Ch-48

Next day….

They discharged Esther from the hospital. She said nothing about her dreams. Nicholas was free. He has no job to do while accompanying her. So, he created a job for himself that would keep him beside Esther. He became her manager. He arranged her work schedule, meetings, and other things. Even though Esther was a bit traumatized, which gradually led to her PTSD. She was willing to come out of the shell and become like a normal person.

Esther couldn't understand a single thing about Nicholas. She offered a job to him in Benjamin's empire, but he refused to do it. He said he would be jobless rather than working somewhere else. Esther couldn't pursue him anymore and let him be. Esther concluded he was guilty of what happened to her. She wanted to say that was not his fault, but she could do nothing. She can only admit defeat by raising the white flag.

Esther should say he was pretty good with his work. He was efficient and punctual. Esther found that dealing with things was not that burdensome now.

She continued to take treatment for her PTSD by visiting the hospital thrice a week, accompanied by her family or by Nicholas. In a short time, she started showing developments. It's not only because of the treatment but also because of her efforts. She wanted to get away from the shadow of Arthur. Her only regret was Reggie. Esther was getting better, with the help of treatment and her family. One has to say her family was a big help to her in this thing. Her father and mother were so guilty, they couldn't help but blame themselves for her misfortune. So, they showed her extra care.

Three months passed by in a wink.

Esther was completely fine now. But she couldn't get close to strangers in a short time. She can touch anyone.

She dreamt of Raudramukhi during full moon days. But she didn't care about it much. She just thought they were some random dreams caused by her stress combined with her PTSD.

Esther focused on her career since she got her divorce. When the divorce certificates were sent to Arthur, they got to know that he turned crazy and yelled that she would be his for this lifetime. But such a pity no one cared about his yells.

Esther was planning to open her brand of clothes! So, for the past month, she was working hard. In another three months, her brand was going to open. She doesn't have much time now. She has to make designs and stitch them.

She was getting busy with her designs, so her manager Nicholas took a lot of burnout. He found staff for her. Nicholas felt that if she had staff, they could make more designs. He doesn't want any drama to occur like someone copying their designs and so on. So, he discussed his thoughts with Esther. They opened a workshop and are now working there. They hired five designers to help them. And two cleaners cleaned their workshop and helped them.

Nicholas picked the people carefully who didn't want anyone to betray. So, he repeatedly reminded them not to betray her. Even if they betray her, he would make them suffer from his powers.

Meanwhile.....

On the other side of the world...…..

"Reggie…." a person called out in a deep voice.

"Father! Reggie was here!" a voice of a little kid can be heard.

"Since you recovered, do you want to see mom?" the deep voice asked.

"Yes!" the kid answered.

"But she will be your mom only if she marries me!" the man's voice rang out!.

"Then marry mom!" the kid's voice said.

"Then you have to help dad! Ask her to spend time with us and when you were with her, you shouldn't ignore me! You should make her spend more time with me!" the man said.

"Then mom will spend less time with Reggie!" the kid complained.

"After she married me! Mom will spend her total time with me! Till then you have to suffer! If not, mom will marry someone else. If that happens, she will have a new family and will have her children! When that happens, your mom would not even want to see you! Do you want that?" the man said as he scared the kid!

The little kid thought hard for a while. He shouldn't let someone have his momma! So, a bit of hardship wouldn't hurt, right?

"Fine! I will help Dadda pursue momma!" the kid said.

What?! Help!? Pursue!?

How did this kid know he was going to pursue her!?

Who the hell was teaching all these to a kid!?

"Who taught you this? How do you do this?" the man asked.

"Uncle Ben said if a man wants to marry someone he has to pursue him/her!" the little kid sold out his uncle!

Ben, who was eavesdropping on the conversation of the father and child, felt a shiver run down his spine!

The man swore to teach a lesson to Ben after he was done dealing with the kid.

"Fine! Go pack your clothes. We will go to mommy tomorrow!" the man said.

The kid left as he danced and sang his favorite tune. He was happy he could meet his momma finally!

But little did he not know as he fell into a trap led by a beast!
