"Although you are my master I was given orders to call you Madam Jiang, I cannot simply disobey." Both Yinzhu and Jinzhu knows this, no matter who their master is, as long as it is their master's higher up, they cannot simply disobey.

Yu Ziyuan clenched her fists, they were having this conversation in front of the disciples training.

She glared at them she was about to discipline them but Jiang Qing beated her to it "You are not allowed to give punishments Madam Jiang, it is also about time you take your role seriously." he said in a threatening tone, he looked at the disciples and nodded, motioning them to continue their training.

"Jinzhu, continue." Madam Yu said through gritted teeth.

"The Madam Yu, your brother's wife, was getting frustrated and driven mad by all the rumors that made her name look bad without knowing it was you the rumors were mentioning."

"THAT FILTHY WENCH-"

"Respect your sister-in-law." Jiang Qiong said as he pulled Yu Ziyuan's hair, Jiang Yanli didn't know how to help her mom, she was surprised that she, herself, didn't cower and left the scene just yet.

"She said that she will correct the rumors and make sure they know the difference between her and you." Jinzhu said calmly.

"Is she that weak that she would listen to the rumors!?"

Yu Ziyuan then received a hit from the back of her head "Don't think you aren't the same, 3 hours of kneeling added to your punishment." he said.

Yu Ziyuan wanted to protest but before she could Jinzhu spoke.

"They also have news regarding your daughter's core."

Now that caught everyone's attention and Jiang Yanli stiffened.

"Jinzhu jie, why don't we take that conversation inside."

"Why? Did you do something bad to make us lose face and which was the real reason they banished us!?" She yelled at her daughter.

Jiang Yanli looked at her grand uncle for help but he didn't bother, he was staring into her mother's head waiting for another mistake.

"Not that mother, but-"

"I don't want to hear your excuses! Hurry up and tell me!" Yu Ziyuan said to Jinzhu who was getting worried looks by her twin.

"Young Maiden Yanli's core hasn't Improved nor got formed because she does not wish it." with that simple sentence she turned to her daughter. "YANLI! IS THIS TRUE!?"

"DON'T GIVE ME THAT LOOK! ARE YOU TRYING TO SHAME OUR SECT!? IF NONE OF MY CHILDREN WILL BECOME SECT LEADERS THEN WHAT FACE DO I HAVE LEFT!?"

"Mother! I never wanted to cultivate! We have disciples! The can protect me! I have A-Cheng! Why bother le-" a loud slap was heard across the training ground.

Jiang Yanli held her left cheek with small tears leaving her eyes.

Her mother never hit her like this, she never thought she would hit her, she thought she'd only hit Wei Wuxian.

"ARE YOU STUPID!? YOU CAN'T ALWAYS FOCUS ON OTHERS! IF YOU GET KIDNAPPED AND NO ONE COULD SAVE YOU WILL YOU DEPEND ON THE KIDNAPPERS TO FIGHT FOR YOU!?" Her mother yelled at her.

"STUPID! USE YOUR BRAIN!" She aggressively pointed her finger to her daughter's forehead.

"WE HAVE ONE YEAR! THERE SHOULD BE IMPROVEMENT BY THEN OR I WILL HIT YOU WITH A CANE!"

Jiang Yanli turned again for her grand uncle "What are you looking at him for!? HE NEVER SAID THAT I COULD NOT DISCIPLINE MY CHILDREN!" She smacked her head.

"NO DINNER FOR YOU! GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM!" Jiang Yanli didn't waste her time and ran towards her room while crying.

She already has a weak reputation from the beginning, but now her's might get even weaker after what they heard.

Meanwhile Yu Ziyuan was glaring at her uncle-in-law "I will go to Meishan Yu and you will not stop me!" She said through gritted teeth.

"Fine, they'll be dealing with their sorry excuse of a daughter anyway, I already feel bad for them." he rolled his eyes and it took all of Yu Ziyuan's will power not to slap that elder in front of her.

"Fine, depart tomorrow morning, be back by nightfall, the earlier the better."

He glared at her as if saying 'If you disobey my orders and go nighthunt or escape, I will personally grab the discipline whip and whip you myself.'

Nie Huaisang commented before Lan Wangji glared at him "What makes you think that?" He questioned.

"Oh I don't know, maybe because you're not minding Jiang Wanyin as much." Jin Zixuan rolled his eyes.

The four were at Caiyi, eating lunch together.

"Wangji, how is Wuxian?" He asked.

