《Badly Broken》Chapter 11

It's already been six weeks since I did all of that stuff with Lucas. We haven't talked since.

Honestly, I can't really decide if it upsets me or not. Sure, he took my virginity and made me realize I liked guys, but we really don't know anything about each other, like at all. Plus, it's not easy to go from hating each other to being friends in just a couple of days.

Jack was constantly giving me subtle nudges and would tease me whenever Lucas passed in the halls.

Then there was Zay who acted like everything was normal. Of course, I'm not sure if he's pretending, oblivious, or just doesn't care. Either way, I'm grateful that he isn't asking questions.

Zay sprinted out of Jack's car the second his we pulled into the parking lot, running into our school. He had this big assignment due for his English class that he forgot to do and needed to copy before class started.

As Jack and I got out of his car, Jack spotted Lucas sitting in his navy blue Chevrolet Camaro, "So..." He started, "What's the story?"

I looked at Jack, confusion written on my face.

Jack sighed, "I mean, has anything else happened with you two? Things have been awfully quiet lately."

"I guess things are fine. We haven't talked a lot lately. He barely even showed up to school this month." I tried to act nonchalantly, but my feelings toward him were so confusing. I couldn't tell if I was upset that I didn't get to see him or happy that I didn't have to see him.

I'm not saying I'm looking for a relationship, I'm not ready nor in the right mindset for that. It's more of an I'm curious about what he thinks and what hell wants.

Am I simply another fuck?

Is he playing with me?

Or was there something else. Something, I don't know... more?

"Yeah, I get that," Jack responded.

A sudden shock of realization absorbed Jack's face, "Wait, dude!" He clasped my shoulder and we stopped moving. "It's Friday!"

"Yeah... It's Friday, and?"

Jack sighed and looked down, his hand still on my shoulder, the blond looked into my eyes, "Kai, it's Friday. Lucas wasn't hasnt been here on a Friday for weeks, but now he is. You know what that means? People are gonna expect to see a fight."

"Huh. I didn't think about that." I didn't really have a reason to fight Lucas anymore.

"I don't really care what people think, it's not the end of the world if some random teenagers with nothing to do don't get to watch two guys beat each other up," I said shrugging my shoulders, shaking off Jack's hand.

"I think it could be fun."

The voice caused both Jack and I to whip our heads around. But I knew right away who it belonged to.

Lucas was walking up behind us, causing me to realize we were standing right next to his car.

He looked at Jack and raised his eyebrows, hinting that he should leave the two of us to talk.

"Okay, I guess I'll see you later, Kai," Jack told me as he hesitantly left Lucas and me alone.

"Sure man, see you," I waved at him. Once Jack was gone I turned to face Lucas.

We were still in the parking lot and I knew people could see us, but it didn't really feel like that mattered anymore.

"So tell me why you think beating each other up at school would be fun?" I cocked an eyebrow at Lucas.

"I know you're a bit of a masochist and kinda into a bit of pain, but I don't think you should carry out your kinks with the entire school watching, yeah?"

Lucas rolled his eyes, "I'm not a masochist, alright? I know you're talking about that time when I got hard during our fight, I just like things a little rough, alright?"

"Sure, sure," I laughed.

"Well," he began, "We don't need to fight fight, I think it could be fun to fake it. Just, you know, mess around with each other."

I scoffed, "But why?"

"Their reactions are priceless, imagine everyone standing around you, shouting for a fight they don't even know is fake! They're all going to look like fools. Don't tell me you don't find that hilarious."

I gave him a look, thinking about his words. I mean it is kind of entertaining to see the shitty, selfish teenagers at this school humiliate themselves without even knowing. Ignorance is bliss.

"Come on, Kai!" The boy in front of me smiled and jumped up a bit.

Like acting cute will get him anything.

"I know you like the attention too."

I paused, his pouting was really cute. "Ugh. Okay, fine."

"Yeah?" He smiled so brightly, like I had just made his day."

"Yeah," I chuckled at his reaction.

"Why are you so excited about this though?" I asked carefully.

He gave me a pretty vague answer, but it was good enough.

