《BRUINS 3》6

The moment Mal steps on the beach, she knows it is going to be a great evening.
Jessie is already here, waiting for her on a boat. Great, so I just have to swim to her in that fucking dress I bought for the occasion ? Amazing. But little does she know that Jessie left a mini boat for her to go in and join her. So once she does so and get on the actual boat, Jessie has her arms crossed against her chest, and a smirk on her face.
When she sees Mal, however, she lets out :
"Woah" But then she realizes that it's awkward, and adds : "I didn't realize we were attending a gala or something."
"It's all I found to be honest" Mal lies.
Of course I bought that black dress to impress you, stupid. Not even knowing why this idea of Jessie falling under her charms is making her so excited, Mal shakes her head, as Jessie shamelessly checks her out, before realizing she got caught and look away, slightly blushing. She, on the other hand, opted for casual jeans and a black Adidas t-shirt, that is a perfect fit with her shoes.
Jessie smiles.
"You're weird" is all she says before starting the boat. As Mal sits down next to her, Jessie quickly looks at her, before asking : "Have you ever seen the city from the lake ? It's beautiful at night with all those lights."
"No, I have not, actually."
"Perfect."
The Canadian 'drives' the boat very well, as Mal is wondering something :
"When did you get your licence ?"
"Well" Jessie lets out, smirking. "I don't really have one, America. But I really wanted to show you the lights."
"W-what ?" Mal asks, panicked.
"Don't worry, they never do check-ups. Furthermore, my mom taught me to control boats before even controlling my legs. You'll live, I swear."
Not reassured the slightest, Mal doesn't want to look like a scared little chicken, so she shuts up. That's kind of cute, when you think about it : she is breaking the laws for you. Defying the morally good.
As Mal is still lost in her thoughts, she says :
"You mom seemed to be an amazing woman."
A flash of melancholy goes through Jessie's eyes, before she says :
"She was. She taught me everything I know. How was your mom ?"
"She was... troubled. I was born in the psychiatric hospital she was detained, but then I was in foster care because my dad didn't want me. And when she got out, she only sent me a note with a bank account number on it - money she has speared for my studies - and an apology. And she ran away."

Jessie is looking at her, feeling sorry.
"I'm sorry about that, Mal."
The dark-haired sighs, before nodding.
After an extra ten minutes, Jessie stops the boat, as the two girls go and sit down on the back of the boat, facing the city lights. Damn, she didn't lie when she said it was extraordinary, Mal thinks to herself, in shock. She doesn't even have the words to say anything, so she shuts up. Suddenly, she realizes that she is not looking at the same view anymore :
Her eyes are now on Jessie, who is just delighted by the view in front of her. When the Canadian realizes that Mal looks at her, she turns her head and asks :
"What are you looking at, America ?"
Mal doesn't want to be a creep, so she just goes with honesty.
"You, I guess."
"Mmh" Jessie lets out, thoughtful. "Do you like what you see ?"
"I can't tell."
Suddenly, they both are pretty close to each other, both looking at each other's lips with insistence. As their faces only are inches away, Mal starts freaking out : why are all those butterflies in her stomach giving her goosebumps ?
Jessie, on the other hand, seems shy but kind of confident.
Suddenly, the lights are on them, as a police alarm goes on. Of course the cops had to show up, Mal thinks to herself, raising her hands in the air. The rest of the night is spend in custody because either girl had a licence for boats.
Great.

Tonight, Kristie is drunk as fuck.
Even though it's only 6 pm, she is sitting right next to a dorm door on another building than hers, breaking bottles on the floor to makes herself feel better. Several people have walked by, recognized her before offering their help. But when Kristie started yelling at them, treating them like shit, they immediately walked away, in shock.
When she breaks that last bottle on the wall, someone walks out of the dorm next to which Kristie is sitting. The blonde shakes her head in disbelief : of course, out of all the freaking dorms in the university, she had to get drunk next to Kassey Kallman's.
Ugh, I hate my life, Kristie thinks to herself.
Kassey looks confused for a while, and even a little bit angry. But when she sees that Kristie is about to take another sit of her drink, she takes the bottle from Kristie's hand and throws it away from her. The bottle breaks in the garden in front of the dorm. As people are approaching - probably someone that has warned security that a drunk girl was throwing bottles and injures at people - Kassey opens her door and pushes Kristie inside.

