosie"