"Hmm," He paused to think, his smile beginning to disappear, "Because I like it. Where else would I get anyone to pay attention to me."

Well, that sounded depressing. But it's not like I'm one to talk.

"How about after school? We can just do it here."

"Sounds like a date," Lucas winked at me, making his way towards the school as the bell rang.

I was frozen in place, little butterflies erupting in my stomach. What was this boy doing to me?

---

The bell rang, signaling that my time in prison for the day was up, or rather it time for me to head to the parking lot.

Once I grabbed my backpack and walked through the door I was met with Jack and Zay already waiting outside my class for me.

"So I heard you and Lucas are gonna fight," Zay said as we began walking through the corridor.

"How did you know about that?" I asked since I hadn't had a chance to tell my friends.

"Literally everyone is talking about it." Jack mentioned as he pulled out his phone showing me all the stories on Snapchat that had a picture of me and Lucas from this morning captioned, 'today after school @ the parking lot'.

"Looks like there's gonna be a big crowd this time," I responded after looking at the countless people that posted about it.

"Probably because you two were casually talking in the parking lot, a lot of people are curious about you two and what's going to happen," Zay chips in.

"Yeah, that would make sense. Especially since you guys have had a couple of non-hostile interactions in public now," Jack says, giving me a knowing look.

We made our way through the doors to the parking lot where I was met with an already large crowd of teenagers and a bored-looking Lucas who was leaned up against his car with his phone in hand.

It looked like he was texting then all of a sudden he looked up and our eyes met just as my phone buzzed in the back pocket of my navy blue jeans.

I took out my phone and saw that Lucas had texted me.

Let's have some fun!

You're on.

Lucas looked back up at me, my eyes meeting his green orbs as a smile consumed his face, nearly causing his eyes to disappear.

I looked down and let out a small laugh as I shook my head.

Cheeky bastard.

Lucas began to move away from his car, taking off his leather jacket. In response, I pulled my red hoodie over my head.

Lucas was wearing a dark blue tank top, the arms were cut so low that when he moved his arms his shirt shifted to reveal his front. In comparison to his revealing tank top, I had on a tight, maroon long sleeve shirt. Let's just say that both of our fit forms were very visible.

We are giving the kids a show after all.

Now in the middle of the parking lot, I approached Lucas, still smiling at his ridiculous reasons for wanting to fight. He's such a child, but I don't think I've ever seen him so happy besides when he's fighting.

As I got closer, the students surrounded us in a circle, sparing plenty of room between us and them. Probably because they know that if they get on the way they are going to get hurt, and I say that because it happened before.

That poor freshman... Well, it was their fault for getting to close when we were fighting.

Completely surrounded by teens eager to quench their boredom, nearly every single one was holding their phones up recording and ready to post online and share with their friends.

Lucas and I were smiling at each other, eyes glistening with excitement as we circled each other with our hands up, ready to throw or block a punch at any moment.

We had agreed earlier that this fight was purely just to have fun and mess with each other, nothing too serious.

Lucas was the first to strike. He lunged out, attempting to jab me in the face. I ducked down and swung my leg out, kicking his out from under him. He fell on the ground with a thud but quickly got back up.

I swiftly moved and grabbed his head, putting him in a tight headlock, slightly choking him but making sure it was loose enough so he could breathe but tight enough that he couldn't get out.

Lucas repeatedly punched my forearm, grasping them trying to break free.

When he realized I wouldn't budge he elbowed me in the ribs, hard. I knew it would bruise, but if he had used his full force he probably would have broken something.

I'm glad we agreed to go easy on the strength, I knew I would thank myself for that later.

I stumbled backward, still regaining my balance when I looked at Lucas's face and saw a devilish smirk as he paused for a second, clearly thinking about what his next move would be.

He ran forwards and tackled me to the ground.

With a loud "Oof," I hit the floor, Lucas's arms wrapped around my torso as he hovered on top of me.

He pulled his right arm back, getting ready to punch me. He cocked his arm and quickly swung it down, aiming for my face.

I quickly moved my head to the side, dodging a blow that could have broken my nose. But right now I feel like going easy on him, he seemed so excited to fight so I'll let him have his little moment before the real fight starts.

