Emily woke up first. 

The first thing she saw was Lindsey's arms wrapped around her. Sonnett was cuddling a little bit on top of her, her head resting on Lindsey's chest. The taller girl's hand was grabbing her own forearm, so that Emily would be in what felt like a cocoon. Their bare legs were entangled, and the blonde was thanking God that they weren't naked. She already felt her head burning, but somehow, being in Lindsey's arms made her forget about the pain of her bad hangover. She really was feeling great. 

She didn't remember much about yesterday evening. What she did remember was the five minutes before entering the room. They were on the elevator, and suddenly Emily felt this desire to kiss the taller girl. With alcohol in her blood, she didn't think twice before literally jumping at her neck and crashing her lips against hers. They wildly kissed until they reached Lindsey's bed, and had sweet, soft and cozy sex before falling asleep. 

The only problem was that Sonnett wasn't sure about Lindsey's reaction. Earlier in the evening, when they were dancing with Kelley, Lindsey told her she didn't want to kiss her ever again because it hurt too much. But now here they were, not avoiding the drama at all, and Sonnett was already freaking out. The World Cup was her prior concern.

She felt Lindsey move. "Shit" a sleepy voice let out, before the brunette put one of her hand on her face. "Shit, shit, shit" she repeated. 

"Lindsey, calm down" Sonnett ordered, straightening a little bit. She felt her boobs pressing against Lindsey's - thank God I have a bra on - and looked down at her. "There is no need to do a big deal out of this"

The middy still had her hand on her face. "'Not a big deal'? We fucked, for God's sake ! And I'm supposed to remain calm ? The World Cup is just around the corner, and instead on focusing on scoring goals, I just-" 

"Score goals in a total other way" Sonnett sarcastically said, smirking. 

"It's not funny !" a very confused Lindsey said. "And why are you still on top of me ?" 

"Because you're kinda comfortable" the defender responded. She knew Lindsey was totally freaking out. She also knew it wasn't very smart from her to keep on flirting with her, but she just couldn't help it. 

"Sonnett !" Lindsey complained, sighing. "I'm being serious ! I really can't be involved in any way right now ! And why the fuck did we have sex ?" 

"You didn't complain last night though" the defender commented. 

"Of course I didn't complain ! I was drunk and the girl I've liked for the past three years jumped on me" Lindsey said, quite angry. "But now that you've got what you wanted - which is having sex with a desperate girl - you'll go back to 'we should just be friends, Lindsey' and then act like a bitch." 

Emily felt her heart beating faster, and break a little bit at the same time. She could feel frustration in Lindsey's voice, but also pain. Real pain, deep pain. The blonde set her jaw, trying to pull it together. What do you want, Sonnett ? That was the right question to be asked at the moment. You want Lindsey. But do you want everything that comes with her ? She closed her eyes, as her friend was trying to look fierce. 

The defender ran her fingers on Lindsey's cheeks. 

"It's just that... It's complicated" Emily tried to explain. "I really do like you, Lindsey. I swear that night we shared wasn't meaningless. You're not meaningless to me. But I can't be in a relationship right now..." 

"Soccer" Lindsey guessed right away. 

"Yeah." 

The brunette just rolled her eyes. 

"I think you can go now" she bitterly let out, pushing Sonnett off of her. "And maybe don't come near me again. We need to focus." 

Emily reluctantly left the room, before remembering that it only was like 5 AM, and that Lindsey actually was in her room, so she couldn't go back. Woah, she just threw me out of my own room. I guess I deserved it. She decided to go for a morning walk by the lake. 

She felt guilty.

"Oh, come on !" 

The sun was slowly rising, and their faces were lightened by a warm light. Mallory was sitting crossed-leg on the grass, turning her back on the beautiful sight she had from the balcony. They were the last one leaving the party, and decided to on Ashley and Mal's room balcony, since she decided to go and sleep on Maura's and Saskia's room. So here they were, enjoying the sight and the sunset. 

They talked about a lot of things tonight, and both were exhausted. But Mal didn't want this moment to end. And so did Jenko. 

"You really won't leave me in peace, right ?" Jenko asked, frustrated. 

"Nah".

The blonde threw a death glare at Mal, who took another sip of Gin. Yes, innocence had gone away. Mal couldn't think about when the last time she drank that much in one night was. She really was enjoying her freedom right now, and especially since Jenko was here. This night seemed to have changed a lot of things. They still weren't best friends forever, but they were on the good path. 

Jenko playfully rolled her eyes. 

"C'mon grandma, you could at least tell me about your first kiss !" she begged, grinning.

Mal thought for about a second. "It was with my best friend, and that's about it." 

The keeper frowned. "Best friend boy or best friend girl ?" she asked. 

"Is it important ?" Mal asked. Noticing that Jenko obviously wouldn't answer that, she just shook her head. "Girl." 

"Woah, the American Princess is gay ?" Jenko laughed. 

"Whatever" the brunette said, rolling her eyes out frustration. "It's not a big deal. I mean, you are too, right ?" 

Jenko raised her eyebrow. She took another sip. 

"Yup. Gayer than Elton John" she let out. 

"You know what ?" Mal said, trying not to laugh too hard. She already got Jenko's attention, but wanted her to wait, so she just grabbed the bottle, before putting it on the ground again. She then smirked. "We should kiss." 

Jenko burst into laughter. "Kiss ?" she exclaimed, surprised. "Us ?" Seeing that Mal was nodding energetically, she just smirked again. "You're a grown-up. If you want to kiss me, do it. Don't ask a girl for her permission. Only twelve years old boys do that." 

"Well then" Mal let out. 

She put the bottle aside and climbed on Jenko's legs, that were stretched. The keeper's back was pressed against the wall, as she was sitting on the ground. Mal was very careful with where she put her hands. She wanted to look sexy, and she wasn't sure why. Her mind was empty now, as she was totally sitting on Jenko. As she was approaching her face, the keeper had a light laugh and raised her hand. 

Mal knew she had to be more enterprising. 

"Do you really think that's a good idea, Royalty ? I mean, you're supposed to hate me." Jenko said, raising her eyebrows at her. 

"Just, shut up" Mal ordered. 

She grabbed Jenko's hair and pulled her closer. 

Mal immediately deepened the kiss, as she felt the keeper's lips on hers. A very warm feeling she's never experienced before took control of her body. She was now obeying her pulsations, as her hands found their way under Jenko's t-shirt. The blonde kissed her back almost immediately, probably shocked that Mal really kissed her. She was pretty aggressive, biting Mal's lips from time to time. 

The kiss was very dynamic, so when Jenko was beginning to be confused about the conflicted feelings she had toward the forward - she only was supposed to hate her - she couldn't push Mal away. So she just went with the flow and kiss her wildly. 

But after two very long minutes, Mal needed air, so she broke the kiss. She stayed on Jenko's lap for a second, before sitting back where she was sitting before this. 

"I still hate you, bitch" Mal let out, drinking again. 

Jenko shrugged, knowing that they might not remember this the morning after. She just cracked a smile and drank as well.