"He's fine, he made friends with dafan Wens."

"The Wens!?" Jin Zixuan managed to say it out loud "Don't worry, they're healers, Wei Ying managed to save their village from fierce corpses using his new invention and they tried healing the scars on his back."

"Well as long as those Wens don't bring us trouble then I'll be fine with it." Jin Zixuan said, shrugging, and Nie Huaisang fanned himself "So how are his scars?"

Now Lan Wangji was shining "The really old ones have faded away while the other ones are only currently starting to fade."

"Now that's good news." Lan Xichen said.

"Imagine the look on Yu Ziyuan's face when she finds out that there's a cure to her Zidian." Jin Zixuan said.

"She'll be asking for it, obviously, and then threaten him." Nie Huaisang rolled his eyes.

As Lan Xichen was going to comment on that, they heard something from the villagers nearby.

"Did you know Yu Ziyuan got banished from her own Sect?"

Now when they heard that, the three looked at Nie Huaisang who looked at them too "Look, this time, I don't know about that-" a bird with two letters on both of its legs then came.

"Huh, no wonder you're late, your master had put you with too much weight." as Nie Huaisang was tending the bird, the other three decided to listen.

"Yu Ziyuan?"

"Yes, apparently she took the name Madam Yu instead of Madam Jiang which made some townsfolk confused and talk bad about the Madam of the Yu sect."

"How rude! She took her sister-in-law's title!"

"Yeah and now Madam Yu announced that the Madam Yu of the Jiang sect has to be referred as Madam Jiang, or else she'll remove her name from the registry without anyone stopping her instead of just being banished by her own sect."

"How embarrassing to get kicked out of the sect you grew up in."

Now...that was news...the oh so ever gentle Jiang Yanli who would never do anything that will get herself in trouble, had gotten slapped in the face, by her own mother, in public.

"I wonder what she did to deserve that slap?" Lan Xichen wondered out loud.

"Who knows?" Jin Zixuan said.

"What!? What did she do? What did she say?"

The villager asked curiously.

"She said that she didn't have to, isn't it the disciples job to protect the gentry family? She also said she has her younger brother to protect her so why should she need to learn."

"Pathetic, she probably thought I would give her guards or protect her myself during our engagement." Jin Zixuan rolled his eyes.

"Everything the current rumors are true, but did you know 'Madam Jiang' had ran to Meishan Yu the day after it was announced she was banished from the said place?" Nie Huaisang said.

"What happened then?" Lan Xichen asked.

"Probably got disowned by her family at a very late age." Lan Wangji guessed which Nie Huaisang nodded "How did you know Ji-xiong? This was kept a secret only between Meishan Yu and the main family of Jiang?." He asked and Lan Wangi shrugged.

"If I had a daughter like her, wouldn't I want to disown her too? Unless the parents are as sick as their daughter then they'll keep her but it seems like her parents at least have sense." Lan Wangji said before he sipped his tea.

"Alright Whatever, just tell us what happened, I don't want to read the whole thing!" Jin Zixuan said as he motioned the shortest to hurry up.

"Alright, Alright, I'll read the contents, listen carefully."

Madam Yu was rushing towards Meishan Yu on sword with both her servants behind her.

"How dare they banish me!" She was ranting the whole time they were flying towards Meishan Yu.

As they arrived, it seemed that they already knew of her visit.

"WHY AM I BANISHED FROM MY OWN SECT!?"

Yu Ziyuan demanded an explanation from her family members.

"Madam Jiang." Yu Ziyuan faced her sister-in-law "You ruin my name and you dare ask why? You dare hit a child because of your jealousy and got whipped and you dare ask why?"

"OF COURSE I DO! I AM A SECT MADAM TOO! AND I GREW UP HERE! WHILE YOU GOT MOVED HERE!" Yu Ziyuan raged out.

"Ziyuan." her eldest brother called her and she faced him, anger was radiating from his body "My wife, Is your higher up, between the two of you, her cultivation is on par with mine, meaning it's higher than yours." he said sternly.

"Not only that, you were only called the Violet Spider because of your prized weapon that we gave you out of pity!" Yu Ziyuan faced her eldest sister when she heard it "PITY!? WHAT PITY!? I'M JUST AS POWERFUL AS YOU ALL ARE!" Yu Ziyuan raged out.

"You were only powerful with your Zidian, where is your Zidian right now? It's no longer on your hand, do you know how shameful it is!? That belonged to your grandmother! And we all gave it to you! And you destroy the weapon by using it against an innocent boy!" Yu Ziyuan's mother yelled at her.