His hand punched the ground, hard. His knuckles still buried in the dark concrete and blood smearing on the ground, Lucas bent down so his face was next to my ear.

Before I had a chance to push him away and break free he whispered, "Slap me."

This bastard had the biggest grin on his face.

"What?!" I asked lowly, utterly surprised with wide eyes. "Why? Everyone is watching."

He quietly chucked in my ear, causing me to shutter and the noise and the soft feeling of his breath on my skin, "Trust me, it'll be fun."

With Lucas still on top of me, I brought up my right hand and slapped him across the face. But this wasn't a normal slap, it was pathetic. It was so soft that his face barely moved, it was almost like I had just patted his face.

The crowd fell into silence at the strange turn of events.

I looked into Lucas's beautiful green eyes and he stared into mine.

Then suddenly Lucas burst out laughing as he stood up.

The mass of people were completely frozen.

I soon joined Lucas in his crazy fit of laughter, chuckling at what our fight had turned into.

He reached out a hand to help pull me off the ground. We looked around at the various statues holding their phones.

No one had moved an inch until Lucas shouted, dismissing the crowds, "Okay, that's it for today!"

We both started to move, walking side by side with dopey grins on our faces.

Lucas was right, their reactions are priceless.

We were both headed towards Lucas's car where Zay and Jack were waiting for me.

The group of people parted like the red sea as we passed through, exiting the ring they had created. Once we reached Lucas's blue car I turned around and saw everyone was still recording, completely dumbfounded. I'm sure they were expecting a bit more blood.

Done with the blank stares that hadn't yet processed the proceeding events I yelled in an attempt to disperse the crowd, "The fights over. You can all stop recording now."

They finally got the hint and people slowly lowered their phones, leaving the parking lot or heading to their cars.

Zay handed me back my sweatshirt and I slipped it over my head, Lucas remaining in just his revealing tank top.

We all just stood there awkwardly since Zay and Jack had never really spoken to Lucas before. They used to mirror my hatred towards him, but now that I didn't hate him they weren't really sure how to act.

After several minutes of standing in uncomfortable silence, Zay finally spoke up, "So... you two," he pointed back and forth between me and Lucas, "are cool now?"

I scratched the back of my head, "Yeah, I guess so." Lucas looked at me and nodded his head in agreement.

"Cool, cool," Zay trailed off, the awkward silence filling the air once more. I'm sure Jack can kind of guess why the fight turned out the way it did, but Zay on the other hand was probably just as surprised as the other dumbasses that were recording the whole thing.

"Uhm, I'll catch you guys later, I'm gonna talk to Lucas for a little. I'll see ya Monday." I waved off my friends as they slowly turned around, still unsure of the situation taking place. But nonetheless, they left Lucas and me alone.

"So was there something you wanted to talk about or..."

"Oh um I was wondering if you wanted to do something. We haven't hung out in a while."

"Do you want to come to my house?" He had a cute smile, "I don't think anyone's home, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I don't think will ever come around again. Take it or leave it." Lucas pretended to be indifferent, picking at his nails.

I shook my head, smiling, "Sure, but only if you drive."

"Anything for you, princess."

The smile dropped off my face and I glared at the brunette in front of me, "Call me princess one more time and you're gonna find out how hard my slaps actually are," I threatened.

"Okay, okay," Lucas raised both of his hands in surrender, "We'll work on the pet names later."

His smirk irked me.

"Oh fuck off will you." Pet names my ass.

I had nothing against pet names, but I'm really not into that kind of stuff. Sure I might be gay, but I consider myself a pretty masculine guy, although there's nothing wrong with being feminine, I find some of those pet names a little degrading or even humiliating. They just don't suit me, or my tastes whatever they may be.

I got into Lucas's car, both of us throwing our bags in the trunk. Once I had pulled my seatbelt on I saw Lucas stop before turning his car on.

He turned to me with a determined look in his eyes, "What about babe?"

I could feel the heat in my face, my cheeks turning bright red.

Babe...

It's not bad.

I've been so tired and haven't had any motivation, this chapter was so hard to write and I kept procrastinating it. Even though it's not the best I still hope everyone liked it at least a little
