Kealia was peacefully walking down the doorway, her earphones on. She was thinking about her day, about Tobin, and then about what she ate at breakfast, and then how Tobin was dribbling down the whole field during practice, and then that she probably should call her dad, and then about Tobin's smile.
She was snapped out of her 'Tobin-trance' as a warm hand grabbed her arm. She jumped, and was thrown against a wall. A door was slammed, and she regained her mind. She looked around her, and saw a totally panicked Maura Rys, and then a quite worried Ashley Sanchez. But Mal, on the other hand, was just lying on the bed, not giving a shit about Maura's despair. Kealia's eyes went back and forth between the three girls, taking the time to really observe Maura. Her green eyes were wide open, and her hands were shaking.
The blonde middy sighed.
"What's your problem, damn it !" she then exclaimed, trying to forget the fact that she was scared by a kid. "You don't kidnap people like that ! You could have asked me like 'Hey, K, do you mind coming in my room ?' or something ! Geez, I-"
"I am Tobin's sister" Maura blurted out.
Kealia's eyes went wide. "WHAT ?"
"Yeah."
"Holy shit... Now that you mention it, you kinda look like her... You have the same beautiful, breathtaking and intense eyes, and then- wait, did I really say 'breathtaking'? I meant-"
"Oh, trust me, we all know what you meant" Mal let out, smirking.
Kealia threw her a death glare. "Whatever. Does she know ?"
"That's the problem" Ashley said, rolling her eyes. "She kinda hid it from her."
"You lied to Tobin ?" the middy asked, quite surprised.
"Yeah, kind of..."

"Kind of ? What does that even mean ?"
"Chill, I only discovered it like two weeks ago. The only people who know are you, those two goofballs, and my biologic parents" Maura went on.
"Okay... Why did you tell me though ?" Kealia asked, frowning.
All looks were now locked on her. She suddenly felt pretty old.
"Well, you're very close to Tobin it seems-" Maura started.
"I'm not- Have you seen Allie ? Because she is Tobin's best friend" the middy said, totally surprised. "I mean, I though it was obvious because of the whole 'Harry' thing, and then everything else, but yeah..."
"Exactly !" the young defender exclaimed. "You are close to her... in an other way. Like, more in a spiritual way."
"In a spiritual w-"
"Translation : you have a crush on her" Mal yelled.
Kealia's face turned red. Geez, this kid really has no chill. "I don't-"
"You do" Ashley cut her.
"I really would be grateful if you could just, like... talk to her ? I mean, find out if she already knows, maybe know what she thinks about me ? Or... Stuffs, you know ?" Maura went on, ignoring her friend's comments.
Seeing how desperate she was, Kealia just sighed. "I guess I can do that."
Cari got out of the car first. She opened the car door and held Moe's hand in a bridal style, as she was making sure her summer dress wasn't touching the ground.
"My lady" Cari said in a neutral tone.
Moe smiled.
Lyon was a beautiful city. Even though they traveled that day, and that the team wanted to do a group dinner, Cari found Moe that afternoon and told her she had settled a special evening for her. She was bringing her to a fancy restaurant by the Rhône, one of the three rivers that were going through the city.

The girls entered the restaurant, and Moe found out that Cari didn't lie when she told her she was making this evening unforgettable. The waiter recognized her, and led them to their table, that was outside, in a private balcony. They sat down and chose what they would be eating. All of a sudden, Moe's eyes couldn't stay on the card ; Cari was beyond beautiful. She even put on some make up, which was a miracle. Last time she asked her about it, Cari only told her that she was putting makeup one for 'special occasions'.
When the waiter cleared the table, the balcony's door was shut, and a very slow French music was playing. Moe immediately knew that Cari was the one asking for it. The defender always knew about Moe's obsession with the famous 'first dance'. Yes, Moe still believed in fairy tales, and she wasn't disappointed tonight. When Cari slowly got up and proposed her to take her hand, she didn't even hesitate. There was nobody she'd rather dance with. Both girls were feeling the tension grow.
Since Cari was the shyest by far, Moe immediately took the lead. Since they were the same height, it was even easier to reach her hips with her hands. When the brunette looked into Moe's eyes, and saw that she was in good hands, she wrapped her arms around her neck and started dancing in slow motion.
That's the perfect moment. Moe closed her eyes, because looking into Cari's was bringing up too many feelings. She was surprised when she felt the defender's lips softly pressing against hers. But she didn't mind either. In order to comfort Cari in her actions, Moe tightened her grip, and their bodies were now glued to each other. They started moving their lips in sync, swiveling their hips by the sound of the music. Moe felt Cari's heartbeats against her own chest, and kissed her a little bit deeper.
When the music ended, they didn't break the kiss. It was quite the opposite, since Cari was on her toes, her tongue asking for permission to go in. Moe allowed her two, and knew at that very moment what 'kissing the girl you love' really felt. Her hands were caressing Cari's back, as the defender was biting Moe's lips with shyness. When she slowly pulled away, she made sure their foreheads would still rely on each other.
Moe let out a relieved sigh.
"Woah" Cari whispered against the older girl's lips.
"I know baby".
"Y-you felt it too ?" the brunette carefully asked, looking all shy and cute.
"Yes, I felt it too." Moe reassured her.
Cari was intensively looking into Moe's color-mixed eyes, as she didn't know what to do anymore. She regained control of her body, and finally was able to talk a full sentence without making a fool of herself.
"I thought about going for a walk by the river" she said, her voice shaking out of nervousness.
That made Moe giggle, and Cari going even weaker for her.
"That's a fantastic idea, my lady."
She took Cari's hand and lead her outside of the restaurant. They walked for a full hour, their shoes in hands, laughing out loud. Whenever people came across from them, they saw how in love the pair was. That was giving them faith in that strange thing called love. In purity. In loyalty and true love.
Moe kissed Cari again on a bridge, where they could see the sky full of stars rising over them.

“A great corruption is spreading. The people cry out for a savior. For a hero. For YOU! Come join the fight, as the chosen of World Tree! Receive the blessings of the gods, battle fierce monsters, and become the hero you were meant to be, in Arcanum Online!” It was the cheesiest commercial Ethan had ever heard, but the gameplay was enough to draw him - and thousands of others - to the fantasy world of Lazuros. It’s the sort of place that can really draw you in - a huge open world, a deep character customization system, and a feature that makes time pass slower inside the game, extending your limited playtime! It was a little strange, though. As if it was a bit too realistic for a game of swords and sorcery. The NPC’s seemed almost alive, most quests didn’t reset and monsters respawned slowly. Still, for all it’s quirks, it was a good game! Just a game. And nothing more. …right?
