《The Throne》38

"Good morning My Love." I say when I see Christen laying awake in our bed.
I just got done showering
"Morning Anna." Christen says in her sexy as fuck morning voice.
"How are you feeling?"
"Well my whole body is sore, but my eyes have won the lottery."
"You've seen me naked before."
"Yeah but it just still amazes me that I'll wake up to this sight for the rest of my life." Christen says.
I walk over to our bed as Christen sits up and I get in behind her. Once I get into bed I lean on the headboard and then Christen puts her back to my front. We sit there in comfortable silence as I trace shapes on to my fiancée's toned stomach.
"Anna?" Christen says breaking the silence
"Yes?"
"Are you sure?"
"Am I sure of what?
"Renouncing your claim?"
"Christen look at me please?"I ask.
Christen flips over and straddles me which causes my hands to rest on her thighs.
"Christen Annemarie Press I have never been more sure of something in my entire life. You are the woman I want to wake up to ever morning, the woman I want to fall asleep cuddling ever night, the woman I want to have kids with, and the woman I want to grow old with."
"If you wanted to fuck again you just had to ask." Christen says and wipes some tears from her eyes
"You know I wouldn't mind you taking charge again." I say
"Funny. I wouldn't mind it either."
I lean in to kiss my fiancée when we are interrupted.
"LOVEBIRDS OPEN UP WE HAVE BREAKFAST." Megan says.
"Ugh dammit." I say then peck Christen's lips.
Christen and I throw on robes then I unlock the door letting Megan and Kate in.
"Hello my sister-in-laws." I say.
"We brought breakfast." Kate says.
"Cool."
"Hi Christen." Megan says.
"Hi Megan...Hi Kate." Christen says and hugs them.
I'm glad they've gotten close.
"How was everything after I left?" I ask.

"Tense." Megan says.
"Yeah...Lets just say our husbands were not very happy people." Kate says.
"Understandable."
"How was you two's night?" Kate asks.
"Eventful." Christen says.
"Needed." I say.
There is then silence as we eat and it's a little uncomfortable.
"We'll see you two at the meeting." Kate says then the two of them leave.
Christen and I finish eating then take a shower together then get dressed. After we get dressed we walk to the family room and we are the first one's there.
We sit down on a love seat and wait for the rest of the family.
"Just remember I love you and nothing they say will change my mind." I say and kiss Christen's temple
Christen kisses my cheek then leans her head on my shoulder.
"I love you too." Christen whispers just as everyone else files in and sits down.
"Morning Anna...Morning Christen." Harry says.
"Morning." We say back.
"Anna have you made your decision?" The queen asks.
"I have."
"And?" Father says.
I grab Christen's left hand and hold it out to the room.
"I'm marrying Christen." I say.
I look over at my brother's and their wives and they all have smiles on their face.
"Congratulations Sis." William says.
"Thank you."
"I'm disappointed in you Anna." The Queen says.
"And I'm disappointed in you."
"You have to see where we are coming from." Camilla says.
"Oh shut up home wrecker." I say.
"ANNA."Father shouts.
"Fuck. You." I say and stare at him. "You married mum because the Queen pressured you into it and I am grateful for it because I have two amazing brother's and I met my future wife because of my status. I, however, will not make the same mistake as you and ruin a family. You cheating on mum ruined this family and I won't put anybody else through that...Now Christen and I are going to go plan our wedding and as of now only four of you are getting invited to the wedding."

