"Hehe, I'm wearing your clothes~"
"Shut it."
You proceeded to dry your hair off with a towel. Asmodeus happily hummed next to you, thighs touching yours.
At this point, you were too tired to even push him away, knowing he'd just persist.
"Asmodeu–"
"Asmo."
"...Asmode–"
"Asmo."
"Asmod-"
"As.mo."
"...Whatever. Do you have anyone to pick you up?"
"If I say no, will you let me sleep over?"
"No. I'd probably pick out a thin blanket to send you off outside in case. Do you really think I'd let you stay here?" You nonchalantly stood up. Asmodeus dismissed your reply by rolling his eyes playfully.
"I'll go contact Solomon, then." You picked up your phone.
"Hm, hm, hm~" Asmodeus hummed, carefully drying his hair and combing through it. "(M/n), do you have a comb?"
"Hm." You handed him a comb from the table nearby.
"(M/n), can you please explain why you came home all drenched with someone?" Fed up with bottling their curiosity, your sibling inquired. You frowned.
"This is Asmodeus–"
"Hello–!"
"And he followed me home." You vaguely finished. Your sibling raised a brow as Asmodeus stood up and stood next to you, arm next to yours.
"Sorry, you're (M/n)'s sibling, right?"
"Yes. And you are...?" Your sibling raises a brow suspiciously. You swallowed thickly, knowing damn well you were screwed if Asmo decides to joke around.
"He's my classmate." You answered for him. The champagne-haired male huffed. "Whaaat? I'm more than that. We're... friends!"
"..." You held back a sigh of relief.
"I see. Then, would you like to stay over for dinner?"
"...!" You looked alarmed. "Wait, Asmodeus has someone coming to pick him up soon–"
"I'd love to!"
Goddamn it.

As the two of you sat down awkwardly, your sibling refusing to have you help, you resisted the urge to shiver under Asmodeus' gaze.
You sighed. "What do you want?"
"Did you tell Yuki yet?"
"Tell them what?" You propped your elbow on the table and rested your chin on your palm. Asmodeus leaned back on his chair. "That you ran home in the rain with me?"
"Why would I do that?"
"Don't you two regularly report with one another?"
"Wh– I mean, yes, but it's complicated."
"Complicated because Mammon decided to court Yuki?" Asmodeus shot you a lopsided grin.
You paused, only to scowl. "Don't tell me you put Mammon up to this."
"Oh dear, of course not." Asmodeus looked shocked to even be accused, shaking his head with a frown. "You seriously don't think I'd stoop that lowly, would you?"
"I wouldn't put it past you." You scoffed.
Asmodeus paused, looking genuinely hurt for a second. Then he shook his head with a forced grin. "I might not have made the best first impression on you, but I wouldn't actually do something like that!"

"...Sure. So you do know about Mammon liking Yuki?"
"Oh, um, well, Mammon's been having these weird reactions with Yuki for some time now, and we eventually found that he likes them recently." Asmodeus mindlessly drew circles on the table. "Eventually, Levi had enough of his cowardly attitude and forced him to act on it. So really, if you want to blame someone, blame Levi."
"..."
"...But I guess that's pretty bad news for you, huh?" Asmodeus awkwardly laughed. You sighed. "Well, whatever. It's not like I'll stoop so low as to sabotage Mammon..."
"Ah...ahaha..."
"...You weren't seriously thinking about doing something, right?"
"No. Of course not." Asmodeus avoided eye contact with you, opting to smile sweetly instead. You let out an annoyed exhale. "Well, I called Solomon to come pick you up."
"...What is he, my guardian?"
"He kind of is, though he's doing a bad job."
Your chatter was cut short once dinner was served, your sibling throwing questions at Asmo not-so-subtly. Not missing a beat, Asmodeus charmingly answered everything with a smile.
It didn't take long before your sibling looked positively charmed.
"I'm glad (M/n)'s friends are limited to Yuki only." Your sibling smiled. Asmodeus chuckled. "Well, (M/n) does have a great appeal."
"Excuse m–"
You were cut off by a loud (knock/ring). All three of you paused, looking towards the direction of the door.
"(M/n)?"
"Solomon!" You shouted back. Asmodeus scrunched his face up in displeasure. "Solomon knows where you live?"
Ignoring his inquiry, you left your chair to answer the door. Though, you weren't able to make it far when a hand latched onto your wrist. You turned to face the champagne-haired male.
"Asmodeus?"
"I'm not leaving yet, (M/n). You should invite Solomon to come sit with us." He grinned. Your eye twitched.
"Why would I listen to you?" You grabbed him by the hand and detached his fingers, not seeing the way he watched with a bright smile, a faint pink now adorning his cheeks.
He was practically swooning on the spot.
Your sibling raised a brow.
"'Why would you listen to me...?'" Asmodeus repeated slowly, watching you answer the door. Solomon waved at you with his usual polite smile. "Hi~"
"Oh, you're having dinner?" Solomon peeked over your shoulder to see Asmodeus wave at him from the table. Your sibling smiled politely. "Ah, perfect timing. Care to join us for dinner?"
"..." Your fingers clenched against the door. Asmodeus felt a smirk crawl upon his lips.
"...Probably because you don't have much of a choice?"
- - -
You should have known something was up.
The moment your face began to heat up in a casual conversation with Solomon. Once Asmodeus saw it, he dramatically gasped and made a fuss about it. Something about Solomon betraying him and taking you for himself.

