The next 3 months were a lot to take in.

Jin Zixuan had proposed to Mianmian who accepted the marriage proposal and both are now engaged.

It was funny how nervous Jin Zixuan was, he yelled it out loud for everyone to hear.

Yu Lei shrugged "I'm the youngest Yu, I'm not interested in being Sect Leader, might as well be here."

"By Helpful you mean having to drag you out once in a while and force feed you because you forget to eat with that memory of yours and maybe knock you out so you could sleep? Yes I am quite Helpful."

Lan Wangji held in his laugh as his beloved had whined "Lan Zhan didn't need to know that!"

"Welp, Wen Qing would have said it, anyway, I'll leave you two alone, I'll check on Yinzhu and Jinzhu at the training field."

Wei Wuxian nodded and Yu Lei left the room.

"I thought I would like you to give me some of your purple robes."

Wei Wuxian started wearing purple robes as soon as he got his title as Sect Leader of the Yunmeng Jiang Sect.

He looked beautiful in those robes.

Wei Wuxian blinked.

"Well since we're courting, it would make more sense If I would join you for the Phoenix mountain hunt." Lan Wangji said.

"Well...Sure we need to get your size first!" Wei Wuxian said and he grabbed Lan Wangji's hand and dragged him towards the town to get his measurements.

"Can Auntie make his robes under three days?"

The Woman in the store thought about it... "If you want me to only make one robe, I may be able to do so Sect Leader Wei."

Wei Wuxian nodded "That's fine, here's the advanced payment!" He placed the money on the table and then grabbed Lan Wangji and ran out again.

"Bunny, I can run on my own you know? But if you run too fast you might trip-"

As soon as he said that Wei Wuxian did trip and Lan Wangii caught him just in time.

Wei Wuxian flushed.

They were like this in front of the people around.

A few ladies were giggling.

Wei Wuxian quickly stood up and regained his balance before walking back to his place "Lan Zhan! Come on! We should get some snacks!"

Lan Wangji chuckled "I'm following!"

The day of the Phoenix Mountain hunt, Jin Guangyao could not use any Wen remnants as baits as they all were taken into Lotus Pier or Gusu.

He can't manipulate any of his plans using Jin Wanyin or Jin Yanli either as the blame would directly go to them which would make it obvious, and Jin Wanyin is stubborn, though they can make a good scapegoat.

Yu Ziyuan is in the Harem quarters as she is the first concubine and currently the only concubine.

She would yell at him for being a bastard and is too stubborn.

Jin Guangyao hates to deal with those who are stubborn, they are too hard to manipulate and get them wrapped around your finger.

And he was too easy to get through.

Lan Xichen was a tough subject.

Their relationship isn't the same as the previous timeline.

Since it would be impossible to kill Jin Zixuan without any suspicions going towards him, he needs to make Jin Guangshan think that he was the one that needed to be the heir.

And so he sent his spies to find any object that contain Is resentful energy.

And the Burial Mounds is the only place he could think of.

Sure, Wei Wuxian had survived there but he wasn't sure himself if he wanted to get in there.

He just needs to get Madam Jin out of the picture first.

Maybe he could change the spice Jiang Yanli uses when she cooks her food for Madam Jin, make it seem like a slow poison and when they figure it out, they'll be blaming her for poisoning the Sect Madam.

This was the same tactic he used in the original timeline, what could go wrong here?
