That morning, Integra was interrupted by a commotion of steps and whispers. She got up from her red velvet chair and walked over to the door but as she reached for the door knob a sudden face came to her. It was Alucard.
-What is happening downstairs, Alucard?
-She came back. -His voice was sneering as if he was the puppeteer of this story. He sat on Integra's chair and looked at her, he knew what happened.
-Who? Iris ?! -She became alarmed and worried.
-You should go to her. She might need you ... -and he disappeared.
Integra ran down the stairs with a slight panic. On the moment she laid her eyes on her wounded and fragile sister, her heart seem to break but she wouldn't let anyone see it. She tried to look as composed as she could.
Iris was on the floor, her clothes and skin were stained with blood and she looked paler than the walls. Integra didn't even had time to ask what in the world happened when Callum picked her up. She understood that it was not the time to make any sort of questions.
Callum laid her on the bed and Seras appeared with a medical kit and a bowl of water. He carefully removed the pieces of glass that were stuck in her skin and sewed her bleeding arm and the left side of her stomach. She was still bleeding.
-Miss Seras, I have a favour to ask you. -His voice denounced the slight desperation he tried to hide. - Could you please lick her wound?
-Wh...wha...whaaaaat?! WHY?! -Her face turned red.
-Her levels of leukocytes are lowering and her body cannot fight the spreading infection. Vampire fluids can heal humans.
Hesitant, Seras bowed before Iris and timidly licked the wound on her belly. Iris gritter her teeth, Seras' tongue felt like burning coal on her wound. Slowly the blood stopped flowing and Seras knew it was enough. Callum picked the wet cloth and started cleaning her body. Her face was still pale and sweaty but started to gain her color once again, her eyes were half closed and he stopped once he realized that her blind eye was normal, only with slight signs of once being burn.

-Miss Iris... -He sat beside her and gently touched her face. She seemed to be hearing. -Could you open your eyes for a little bit, please?
She yielded to his request and opened her eyes. In that moment he knew that she didn't saw a thing, seeing was not a priority at that moment. One of her eyes was bluer that the bluest oceans and yet the other one was as grey as a sky that threatened to rain. He was incredulous. Iris mumbled between the two worlds she was disputed: -"It burns, Callum...".
As he heard his name leaving her lips, a warm sensation filled him up from the inside, he shivered and her hand reached his with a strong grip.
Seras closed the curtains, she knew how much the sun burned. She took the wet cloth out of his hand and said:
-Leave this to me, Callum. You shouldn't see her like that.
-What do you know about what happened?- Integra demanded to know.
-I am a mere peon on this chess game. -said Alucard in her office.
-Do not try to make a fool out of me!
-Forgive me, master. -He said almost sarcastically. -I could sense her presence when she was near. I brought her in, I thought you might ...appreciate it.
Integra was in silence, she came closer and took a cigar out of the box, lit it and came closer to the window. It was getting dark and the calmness annoyed her.
-Thank you, Alucard...

Lacraea: The Slow Journey To riches [HIATUS]
Darren was a successful businessman, founder of the biggest publishing studio AoE studios. He lived a good life that is, until he dies. He's given a choice. either he goes to the traditional heaven, where theres no internet, TV , meat, and sex OR he goes to a fantasy world like the many his company has published. Defeat a big bad boss and become filthy rich. Theres a catch though. unlike fantasy games, the people here are not NPCs to be trifled with mundane quests, the lowest level monsters that are usually cannon fodder in games are strong and fight for their lives like any living being would, The harsh economy of medieval times, the various languages and cultures of different races, and the politics and intrigue playing in the background with a war looming on the horizon. Oh and no respawns. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ No OP characters, No chosen one,and no "oh I did something that MILLIONS of other people just didn't think to do". I am also going to try my best to stick with realism. what a guy transported to medieval times would likely do with zero knowledge of cultures or combat aside from a few TV shows. If you're looking for a powerful chosen one who defeats scores of enemies without even looking, or who finds an ancient artifact to defeat a dark lord this isn't it.

The Pet Dragon
Reborn as a dragon and stumbling through the world the MC feels rather disadvantaged. This story is a writing challenge for myself for fun and I'll start with one chapter every day though they might not be particularly long. I did not plan anything out but I have ideas. Freeform was supposed to be this but my ideas were too complicated and I couldn't keep myself from overthinking it. Well, that failed. I will resume this story at a later date.

Vigilantes Make Us Safe: Rebel Rebel
When the world was on the brink in the 1940s a group of men and women with uncommon ability pulled the world from the brink. They inspired generations to come and led to a golden age of vigilantes protecting the world. Times change. By the early 2000s almost nowhere was willing to tolerate unregulated men and women dispensing their own form of justice. The dawn of the internet made operating in the shadows virtually impossible. Everyone thought the days of vigilantes were done but presidential candidate Richard Hughes, riding a wave of populism, has promised to bring these men and women into the light and empower them to keep us all safe. The passing of the Vigilantes Making Us Safe Act changes everything. All teenagers feel like they don’t fit in at times. Ryaan Asfour knows the feeling well. As part of an immigrant family in a country turning against immigrants, there’s a lot of people who don’t think he belongs. The election of Richard Hughes and the passage of the Vigilantes Making Us Safe Act hasn’t helped matters. Suddenly anyone who wants to discriminate can just say they’re keeping people safe and do whatever they want. Sudden popularity at school after hitting a game winning shot makes it even more apparent how much he doesn’t fit in with the rest of his world. A clash with a pair of vigilantes on his way home from school puts things in perspective. What can Ryaan do to protect his family and his neighborhood? Vigilantes Making Us Safe will follow a variety of lead characters including Serenity, Toxic, Hitbox, the Rebel and more. I'll keep the cover image and title updated to reflect the current protagonist but I encourage you to check them all out.
