You headed straight to the locker room to change into your white comfortable tee and mesh white shorts. Sliding into your new soccer shoes that you bought for yourself a few days ago after receiving the news that you passed the soccer tryouts. To match the black and white color coding of yours, you also decided to wear black sweat band for today.
Once you were done, I headed to the locker's area to put away your backpack and other stuff that you wouldn't be needing during soccer practice such as your books. After grabbing your duffel bag and a bottle of water you purchased, you made your way to the soccer field while clutching the strap of your duffel bag along the way.
The soccer players were already warming up when you arrived in the soccer field until you saw a ball headed your way. It your natural instinct so you did did not hesitate to kick it back, however, instead of passing it to one of the players, it headed towards a passerby's direction. Not just any passerby, it was coincidentally your friends.
It had to be so unfortunate that Onjo had to be the one that got accidentally hit by the soccer ball considering she was the nearest one among them in the field. You did not waste any more second and jogged over to your friends, immediately reaching for her and gently caressing it with a pout.
, you asked her softly, your heart beating rapidly in your chest as you practically all the way here from across the field.
She nodded her head and pulled away from your hand, , Onjo answered and sent you a reassuring smile.
, you questioned her with your eyebrows raised.
Isak threw an arm around your shoulder, , she commented and playfully kicked the soccer ball back to one of the players.
, Onjo added, stepping forward and grinning at you. You clicked your tongue and let out a chuckle, , she spoke which made you sent her a grateful smile.

Throughout the soccer tryouts, you can sense a familiar gaze following you around the field. You tried your best not to divert your attention from practice to lock eyes with your bestfriend who was staring at you throughout the whole soccer practice. But you were persistent enough to not dare and break your focus.
Yet, you couldn't help but take quick glances at her direction every time would call you out and compliment you from doing well. You were mainly focusing on Onjo that you did not even notice at first that Isak had already left and your bestfriend is only the one sitting there.
You did not hold back the urge to smile at Onjo's direction as she looked really cute every time I would spot her cheering for you. This is just soccer practice but she's already cheering for you loudly, what more if it's really a math. Clenching your jaw as you sprinted on the field, dodging every players that was trying to steal the ball.
Kicking the ball towards the goalkeeper which she failed to save, earning yourself a goal. Looking up to see your best friend's reaction, she giggled and gave you a thumbs up while you smirked proudly at her direction. You kept on scoring goals with a huge smile on your face as you continued showing off to my best friend.
You really couldn't prevent yourself from smirking at her direction every time you scored a goal. The soccer practice ended shortly, you asked Onjo if she could wait for a bit for you so you could talk a quick shower in the washroom and so you could change back into your uniform.
Onjo pushed the door open to the locker room in hopes that you're finishing already and was about to head inside when she was greeted at the sight of you in someone's arms. Her breath hitched on her throat as her eyes kept on darting between you and the girl. Her heart broke at the sight and was about to leave the scene when she heard you say something.

You gently pushed Lee Nayeon off of you, , she asked you.
, you answered her.
, she argued but was repeatedly tugging on your collar.
You shook your head at her, , you finally snapped.
Those four words kept on echoing inside Onjo's head even when she got home, she couldn't stop thinking who that lucky person was. As soon as she got home, she looked up your social media account and started scrolling through your newsfeed in hopes that she'd find something that will answer all the questions inside your head, who did you liked?
She was certain you had posted something regarding who you liked, like a clue or some sort. She had been scrolling for over an hour now yet she still couldn't find anything. Until she accidentally pressed the like button to one of your posts five years ago. She literally threw her phone on the wall next to her due to shock.
Onjo was practically sitting there while staring at her phone on the floor with wide eyes, , she cursed and facepalmed herself. She buried her head on her palms and let out a frustrated squeal, , she told herself.
She stayed like that for a minute or what felt like an hour before she finally recovered from her chock. She stood up from her seat to retreat her poor phone from the fall, thankfully there wasn't any scratch or anything. She quickly pressed the unlike button while biting down her lower lip, she was surprised it did not began bleeding. She thought everything would be fine until she received a message from you.

She knew that she wouldn't be able to sleep tonight, she could already imagine herself rolling over to her side every five minutes or staring up at the ceiling for an hour straight. She also knew she wouldn't be able to face you tomorrow morning at school, she was far too embarrassed about what happened hence she concluded that she'll just skip school the next day.
And as if on cue, she had received a call from you, she contemplated for a moment before finally reaching over to answer your call. , she whispers.
, you told her.
, she stuttered and let out a nervous chuckle.
You sighed and ran your hand on your hair, , you started.
, she asked you.
, you answered her and paused for awhile,, you continued.
Her heart skipped upon receiving those words, , she mumbled with her eyebrows raised, not really knowing what to say.
, you murmured. , you blurted out.
, Onjo replied but her own voice betrayed her.
You let out a chuckle,, you asked her.
, she asked you back, playing along.
, you told her.
Your bestfriend gulped nervously, , she argued.
, you murmured.
, she mumbled under breath and let out a long sigh,, she says which made you burst into laughter.
You smiled uncontrollably at how cute she sounded, , you confirmed.
, she scolded you on the other end of the line.
, you breathed out and raised your hands in surrender even if she can't see you at all.
You heard her sigh for nth time,, she threatened you.
, you suggested.
, your bestfriend agreed, , she says and ended the call without even waiting for you reply.
She flopped on the sofa as she stared up at the ceiling, recalling everything you had said. A smug smile made it's way on her face and it felt like a tons of bricks on her chest were lifted when you confirmed that you feel the same way towards her. She doesn't even care about anything else right now, all that matters was that you reciprocate her feelings for you.
