"Do you need any help?" Anna asks one of the staff.

"No Ms. Anna." The staff member says. "We have everything out here for everyone."

It's one of the last days of my time here and everyone, including Anna's father, is having dinner together outside Kensington Palace.

"LET'S EAT." Anna shouts.

The kiddies coming running to get their food and Kate, Meghan, and I help the kids with their food then everyone else gets their food. Once Anna and I have our food we go and sit down in between Meghan and Kate.

Throughout dinner everyone talks and we have nice conversation...except for Anna's father. He just sit there staring at me and Anna.

"He's freaking me out." I whisper in Anna's ear.

"I know." Anna whispers. "I don't want to start anything in front of the children so I'll deal with him later."

We finish eating then the kiddies, which includes William and Harry, start running around while the women relax.

"Tag your it." Charlotte says and taps my girlfriends hand.

"You better run munchkin." Anna playfully says and gets out of her chair. "I'm gonna get you

Charlotte runs off as Anna chases after her.

"They're all big children." Kate says as we watch Anna and her brothers chase the kids.

"But we love them." Meghan says while playing with holding Archie.

"Yes we do." I say as Anna gets stopped by her father

Anna and her father swiftly get into a heated argument which I don't like.

"I don't like the looks of that." Meghan says.

"Me either." I say.

"I've never seen him look like that." Kate says.

Suddenly Anna's father raises his hand then he brings it down and slaps Anna across the face

"ANNA." All three of us shout then bolt out of our chairs as Anna collapses to the ground and hits her head on the concrete.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Kate seethes as I look over my girlfriend.

"HARRY." Meghan yells then she squats next to me.

"Baby?" I question as my girlfriend groans. "Baba can you hear me?"

"Head...hurt." Anna mumbles.

"I know Anna." I say. "Can you stand up so I can take you to the apartment to clean you up?"

"I don't think so."

"What the hell happened?" William asks as I look over my girlfriend.

"Ask your father." Kate says bitterly.

"Christen." Anna groans as her hand searches for me.

"I'm here Baba." I say and grab her hand then put in on my face. "I'm here."

"It hurts." Anna mumbles as Harry squats down on the other side of Anna.

"I know Baba." I say then kiss her hand. "Harry's gonna pick you up and carry you back to our room so I can patch you up okay?"

Anna slowly nods so Harry picks my princess up and carriers her off to her room. I grab Anna and I's thing then follow Harry back to the room. Once in the room I grab a towel and lay it on the couch then Harry lays his sister on it as Meghan hands me a first aid kit while Kate gets a wet cloth.

"Now if you'll excuse me." Harry says and stands next to his brother. "We're gonna have a little chat with our father."

I guess Meghan and Kate filled them in.

Meghan, Kate, and I clean Anna's face up and patch her up then the moment we finish my girlfriend burst into tears.

"Why did he hit me." Anna says through her sobs.

"I...I don't know Baba." I say as Meghan and Kate leave the room.

Probably for the best.

"Shh." I softly say and get on the couch with my girlfriend then I wrap her in my arms. "I got you."

Anna puts her head in my neck as her sobs continue to rack her body.

"You're safe Baba." I whisper then kiss Anna's head softly. "You're safe."

"Are you sure you wanna go?" I ask.

"Yes Baba." Christen says and strokes my face.

"Okay." I mumble.

"Do you not want me to go?" Christen asks.

"It's not that." I say then sigh. "I just get really emotional and you haven't seen me cry before."

"How bout this." Christen says and pecks my lips. "You go alone and do whatever you need to do then come back to me and we have our own date night right here."

"Okay." I mumble then somebody knocks on our door.

"Ms. Anna your car is here." One of the palace staff say.

"Thanks Liam." I say.

The staff member nods then leaves the room so I grab my things, kiss my girlfriend goodbye, then head to the awaiting car. Once in the car I am driven to the heliport so I can fly. When I get to the heliport I get out of the car and head to my already started helicopter then I make the 35 minute flight north to the place I need to be.

Once I land I turn everything off and wait for the blades to stop then I get out of the helicopter. I then walk over to the lake on the property, get in the waiting canoe, and row over to the island in the middle of the lake. When I dock on the island I walk into the middle of the island and sit down.

"Hi Mummy." I sadly say and run my hand over her grave. "I miss you."

I do this every year.

I just sit with Mum for a while and talk about the past year.

"So father hit me." I say and bitterly chuckle. "That was fun."

I lean against Mummy's tombstone and talk out loud about everything that's gone on.

I talk about Harry and Meghan's baby, Kate and William's kids, the football tournament, meeting Christen and her becoming my girlfriend, everything that's happened with my jobs...basically any and everything.

"Well." I say and sniffle a bit. "I'll see you next year Mummy...I love you."

I kiss my Mum's tombstone then I get up off the ground, wipe my eyes, and say one last goodbye before I get back in the canoe and row over to my helicopter. I then quickly do the preflight stuff then I take off and head back down to London. Once in London I land at the heliport and toss the keys to the people I pay to look after my helicopter as we pass each other on the helipads. I then get into a waiting car which takes me back to the palace.

When we pull up to the palace I notice my girlfriend standing by the door waiting for me.

I thank the driver then get out of the car and walk into my girlfriends waiting arms.

"I love you." I mumble into Christen's hair.

"I love you Anna." Christen says then she kisses my heart.

"I miss her." I whisper. "So much."

I know either one of my brothers or one of my sister-in-laws told her where I went.

"I know you do." Christen says and squeezes me. "But I know she's looking down on you and is so proud of the women you've become."

I sniffle a bit which causes Christen to look up at me.

"It'll be okay Baba." Christen says with a smile and wipes the tears from my eyes. "It'll be okay."
