Staring out the window as you watched the buildings and cars pass by before you finally arrived in front of the campus. You paid the taxi driver and got off with your suitcase, you took a deep breath before heading inside while dragging you suitcase behind you.
Gasping in awe as you wandered in the large campus of your new school, there were a few students here and there just hanging out in the open area of the campus. Your mouth curved into a small smile as you admired the large campus because this is one hella huge campus.
You had been walking for ages once you finally made it into the dorms building, you entered the main lobby where two or five students were chilling at. Their heads immediately turned to look at your direction as you entered before averting their gaze and turning back to minding their own business.
Walking towards the main desk where a woman around her late thirties stood up from her small desk once she noticed your presence. , she asked.
, you told her before taking off your backpack and placing the necessary papers on the desk.
She began checking it, typing a few stuff on the computer in front of her before she grabbed a key. She handed you back your papers, , she informed you and handed you the key.
You stared at the number carved on the key she gave me, 128 it is. Raising your eyebrows in amusement before stuffing it inside your hoodie's pocket. , you said and gave her a small bow before grabbing the handle of your suitcase.
The lady then waved at someone to come over, I watched a girl around your age headed towards your way with a smile on her face, , she says.

, she says, raising an eyebrow which made the latter flash at grin at you before turning back to her.
, she reassured her.
She nodded her head, , she informed you before giving you a polite smile.
, you returned a smile before the girl who stood next to you spoke.
, she asked and you nodded your head.
She turned on her heel and proceeded on the elevator, you followed after her as you dragged your suitcase from behind. The both of you took the elevator in silence, a quiet atmosphere surrounding the two of you before she cleared out her throat but you kept a firm gaze on the door in front of you.
, she started.
You turned my head to finally look at her, , you said before you finally arrived on the right floor. The both of you started walking on the corridors, walking past a few rooms before finally arriving at your destination. Your eyes landed on the sign posted on the door, room 203.
, she says before taking a step forward and knocking on the door twice.
A voice could be heard from inside before a shuffling of feet followed after. The door swung open and that's when I felt your heart drop into my stomach before it began speeding up. The all too familiar of my chest feeling tight with comfort and love that you felt in during your high school years starts to come back.
Especially now that your high school sweetheart is standing right in front of you. The two of you had began dating during your first year in school before he had to move away during your second year when he was chosen to become an exchanged student.
A smile spread on Joonyoung's lips, , he exclaimed excitedly at you.
You nodded before skipping forward and throwing your arms around him, your long time boyfriend hugging you tighter in return. , you mumbled.
, he replied to you.

Dark Skies
It is a weapon, raised and trained for one purpose: war. Instead, it ends up broken long before the battle, losing what little meaning its life may have held. But that might just mean this weapon has a chance to choose its own fate. How should a broken weapon that knows nothing and can do nothing, live in a world of humans? A few notes: This story uses a hard magic system and is set in a somewhat realistic middle ages time period. Tagged sexual content just in case it comes up later. 8 126Candor: The Forgotten House
*** Please read note below *** As a 16-year-old mage from a powerful family, Jayce Candor had known from a young age what his future would hold. As the fourth son in his family the possibility of him becoming the heir to the household was very small. But, with his talent as a mage, his potential accomplishments in the military could lead to titles of nobility and political power. However, on what would otherwise be an unremarkable night, everything he had ever known, the only people he ever cared for, and all of the plans for his future were destroyed. House Candor, one of the six great houses that helped build the Eldoran Empire had been erased from history. By imperial decree, all those bearing the name Candor were hunted down and executed as traitors of the Empire. With no home, no family, and only death waiting for him, Jayce decided to escape north to the uncharted Northern Territories to begin a new life. Forced into situations he was never prepared for and trying to cope with his past, Jayce tries to find safety in a place spoken about only in legends. There for the first time, he will make true friends and find people he will come to see as family. He will encounter strong enemies, build powerful alliances, and become a person his ancestors would be proud of. But surrounded by creatures he thought only existed in tales and pressed by the Empire’s constant expansion, Jayce’s safety may be only an illusion. To survive a world fraught with danger Jayce will need to grow stronger with each new experience and rebuild his once forgotten house. ********************************************************************** Note: The story starts slow. Although there is more action as the story progresses, there is a fair amount of introspection and character introduction in the first 30 chapters. Jayce is the main character, however, other characters play a large role and the story is seen through multiple POV's. This is a draft, it is not a finished work. This is not a story that focuses on an OP MC who beats up on weaklings. At times there can be a fair amount of internal monologue. Some of that may be edited out when I rewrite the story. I decided to keep it in the draft because I think it is better to have too much material rather than too little when I edit. Constructive criticism is appreciated as it helps in the editing and rewriting process. Check out my other story Shattered Mind here
