When the Jiang disciples arrived with the heirs, they were immediately brought towards the main hall.

"Why are you all here-YANLI WHAT IS ON YOUR FACE!? YOU GO GET THE HEALERS!" Yu Ziyuan yelled at one disciple who arrived who was more than grateful to leave the place. consider himself lucky for that!

"Please, explain what happened." Jiang Fengmian asked his children.

And so Jiang Wanyin explained, adding a few insults to Wei Wuxian but was stopped when given a glare by Jiang Qiong-why was he here!?-but he left out the details about him killing the Second Wen Heir.

"Is there anything else we need to know?" Jiang Qiong questioned and Jiang Wanyin glared at the disciples "None." he said with gritted teeth.

Then the disciple who was tasked to call a healer had arrived and the healer immediately went towards Jiang Yanli and started checking the burn.

"Are you sure there is none?" Jiang Qiong questioned "You wouldn't glare at your shidi's like that if there isn't nothing."

The disciples chose not to open their mouth, whether they tell the truth or not Madam Jiang will blame them, they would want to leave the sect within this week! They don't want their family to die! Call them cowards but they do not wish to protect this sect if the rulers would be any of the Jiang's!

"Very well then, if anyone changes their mind, I will be in the elders lounge." Jiang Qiong eyed them all and left the scene.

"Well? How is my daughter!?" Yu Ziyuan yelled at the healer, she was still studying but she was the best at burns among her fellow physicians in training.

"Madam Jiang, Maiden Jiang is doing fairly, the burn wasn't that deep that it would make her blind but this would...most likely leave a scar for the rest of her life."

Jiang Yanli was shocked in horror, she wasn't good looking to begin with, average at most, but with this scar on her face? How would Jin Zixuan look at her the way she wanted him to!?

She wanted to cry but her mother was still there.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT WILL LEAVE A SCAR!? MY DAUGHTER CAN'T HAVE A WEN BRAND MARK ON HER FACE!? THAT MAID DARED TO BRAND HER LIKE THIS!" Yu Ziyuan raged out.

"IF YOU DO NOT FIND A WAY TO REMOVE THIS! YOU CAN PACK YOUR THINGS AND LEAVE!"

The physician in training took that as a gift, she will gladly leave in three days after treating Maiden Jiang.

The days passed and more and more disciples were leaving within 5 days.

"AND WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING!?" Yu Ziyuan raged out at Jiang Fengmian when she saw him getting ready.

"San-niang, I have to go and recruit new disciples and some townspeople, half of our disciples had left our Sect and a lot of other shops here had decided to move out." Jiang Fengmian explained.

"And!? So what? It's their problem! Why should you go and recruit them!? The disciples will come here on their own!" Yu Ziyuan yelled at her husband.

"And who are you to tell me what I can and cannot do!?" Jiang Fengmian yelled back.

"OH? SO YOU'RE TALKING BACK NOW!?" Yu Ziyuan snapped "AND WHO AM I? I AM YOUR WIFE! THE MADAM OF THIS SECT! I CAN COMMAND YOU TO DO WHATEVER!"

"MY WIFE? WHORE! YOU ARE STILL MARRIED TO JIN GUANGSHAN!"

Yu Ziyuan's Zidian would have crackled if it was still with her.

"WHORE!? YOU DARE CALL ME A WHORE!?" Yu Ziyuan wanted to slap Jiang Fengmian.

"AM I WRONG?!? Did you sleep with him once? You never answered honestly in which of my supposedly children is his bastard! I KNOW ONE OF THEM ISN'T MY CHILD! IF IT'S NOT ONE THEN MAYBE BOTH!"

And so Jiang Fengmian wasn't able to leave and recruit disciples as he was stuck there fighting with his wife.

The next day, the news of Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian killing the 400 year old beast has been heard and Yu Ziyuan had slashed multiple training dummies after hearing that the brat was achieving more than her precious son!

And the day after Jiang Qiong announced that he would visit his cousins in Yunping for the upcoming week and would leave later.

And so Jiang Fengmian was training his disciples one day when he saw a bunch of People dressed in Red and white.

He was shocked when he realized they were Wen disciples, and not only that but Wen Xu was with them and he was mad.

He called the servants to move quickly and ordered the main family to quickly be in the Main Hall.

When Jiang Fengmian entered the Main Hall he was waiting for his family who then entered.

"WHAT is with this rush!?" Yu Ziyuan raged out Your Daughter is in the middle of her training and your son as well!"

The two were just neutral, they can't stop the upcoming fight.

"The Wens are here."

"Oh? And for what reason!?"

The two had stilled and looked at each other in pure horror.

Jiang Qing hasn't left Yunping yet so no one was able to point out their horror.

"Oh how lovely! The whole family is here!" Wen Xu's voice had been heard and they all turned their heads.

"For what do we owe your visit young Master Wen?"

Wen Xu scoffed "Did your son or daughter not tell you?"

Yu Ziyuan raised her brow "They told me to let them rot in a cave to die. I believe it should be us who should be barging into your sect."

Wen Xu stared at the woman before laughing.

The two Jiang children were as pale as a ghost.

Jiang Wanyin was pale but his face was as usual grumpy.

"May I ask Young Master Wen to clarify?" Jiang Fengmian asked.

"Oh? So your son didn't tell you? My my then, I would be more than glad to bring up the news to you."

Yu Ziyuan doesn't have any patience in her so she snapped "Get to the point!"