"You should be glad father is no longer walking on the same land we all are in, if he was still alive, no doubt he would have spared you." Yu Ziyuan's other sister said.

"You AIl DARE UNDERMINE ME!?"

"If you think we're undermining you, then, let me ask, when was the last time you actually held your sword after the Zidian was given to you?" Sect Leader Yu challenged.

That seemed to shut her up.

When was the last time she held her sword?

"You've never picked it up after your Zidian was given to you." her brother pushed "It was given to you when you were 18, have you even held your sword after?"

Yu Ziyuan growled "OF COURSE I HAVE!"

Thev all loked at her blankly before her mother spoke "riding your sword for going to places doesn't count."

Yu Ziyuan glared at her mother "That doesn't change the fact YOU ALL DARED TO LET THAT WOMAN BANISH ME AND YOU ALL DID NOTHING!? I AM A YU! I HAVE A RIGHT TO BE CALLED MADAM YU!"

"You don't, you married a Jiang, therefore you should have the name Jiang, if Jiang Fengmian married here, his name would be changed to Yu then you would have the right to be called as 3rd Madam Yu, surely you have not been paying attention to your classes while you were a disciple." Her older brother looked at her disappointed.

"Didn't you also marry Jiang Fengmian? I thought you liked him? But you kept accusing him for loving a dead woman." her older sister took a deep breath "INCASE YOU DID NOT HEAR ME, I SAID DEAD!" He huffed before staring dead into her soul.

"Surely you should know it is impossible to marry a dead woman, and didn't Cangse marry Changze? She chose him not your husband for goodness sake use that sorry excuse of a brain of yours, even I am smarter than you." Yu Ziyuan's younger brother, who somehow also ranked higher than her in cultivation had said.

"AND!? I AM STILL A MADAM! AND THAT OF ONE OF THE GREAT SECTS!"

"And? Do we care? No, unless you apologize to the boy, you are hereby banished, Yinzhu, Jinzhu, take yourselves and your master away." the twins nodded and dragged their master away.

"I COMMAND YOU BOTH TO LET ME GO!"

But both her maids didn't listen, the two knows they'll be getting punishments but atleast their master didn't have her Zidian anymore, or else they'll be doomed.

"I WILL BE BACK! THIS CONVERSATION IS NOT OVER!" Yu Ziyuan raged out.

Once the three are out of sight Sect Leader Yu sighed heavily before turning to their youngest brother "I trust you can find Wei Wuxian and have him help us in making the barrier? We'll have to keep her out somehow."

The Youngest Yu (who had just turned 20) nodded "Of course Da-ge." he kowtowed "I'Il start my journey tomorrow."

'Nie Huaisang, you're going to love this.'

"Wait wait wait!" Jin Zixuan paused Nie Huaisang's storytelling "You're saying you got the youngest Yu, to be your spy?" Nie Huaisang stared "That's all you got?"

"Of course I got the rest but I could hardly care about her."

"Oh well, it goes both ways, we're friends, I tell him juicy news of Qinghe and he tells me Juicy news of Meishan Yu, anything sect related, we both are not sharing that because none of us both even pay attention." Nie Huaisang shrugged.

"But yeah, should I share Wei-xiong's location?" Nie Huaisang asked and Lan Wangji shook his head.

"No need, in a few days he'll be visiting, you can contact...what's his name?"

"Yu Lei."

"You can contact Yu Lei saying that my beloved will be coming here, and he can ask for his permission."

"Your beloved?"

"He doesn't know it yet but he'll know it soon, Wei Ying is very oblivious, I might as well just pin him onto a wall."

"Wangji-No."

"Fine no I won't do that...yet."

Wei Wuxian waved goodbye to Wen Qing and Wen Ning, and of course the children who didn't want him to leave.

"Come on now, I promise I'll be back! Just make sure you're doing all your exercises that I taught you and you'll form a core in no time!" The children were hesitant but let go of his legs anyway.

"If you do good then Wen Ning here can show you all the butterfly talismans." he looked towards Wen Ning who took out the talisman and nervously placed spiritual energy towards it and threw it

in front of him and created pink spiritual butterflies.

"You did good Wen Ning."

"Thanks to Wei-gongzi."

"Aiyya, aren't we past that already?"

"Wei Wuxian you should go now before it gets dark."

"I'll be back! See you all next time!"

He waved them goodbye as he got on his sword and made his way towards Gusu.
