"Is everyone here?" Kelley asks.
"Um." I say then I count everybody standing before the two of us. "Yeah everyone is here."
"So where exactly are we going?" Erin asks.
"To Kelley's bachelorette party." I say.
"Well I know that." My big sister says. "But like where is it?"
"You'll find out on the plane." I say then I turn and address everyone. "Did everyone pack what I told them to?"
"Yes." The 8 ladies in front of me say.
"Well then let's go to the plane." I say.
The 9 of us walk through a door in the Atlanta airport that leads to a tunnel which leads us to a hanger with a private jet.
"Welcome to O'Hara airlines." I say and motion to our plane.
"Damn Astrid." Ash says as the door to the plane lowers
"So when we get on you'll notice there are gift bags with your names on them on the seats, but you don't have to sit there I just put them there randomly."
"Gift bags?" Kelley questions.
"You said you wanted those cliché matching outfits so I got everyone's sizes."
"Aww." Kelley says and hugs me. "You do listen."
"Yeah yeah. Just get on the plane." I say.
As everyone gets on the plane I make sure we have everyone.
We have Alex, Ali, Ash, Allie, Christen, Erin, Kelley, Tobin, and myself.
"Okay we're all here." I whisper to myself then I get on the plane and sit next to Tobin.
The 9 of us talk amongst our selves until we take off and fly towards our destination.
"So where are we going?" Christen asks as Tobin intertwines our hands.
"Well it's somewhere with a beach." Kelley says not giving me time to answer. "I mean we did all get swimsuits."

"Astrid where are we going?" Erin asks.
"Kelley where have you always wanted to go surfing?" I ask
"Ericeira, Portugal." Kelley says like a giddy school girl.
"Yep."
"Why is Kelley so excited?" Ali asks.
"She's always wanted to surf there."
"We're going surfing?" Ash asks with a smile.
"If you want to." I say.
"Please Ali." Ash begs and gives her soon to be wife her best puppy dog eyes. "Please can we surf."
"Yes Ash." Ali says as everyone laughs. "You can go surfing."
"Whipped." Tobin teases.
"Oh and you aren't?" Ash questions.
"I'd think before you answer that." Kelley says.
"Oh I definitely am." Tobin says.
"Good answer." I say then kiss her hand.
I then lean my head onto Tobin's shoulder.
"We have 9 hours left on this flight so I'm going to sleep." I say then Tobin and I head to a seat big enough for both of us.
Tobin reclines our seat all the way back, throws a blanket over us, then she rests her head on my chest.
"Sleep well Astrid." Tobin mumbles.
"You too Boo Bear." I whisper then kiss Tobin's head. "You too."

"ASTRID THIS PLACE IS AMAZING." Kelley screams as she runs around the villa I rented for the week.
"I know." I say then grab hold of my sister as she runs by me. "Chill."
"Fine." Kelley grumbles.
"So this place has four bedrooms so I guess the two couples can get their own rooms, Allie and Tobin can share a room, and Kelley, Erin, and I can share the last room." I say and everyone nods.
"DIBS MASTER." Kelley shouts and runs off.

"Hope's gonna kill me if her fiancée comes back with a broken bone." I mumble and grab her and my bags then follow her along with the rest of the girls.
While waking to the bedroom I notice Allie and Tobin going into their room causing me to sigh.
"You alright?" Erin whispers.
"yeah." I mumble as we get to our room.
My sister's and I unpack our suitcases and put our pillow's on the bed then we chill on the bed.
"Seriously Astrid what's up?" Erin presses.
"Nothing Erin." I say.
"What's going on?" Kelley asks.
"Nothing." I say.
"Astrid." Erin warns.
"Erin just fucking stop." I say. "I'm not a fucking ten year old anymore. You have to let me deal with stuff on my own for once."
"I'm so confused." Kelly mumbles.
"Just drop it." I say. "We need to go get groceries."
"No." Erin says and glares. "Not until..."
"Erin this is why we don't talk as much anymore." I say cutting off my older sister. "You still treat me like a fucking 14 year old girl. Well Newsflash Erin I'm not. I'm a 32 year old women who doesn't need to be treated like a little girl."
"Your my sister Astrid..."
"Am I?" I question. "Because you and Jerry treat me way different than you do Kelley."
"YOU LEFT." Erin shouts.
"Oh fuck off." I groan then get up and go to leave the room. "And you wonder why I'm not coming home for Thanksgiving or Christmas."
I leave the room and start walking.
"You know what." I mumble.
I then walk back in the room then face Erin, who's sitting on the edge of the bed with Kelley.
"I was going to deal with it myself, but you, being the nosy person you are, wouldn't let me deal with it on my own."
"I just want you to be happy." Erin mumbles from her spot on the bed
"I get that." I say and squat in front of my sisters. "But you have to let me deal with stuff on my own...I'm not a little kid anymore. I'm a woman who's been through cancer, getting shot 10 times, living on her own in a foreign country for 10 years, and been through so much more in those 10 years."
I then wipe the tears from my sister's eyes.
"Why'd you leave us?" Erin whispers.
"I needed to sulk Erin. None of you would let me grieve. All of you told me to get on with it like nothing was wrong...Also I was pissed because everybody worried about Kelley and didn't care that I just lost my girlfriend." I say then take a breath. "You could've texted you know."
"What?" Kelley asks.
"Kelley you were the only one to text me during the ten years I was gone."
"What the hell Erin?" Kelley says.
"I was pissed." Erin says.
"Who cares." I say making my sister's look at me. "I'm home now so who cares."

Asturian Warbringer - A LitRPG on Earth
Currently releasing 5 chapters a week Luke Kells liked only one thing about himself: his green eyes. He hated getting bullied, hated being poor, hated being an orphan, hated his weakness, hated the government, hated his life. If someone had given him a button to push and kill everyone but him and his granddad, he would've done it without a second thought. Then, one day, after fainting during a beating, he woke up with memories that would change his life. Magic, martial arts, how to craft special artifacts; he knew it all. Anyone would’ve taken that path to glory at once. However, he had to deal with a lot on his plate first. To even begin walking that path, Luke first had to deal with his own psychological issues. Almost two years of brutal bullying that was akin to torture and no support from the school staff of the police had left him with a broken soul. Before even realizing he could be rich or powerful, he had to bring himself out of the mental hellhole he found himself in. Oh, and his memories also told him the Sentinel Tower would change reality in six months to protect the planet from the Demonic Horde. But that wasn’t as important as not making the local bully angry, right? A story about personal growth, overcoming obstacles, and reaching absolute glory at the end of the path. This is a slow-paced, character-centered story. If you want something faster paced, filled with almost immediate and nonstopping action, check out my other novel: Modern Awakening - A cultivation, LitRPG, apocalyptic novel.