"Fine, fine, I'll get to the point." Wen Xu then faced them seriously "Your son had beheaded my brother."

Horror was shown at both their faces.

"YOU DARE LIE!?" Yu Ziyuan knows that her son knows better than to murder a high rank from the Wen Sect.

"Oh I dare Lie? You all should be thankful my father isn't here and made me choose the punishment I see fit."

That seemed to shut her up.

"Seek the punishment you see fit."

Jiang Wanyin turned to his father "A-Die-"

Jiang Fengmian glared at his son "Silence."

"Oh don't worry, I won't ask for his death." Wen Xu smirked at their slightly relieved faces "But, I want his core and meridians melted in return."

Yu Ziyuan saw red "YOU SHALL NOT TAKE HIS CORE!"

Wen Xu shrugged "Your son should have thought about it before killing my brother." he then faced Wen Zhuliu "Take it."

Wen Zhuliu didn't think twice and did.

It was too fast Wen Zhuliu was already hand on Jiang Wanyin's dantian but then Yu Ziyuan pushed her son away and the hand had then moved towards hers and melted her own core.

Wen Xu laughed the the turn of events.

"You just made this even harder for you, WEN ZHULIU DON'T YOU DARE RETURN UNTIL YOU MELTED HIS CORE! THE REST BURN THE PLACE!"

"How is he?" They were already in Cloud Recesses, Lan Wangji couldn't sleep so they had to place a needle onto his forehead to actually get him to rest.

"The fever is still there but it's getting down, he'll be alright." Wen Qing said and Lan Wangi sighed in relief.

"When will he be able to wake up from slumber?" He questioned "That...I'm not sure yet." Wen Qing stated.

Wen Qing was still mourning from the loss of Dafan Wen, they returned to gather the remains and bury them.

"I'll take it from here, you go and take a rest." Jiang Fen arrived and Wen Qing nodded and thanked the older female.

Once Wen Qing left, Jiang Fen turned to face Lan Wangji.

"Here, I'll show you how you take care of an unconscious body, Wen Qing and I wouldn't have enough time to do this every now and then, I'll also teach you how to feed Wuxian while he's like this."

Lan Wangji nodded and followed her instructions.

One week had gone by and the news of him and Wei Wuxian killing the divine beast has been spread and another news of Lotus Pier getting burned was spread throughout and the news of Yu Ziyuan losing her core.

"Can't say she doesn't deserve it." Lan Wangii muttered before he started to get the congee ready for Wei Wuxian to eat.

"Please wake up soon my love, You're missing out on a lot of stuff." Lan Wangji whispered and kissed Wei Wuxian's forehead.

One month later many things happened, Lan Xichen went on to find recruits and then that same month Meng Yao got kicked out of Qinghe for murdering Nie Zonghui, the Jiangs were found and a meeting was called for the second month coming.

When the second month arrived the meeting was called.

Lan Wangji already knows what the discussion is going to be but he was told that he needs to be there, Jiang Fen told him not to worry for she will be the one to take care of Wei Wuxian for him.

When he saw the Jiangs, the news had revealed that Jiang Wanyin's core was fractured, Yu Ziyuan's core melted, Jiang Fengmian's left arm was cut off, only Jiang Yanli was left unscathed if you don't count the Wen brand mark for the time at the cave.

Just like last time, Jin Guangshan wanted to stay neutral but Jin Zixuan wasn't having it.

"Cloud Recesses was attacked! Then now Yunmeng has been burned down to dust! For two different reasons! The first one being for no reason and the second one for murdering Wen Chao, Who's to say we'll be next with or without doing anything!" Jin Zixuan stood up to his father.

"And look! The minor sect has also volunteered to join the war! It would be shameful for our Sect if we do not participate! There's a greater chance of victory if we all work together!" He continued before facing the rest.

"The Jin Sect will participate in this War." And so the discussion ended.

The Jin, Lans, Nies, and Jiangs decided to stay.

"How is Wei Wuxian?" Jin Zixuan asked which caught the attention of the Jiangs.

"Why are you asking how he is!? He isn't the one who's injured here!?" Jiang Wanyin raged out.

"I'm sorry but apparently last time l checked we weren't even close as acquaintances." Jin Zixuan said "And for your information, Wei Wuxian is in a coma after defeating the beast, try anything to him and after this war I promise you Yunmeng Jiang will never stand again."

Jiang Yanli decided to talk "I apologize on behalf of my brother, we will be taking our leave now."

The third month, they all were sent in groups to bring down the Wens one by one.

Nie Huaisang is with Wei Wuxian in the camps.

When Jin Zixuan and Lan Wangji arrived after taking down 3 successful supervisory offices they were called to have lunch with Nie Huaisang and Lan Xichen in the tent where Wei Wuxian's unconscious body was staying.

"It has been three months, when will he wake up." Lan Wangji was worried.

"Soon."

Suddenly a groan was heard from behind. "Wei Ying!" Lan Wangji quickly got up "I'll call for Jiang Fen!" Lan Xichen got up and ran out of the tent.

"Wei-xiong! Here we'll help."

"Wei Wuxian can you hear us?"

The teen in question had groaned as he was being helped to sit up.

Once he opened his eyes to focus around the room he was confused to see three people around him.

And then a woman and another white robed man barged in the tent and the woman went up to him.

"Can you hear me?" She asked and the teen nodded.

"Do you have any questions before I start?" The woman asked again.

"W-who are you all?"

And the room broke.