She then locks the door and hangs the keys out of the reach of Kristie, who gets mad.
"What the fuck ?" she hisses, out of her mind. "HELP ! I'M BEING KIDNAPPED" Kristie then starts yelling.
Kassey immediately reacts by putting a hand on Kristie's mouth, pushing her against the wall so that she would be able to block the girl. Shit, alcohol gives her more strength than usual, the middy thinks to herself, trying to get Kristie to calm down.
I don't even know that crazy person.
"Shut the fuck up now Mewis !" Kassey hisses, as the security guards are walking at the same floor the two girls are. So the blonde has to lower her voice when she looks into Kristie's eyes and says : "What the fuck were you thinking ? You are drunk a Tuesday night, at 6 ? You could get expelled from this campus !"
As Kristie is trying to say something, Kassey keeps her hand where it is, waiting to hear the security guards go away. Once it's the case, she lets the blonde go and goes and sits down on her bed.
She then closes her eyes : Stormy Mewis is coming.
"Who the fuck do you think you are ? You don't know me, or anything about me, and all you do is judging me all the time and being a bitch. Well, guess what ? Spoiler alert, I can be a bitch too : I think your bun is ugly, and don't even get me started about the way you wear socks during practice... HEY ! Are you even listening ?"
Kassey has her eyes on her computer, half-ignoring the other midfielder. But when she realizes that Kristie really is mad, she looks up at her, before rolling her eyes.
"Listen, boss, don't get me wrong, but I can't let you go in that state because you'll soon feel bad and throw up everywhere, and I have to finish this assignment. So if you would be as kind as to be a bitch in silence, I'd really appreciate that."
The rage in Kristie's blood is real.
"No, you listen you bitch-"
"Seriously, shut up and be grateful I saved your ass, Mewis"
As the middy is losing patience, Kristie finally starts to calm down after rumbling on her own for half an hour. Now, she is just kind of depressed, shaking her head, her face buried in her hands. When she starts to cry, Kassey rolls her eyes : great, that's everything I fucking needed. But since she is human and has a heart, she grabs a tissue and sits down on the ground next to Kristie, waiting several seconds before handing it to the blonde, and angrily takes it in her hands.
Crazy how she is messed up, Kassey thinks to herself. Craziest thing is that it makes her ever more attractive. She's mysterious, and you love that.
Pushing her inner voice away, the blonde is there to hold Kristie's hair as she pukes into the toilets. She had way too much alcohol, and is still drunk even after an hour of puking. She didn't only take alcohol in my opinion, Kassey thinks to herself. Her dad was an alcoholic, so she kind of knows what happens to messed up people.
Once the storm has passed, Kristie starts crying again, and this time Kassey has pity on her : she wraps an arm around the girl's shoulders, nicely giving her the impression that someone has her back and cares. That makes Kristie looking up at her, frowning.
"I still hate you."
Kassey rolls her eyes.
What she certainly did not except at all though is Kristie suddenly moving and almost jumping on Kassey's lap, restraining her from moving even a bit. Kristie aggressively sits down on her and grabs her hair, pulling her closer. Her lips are attacking Kassey's with rage and anger, but also some sort of passion. After trying to resist the girl, Kassey loses her shit : she grabs Kristie's hips and kisses her back.
Who can blame me ? That girl is hot.
After a few minutes, Kassey pushes Kristie off her and gets on her feet. She then manages to makes Kristie get up as well, before biting her lips : no, she's drunk, she's your captain, you can't do that. The middy shakes her head. Find something sassy to say, she needs to leave before your roommates come back.
Smirking, she says :
"I thought you hates me."
"Oh, believe me I do... But I wanna fuck you so hard right now"
As Kristie is trying to kiss her again, Kassey holds her down.
"Woah, calm down, Don Juan. Time for you to go home."
The blonde is angry, as always, but Kassey doesn't care : it's not in her values to have sex with a drunk angry girl, even though she is very attracted to Kristie at the moment, so attracted that it actually worries her.
When she opens the door after calling Kristie's roommates to the rescue, Kassey finds herself face to face with Julie and Megan, who are both worried. After handing them Kristie and thanking them for bringing her home, she closes the door and sighs.
Shit.
