"I know declare you wife, and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

The room erupts in applauds, as Becky and Shelina look at each other.

The older girl grabs the Canadian's cheeks, before bringing their lips together. From the corner of her eyes, Christen can see her new teammate - Julie Johnston - start to cry, and Kop trying to comfort her by wrapping her strong arm around her shoulders. On her own, the Latina just looks at her girlfriend, Mel, who is also moved by all that love emanating from the brides. Christen grabs her hand as a promise : maybe one day, it'll be them on there.

Once Becky pulls away, she brings their foreheads together, but Shelina is the one saying, shading a tear :

"I love you"

The defender smirks.

"I love you more."

With that said, she grabs Shelina's hand, walk past their teammates, maids of honor - that includes Julie, Kop, and Shelina's childhood friend Stephanie Labbé - who are celebrating them, before dissapearing in a car.

They soon all are going to the wedding party, that is set to take place on a beach.

The former and current Stanford and UCLA teammates are all here today to celebrate their two former captains, and without any competition or murderer in the way, you can say the atmosphere is amazingly peaceful and joyful.

Rachel is walking around, not really going anywhere : she was with the youngsters for a while (the other sophomores in Caprice, Danny and Mads) but she soon realizes Danny should go somewhere else. Indeed. Sofia Huerta has been flashing looks toward the middy, and even though she's being pretty obvious, Danny hasn't figured that out already. So here is Rachel, grabbing her arm.

She then smirks.

"Are you going to talk to her or what ?"

Danny, who is pretty drunk - and so is everybody else because the rules of the US don't apply in Mexico, thank God - shakes her head.

"N-no, I mean, why would I..."

"Oh c'mon now, go and engage a conversation with her" the Brit orders, pushing her teammate toward the Stanford alum. She then smirks. "I think you won't regret it."

"What do I do ?"

"I don't know, act casual."

Danny nods.

"Casual, okay."

With that said, she thanks Rachel and walks straight toward Sofia. When the girl turns around, she probably doesn't expect Danny to actually be here, and blushes like hell. The way the two girls' body languages are just shyness and embarrassment says it all : they have a crush on each other.

I'm so good in making pairings, Rachel thinks to herself, before finding her way to the bar. I should use some more drinks as well.

Looking around her while drinking her whiskey, she starts smiling : everybody is dancing, some people are hooking up - hey Jane and Andi - and the others just have fun. Becky and Shelina are sitting on a couch with Julie and Kop, probably talking about soccer as always, or maybe the two girls' honeymoon. Who knows what those grandmas think, Rachel thinks to herself, before smirking.

But when someone sits down next to her, she tenses up a little bit, trying not to lose her smile.

"Hi there" Madalyn casually says, looking into Danny and Sofia's direction : the two girls are now dancing together, pretty close. "You're pretty good at this. Bringing people together, I mean."

"Maybe" Rachel lets out, embarrassed. "But I don't even have the balls to ask the girl I like out, so what's the point ?"

The goalie has a weird look on her face.

Mads then does something Rachel only dreamed of : she softly grabs the girl's collar, pulling her toward her, a smile on her face. As she looks down at her lips, Rachel feels the warm sensation of them brushing her own.

The kiss is soft and quick, leaving Rachel speechless.

"Maybe you should do something about it, don't you think so ?" the goalie then smoothly asks, smirking.

The Brit only answers by getting on her feet, wrapping her arms around Mads' shoulders and neck, taking advantage of the now reversed height difference to kiss her the way she wants. The goalie wraps her arms around the blonde's hips.

They only part on two occasion : the first when their friends are freaking out next to them because they're finally hooking up, and the second time when Rachel asks :

"Would you go on a date with me ?"

Mads smirks.

Lindsey and Megan are standing in the balcony, the taller girl's arm wrapped around the blonde's waist.

"It's only midnight, and everybody is a mess already" the new Boston defender comments.

The couple is spending their last moments together before having to head on the two points in the country with the more distance keeping each other away. Even though they're trying not to think about how they're going to make things work out - when you see Becks and Shel, you can only think everything's possible, even with distance - they know it's inevitable.

The middy smirks.

"I love those kind of parties" she then comments, before kissing Megan's forehead in a protective way. "Plus, I got Mal and Jessie dancing on the bar in video : maybe it's an early Christmas present ?"

Megan smirks.

"And all those people hooking up, for God's sake" the blonde sarcastically lets out, before turning to face her girlfriend, smirking. "Those couples are so annoying."

Lindsey looks down at her lips.

"I agree."

They lean in and kiss each other with passion, as the party next to them doesn't seem to exist anymore : they're together now and it's all that matters.

"Man, I've never been so wasted" Emily lets out, before bursting into laughter.

A laugh soon joins hers :

"Same, and the proof is that is : we're both on a abandoned and creepy park just next to the party is taking place." Gibby settles.

They hear the music and the laughs, but nothing else.

Emily smirks.

Okay Son, you want to impress her, right ? It's time to do what you do best... Wait, you don't have a speciality when it comes to flirt. Ugh.

She shakes her head, as Gibby looks her way.

"Are you feeling dizzy because of the alcohol as well ?" she innocently asks.

"It's not the alcohol that makes me feel dizzy."

Gibby's eyes widen, before she holds a laugh back : holy hell, what did I just say ? Em wonders, blushing. The brunette, who is not that drunk, has understood what the Portland defender just said.

She has a smile on her face now.

"Woah, do you do that with all the girls you want to make out with ?" Gibby asks, smirking.

Em shakes her head.

"There's only one, so I guess, yes ?"

The girl's way of just dealing with things casually makes Gibby smirk : even though Emily's face is bright red at the moment, she is not losing it.

It's quite the contrary, so Gibby says :

"So, hypothetically, if you really like the girl, what would you do next ?"

Em thinks for a while.

"Mhm... I'd probably just go for it and kiss her."

"Bold."

"I'm drunk, that doesn't count as boldness."

Gibby laughs.

"I like you approach."

Emily closes the thin gap between them, crashing her lips on Gibby's. The brunette kisses back for a moment, before they both pull away.

The defender then says :

"Me too."