He grasped your cheeks, hands cold as shit.
You felt him squish your cheeks gently with his fingers. Your mouth opened slightly at the action. Asmodeus peered at you in concern. "(M/n)? You're pretty warm. I knew it! How could you blush at Solomon and not me? I can't believe you...!"
"Asmo..." You nuzzle into his hand unintentionally, wanting to savor the cold feeling that deeply contrasted against your warm cheeks. Asmodeus gasped before his hand slipped from yours, much to your displeasure. His arms circled around your waist, embracing you and pulling you closer.
He nuzzled his cheek against yours, cooing. "Ah~ You're so cute...! I love you!"
"...G-get away." You returned to your senses and pushed Asmo away. The champagne-haired male chuckled as your hand was pressed against his cheek.
"(M/n), don't tell me you're touch starved? Don't worry, I'll give you all the love you n–"
"Damn it, don't touch me...!" You slapped his hand away.
"...Ah, okay. Sorry about that..." Asmodeus smiled sheepishly.
...
Why did you feel guilty all of a sudden?
"...You guys should go. I sense a migraine forming." You abruptly changed the topic. Asmodeus frowned. "I'm really sorry. I should have asked first..."
"It's not that." You failed to prevent the words from spilling out. "I'm just not feeling well. See you."
You didn't bother sending them off by the door and just opted to head for your room.
Just before you could disappear out of sight, you heard Asmodeus shout. "Wait, did you get sick?!"
His question went unanswered as your footsteps grew fainter.

You didn't show up for school the next day.
Yuki was concerned.
As they continued to saunter through the halls with Mammon beside them, they couldn't help but wonder if something happened yesterday.
Did Yuki upset you? You haven't even seen their message, let alone actually reply.
Last time they made contact with you was before going home, when they told you that they'd invite Mammon along to walk home. You mentioned something about stopping by the store before going home, so you couldn't come along.
Yuki wanted to have you and Mammon get along then, but the opportunity was lost.
Yuki took out their phone, dialing your number. Again.
After one or two rings, the line would immediately drop.
You were definitely ignoring Yuki on purpose.
Or your phone got stolen or something, but it was unlikely.
"Are ya still thinkin' about him?" Mammon interrupted their trail of thought. Yuki sighed, nodding. "I think he's mad at me."
"...Hmp." Mammon huffed, not liking their guilty expression. He reached a hand to ruffle Yuki's hair, prompting them to close their eyes on instinct.
"I'm sure he's just upset about something Asmo did." Mammon assured.
"Ya-hoo~ Yukiiii!"
A high pitched voice called out. Mammon scrunched his face up in displeasure. "Asmo..."
"...Good morning, Asmo." Yuki nodded politely as a greeting. Asmo dismissed such and crossed his arms, stopping directly in front of the duo.
"Have you seen (M/n) today?"
"Why? So ya can continue to torment him?" Mammon retorted sharply. At the tone, Asmodeus paused, raising a brow. "Of course not. I'm just worried."
"I haven't seen him today, Asmo." Yuki interrupted. "And worried why?"
"I mean, having to walk home in the rain without an umbrella might have made him sick after all."
"He got caught up in the rain?" Yuki's eyes widened, concern flooding their system.
"Ah, well. I should go visit him after school..." Asmodeus muttered to himself. Yuki perked up. "Do you even know where he lives–?"
"Okay, bye bye, Yuki!" Asmodeus cheerily waved goodbye and left, not bothering to hear them out. Mammon clenched his jaw. "Man, that guy..."
"..."
- - -
"Hah! So you did end up with a cold."
"Damn it." You shuffled deeper into your blankets.
"Should I call Yuki for you?"
"Don't."
"Why not? Did you two have a fight?" You sibling frowned. You sighed. "Something like that."
"I have somewhere to be, you know? I can't take care of you." They hummed, deep in thought. "Who do I call...?"
"I can take care of myself, idiot." You huffed stubbornly. "I'll be absent for today then."
- - -
It was quite the coincidence that Yuki had the same class as Asmo right after that confrontation.
The champagne-haired male bore an unusually serious expression as he looked deep in thought about something. Yuki couldn't help but stare.
Just how did Asmo know you got caught up in the rain?
And why didn't you even do as much as read their message?
"Yuki, would you mind reading the third paragraph on page 46?"
"...O-oh, um...!" Yuki stood up nervously, abruptly stopping in their daze. Hurriedly, they picked up their book and flipped to the exact page mentioned. Their heart was pounding erratically.
Though, just before Yuki could start to read, a loud vibration was heard.
Everyone paused.
The vibration was then followed by another.
Asmodeus reached a hand out to his pocket, taking out his phone. An unknown number was calling him.
He turned to the teacher, asking for permission to take the call, preferably outside. Receiving a nod, he hurried outside and shut the door, answering the call.
All the while, Yuki's curious gaze followed his every move until he was out of sight.

It was nice having to enjoy a bit of time by yourself.
These past few days have been hectic, thanks to the whole secret admirer incident. You removed the wet towel from your forehead, flipping it around.
You then stood up out of boredom, the towel falling to your lap. You gazed at the cloth idiotically before standing up to go to the kitchen.
Just as you made it downstairs, a (knock/ring) was heard, signaling someone was by the door. You paused.
"(M/n)! I heard you were sick!"
...
What to do just to get a day of rest without intrusion...?