Christen said she wants to plan the wedding with her national team friends and what my princess wants she gets. We're also both busy the next few months and won't have time to start planning so we want to get it started sooner rather than later.
We discussed a lot of stuff at breakfast.
"What do you mean?" Father asks.
"You hit me." I say. "You slapped me so hard that when I hit the concert I broke my nose and a bone in my cheek."
"You did what?" Camilla asks as Christen and I stand up.
"Why the fuck would I want my abusive father at my wedding?" I rhetorically ask. "I am ashamed that we share the same blood."
Christen and I walk out of the room and head to the car and drive to her hotel.
"I know that was a serious conversation, but you looked hot as fuck." Christen says causing me to laugh.
"Thanks Princess." I say as we pull up to the hotel.
We get out of the car and head up to the floor Christen is staying on.
"What room is Ali in?" I ask when we get on their floor.
"932." Christen says.
"Okay I'll meet you outside your room." I say then peck her lips and head to the coaches room.
Once there I knock on the door.
"Yes...oh hi Anna." Ali says.
"Hi. Do you have a minute?"
"Sure." The coach says and opens the door wider allowing me to come in. "So what's up?"
"I just wanted to apologize for keeping Christen overnight. Something occurred last night and I just really needed her with me."
"I fully understand." Ali says.
"I guess I'll see you at lunch?" I question.
"You will." Ali says and hugs me.
After our hug I leave the room and meet Christen outside her room then we head down to the team meal/meeting room. Christen and I get our food then we sit down with her teammates to eat and plan our wedding.
"Your ring is so beautiful." Alex says.
"Yeah where'd you get it?" Mal asks as a lot of the girls look at it.
"My Mum gave it to me to give to my wife when I was 11" I say.
"So where are you two getting married?" Moe asks.
"A place in England." I say.
"Wedding party?" Julie asks.
"My sister's." Christen says.
"My brother's." I say.
"Bridesmaids dresses color?"Ali asks.
"We haven't decided yet." Christen says.
"Um Christen." I say.
"Yes baby?"
"Could the dresses be pink please?"
"I love that idea." Christen says.
"Cool." I say with a small smile and everyone looks at me.
"Why Pink?" Alex says.
"It was my Mum's favorite color."
"There is a lot of stuff about your Mom, but not a lot about the rest of your family." Kelley says.
"There is a good reason for that." I say.
"And that is?" Becky asks.
I look at Christen and she nods telling me to tell the team.
"Tomorrow morning you will awaken to news that I have renounced my claim to the throne." I say and most of the girls jaw's drop.
"What? Why?" Ash asks.
"The Queen gave me an ultimatum. Either break up with Christen and ruin my chance at marrying the love of my life or give up my claim to the throne. Obviously I chose to marry Christen." I say and squeeze Christen's hand.
"No offense Christen, but why?" Kelley asks.
"Mum always told me to only do what your heart tells you and my heart told me to marry the woman of my dreams."
"What are you going to do about last names?" Alex asks.
"We haven't decided." Christen says.
"We're between either Spencer or Press." I say.
"Wait where are you going to live?" Tobin asks.
"We have a place here in London." I say. "And Christen and I have plans to look at houses in California."

Wander West, in Shadow
BOOK 1 COMPLETED A young wizard journeys west, through dark forests and dangerous lands, searching for something. Accompanied by a wild witch who has secrets of her own, they come across terrible creatures, hauntings, cursed villages, and memories from their past. Who else will they meet along their journey, and to find what he is looking for, how far will the wizard have to wander west? NOTE: The above synopsis is intentionally written to be as spoiler-free as possible. If you would like a more in-detail synopsis, one that contains minor spoilers, please check out the "Synopsis" chapter at the beginning of this fiction. If you read and enjoy, please leave a rating or review! FORMERLY TITLED: THE GLIMMERLING This story was formerly titled "The Glimmerling", because the first part was a short story of that title; it has since been expanded upon, thus the title change. Chapters 1-8 (30k words) are the first 'arc', if you want to get a feel for the story. To give some context on the setting: Magic is a bit weaker in this story than you might be used to, and we start off following some relatively new magic users. For some perspective, being able to light a campfire with magic is considered relatively advanced for someone who is the age of the main character. Magic can become very powerful - and there are some examples of powerful wizards within this story - but it's not where the main characters are yet. Part of the story is about following them as they learn more about magic. Enemies are also very dangerous, and running, hiding, or trying to talk their way out of a dangerous situation is often a better choice than fighting for the characters. While I have added tags for traumatizing content, sexuality, violence, swearing, etc. I try to avoid super-explicit descriptions of these things. But they are part of the story.

Dear Spellbook (Rewrite)
Live. Study. Repeat. Tal never saw himself as an adventurer, but the call to adventure never much cared for his opinion. Despite his best efforts, his search for answers on the murder of his parents ever draws him into danger. Accompanied by a group of seasoned warriors, thus far Tal has gotten by on his own meager magical talents, but when one day he wakes up to find himself back in his bed of the night before, he is faced with a challenge he must conquer alone. What to expect: This story was born of an attempt to create in world lore reasons for many of the mechanics and tropes of D&D, but you do not need to know of them to enjoy the story. It's a single POV time loop story with slow paced progression fantasy elements. The story is not one of fast-paced power ups and non-stop action, but as it progresses, the action picks up. There is a lot of magic system exploration on a system built to unify the diverse magic of D&D into one cohesive magic system. The setting is an original world with familiar races and monsters but with new unique origins and motivations. The average chapter will be 2-5k words long, most being around 3k but there are a few less than 1k, due to the nature of the story telling device I used. Book 1 is complete. Posting is on hold until I finish book 2. Book 2 progress: The rough draft is done at 141656 words as of 7/9/2022. I need to reread and edit it but Im aiming for resuming chapters in September.

Currant Choir
Having passed out while performing a ritual due to excessive exsanguination, Leon, the youthful son of the esteemed Lumenhart family finds himself back in the world of the living:Laying in a pool of his own blood.Self-inflicted wounds mysteriously gone. And with his head full of memories that aren't exactly his... or are they? "Oh boy." Warning! - There is likely not enough tags I can put up for this novel so please take this frontal warning instead. I can promise you a great deal of horror, gore, chaos and pure edge, but also everything on the opposite site of the spectrum from side characters. To be blunt, the MC is not a good person, so unless you're interested in such a thing, I'd strongly advise you to not read Currant Choir.
