"Your so pretty." I mumble while looking up at Tobin as we cuddle on our couch.

"Have you seen yourself?" Tobin asks as she runs her fingers through my hair.

"No, but I've seen how beautiful my wife is."

"What do you want?" Tobin asks. "You only get like this when you either want to have sex or food."

"Of course you know my tricks." I groan. "Can we have pizza for dinner?"

"Yes Astrid." Tobin says while laughing. "We can have pizza."

"Good." I say then softly kiss my wife. "But seriously Tobin you are the most beautiful women in the world and each day I fall more and more in love with you."

"You know if you wanted to have sex you could've just said so and not made me cry."

"Ohh Boo Bear. I'm sorry." I say and wipe the tears from my wife's eyes.

My wife smiles down at me then she kisses me before she orders our pizza. The two of us lay on the couch for a while until someone rings our doorbell.

"I got it." I say then get off the couch and head to the door

When I get to the door I grab the money from my back pocket then open the door. A noise from my feet pulls my attention downwards and I see the two cutest babies I've ever seen.

"Uh Boo Bear." I say. "You need to come see this."

As I stare down at the two babies I hear my wife come up behind me.

"What.......is that what I think it is?"

"Yep." I say then I bend down, grab the basket, and bring it inside.

Once inside Tobin and I take the basket to the kitchen and set it on the counter then we take a note out of the basket and read it.

Our parents passed away due to overdose and we need a good home. We were both born on August 3, 2022 and we are both up to date on our vaccinations. Can you give us a good home?

"What the fuck?" Tobin mumbles as we stare at the twin baby girls.

"That's it?" I question as I re-read the letter. "That's all it says?"

"I'm gonna call the police." Tobin says then she calls the cops and puts the phone on speaker.

"911 What's your emergency?"

"Hi...I don't know if this is an emergency, but we just had two babies left on our doorstep." My wife says.

"What's your address?"

"5335 South West Patton Road."

"We have a unit coming to you now."

"Thank you." Tobin says and hangs up.

A couple minutes later there's a knock on the door so I go open it and see the pizza guy and the police person.

"Here." I say and hand the pizza delivery person his money before I take the pizzas. "Keep the change."

"Thank you." The pizza delivery person says then he walks away.

"We got a call about babies being dropped off here." The police woman says.

"Yes Ma'am." I say and open the door wider. "My wife's with them in the kitchen."

The Policewomen comes into our house so I shut the door then I lead her to the kitchen. When I get to the kitchen I see my wife making funny faces at the two babies causing them to laugh.

"Boo Bear." I say and get Tobin's attention.

"What? Oh sorry." Tobin says then she comes over and takes the pizzas

"So what happened?" The Policewoman asks.

"Well we ordered pizza for dinner and the doorbell ring so I got up to get it and the babies were in front of the door. I called for my wife and she came to see the babies then we brought them in here and found a note." I say then hand the Policewoman the note.

"Do you two have any idea who's kids they could be?" The Policewoman asks.

"No idea." Tobin says.

"Well if you two don't have any objections then I will take them with me and find them a home."

"Toby?" I say causing my wife to look at me.

"Yeah."

"What if...what if we adopted them?"

"Welcome to April camp everyone." I say then look around the room. "Before we start this meeting I would like to introduce you guys to the two newest members of the US Women's National team."

I look towards the door as Tobin comes into the room holding Kasey and Ingrid then she walks over to me and hands me Ingrid before she stands next to me.

"Oh." Kelley says.

"My." Christen says.

"God." Ali says.

"Astrid and I are very very happy to introduce you to Kasey and Ingrid Heath." Tobin says.

"What's their full name?" Abby asks as the girls come closer.

"This is Kasey Cameron Heath." Tobin says and gestures to the baby in her arms.

"And this is Ingrid Kelley Heath." I say and gesture to the baby in my arms

"Did...Did you..." Kelley says, but my twin can't finish her sentence because she's getting emotional.

"We wanted our daughter's names to have meaning so Ingrid is from a local woman in Germany who helped me heal then Kelley is for......well I think we know why."

"Can I..."

"You wanna hold her?" I ask and Kelley nods so I lay Ingrid in her arms.

"How old are they?" Christen asks as Tobin lays Kasey in her arms.

"8 months...and thankfully they sleep all night."

"What about Kasey Cameron?" Alex asks as she watches her wife hold Kasey.

"Kasey and Cameron were two high school teammates and they were the first two people to help me be comfortable in my sexuality." Tobin says.

"So when did you guys decided to have children?" Sam asks.

"Funny story actually." I say and nervously laugh.

"Uh oh." Kelley says. "This is going to be good."

Tobin and I tell the stories of how we became parents and even after a month of the babies being with us I'm still confused

"Who do you think wrote the note?" Abby asks.

"We think it could have been either their grandparents who didn't want them or the dealer who sold their parents the drugs." I say.

"Are they healthy?" Christen asks.

"They're perfectly healthy." Tobin says with a smile as I take Ingrid back from Kelley.

"Kelley you might wanna turn around." I say then my twin turns around.

"HOPEY." Kelley shouts then she runs to her wife and hugs her. "What are you doing here?"

"Came to surprise you." Hope says then she kisses my twin. "Hi Babygirl."

"Hi...Did you plan this with Astrid?" Kelley questions.

"No I was just on the same plane as them."

"You guys flew from LA?" Christen questions.

"No our flight went from Portland to LAX then here." Tobin says.

"Well now that everyone has met the kids." I say with a smile. "You all are free for the night then we'll start after breakfast tomorrow."

Everyone on the team nods then they disperse.

"Well this is gonna be one heck of a family dinner." Kelley says.

We play the Swiss here in Charlotte in a couple days and since the first game is in-between Kelley and I's family in Atlanta and Tobin's family in Jersey they all came down to see us before we get extra busy.

"We should probably get going." I say then Tobin, Kelley, and Hope nod.

Tobin and I put our kids in their carriers then we carry them out to the rental and buckle them into the seat. Once their buckled into the seats Hope sits in-between them then Kelley sits on her lap while Tobin and I sit in the front. After everyone is buckled we drive to the restaurant.

Once at the restaurant I park then Kelley and I carry the kids into the restaurant while Hope and Tobin carry the carriers.

"Hey Families." Kelley says as we walk into our private room in the restaurant she arranged.

"He-" Mom says, but she stops when she sees me and Kelley carrying my kids. "Okay which one of you has kids?"

"Mom...Cindy." I say with a smile as Kelley hands Kasey off to Tobin. "Would you two like to meet your granddaughters?"

"What?" Cindy breathlessly asks.

"This is Kasey Cameron Heath." Tobin says and lays said daughter in her mother's arms.

"And this is Ingrid Kelley Heath." I say and lay Ingrid in my mom's arms.

"I'm a grandparent?" Mom questions with a smile then she looks at my Dad. "Dan we're grand parents."

"They're so beautiful." Jeff says as the family surround the kids.

"They look like a mixture of you and Tobin." Erin says.

"How old are they?" Katie asks as she takes Ingrid into her arms.

"8 months old." Tobin says. "They were born on August 3, 2022."

"When did all this happen?" Cindy asks.

"Funny story." Tobin says and scratches her neck. "Ingrid and Kasey were left on our doorstep."
