{A/N : this story is a little bit different from the three other books. If you haven't read them, it's not a problem.}

Hope and Carli got married on a beach in Australia, where they lived for a year. They both agreed on retiring when they had the chance to adopt a beautiful little girl. They both live in Seattle now, and are the happiest they've ever been.

Megan Rapinoe decided to end her career as well, the injuries slowing the team down. She kept on playing for Seattle until the summer of 2018, when she announced her official soccer retirement. Her and her now wife Sera are living together, and the singer is even pregnant for three months now.

Ash and Ali now live in Germany. Since they are now naturalized, Ashlyn is the number one goalkeeper of the country and has lead her team to victory during the Euro 2017. Ali became a legal guardian of Maisie, and taught her how to speak German.

Other players like Becky, Whitney and Kling just thought it was best for the team if they just stopped playing for the national team. So Kling still is playing for Portland, trying her best to maintain the level of the team while the roster is away. It is the same scenario for Becky and Whit, who both are playing for Kansas City now. Becky got married to her long-time boyfriend, while Whitney met the man that she calls her soulmate.

With key players out of the picture, others important players have become the leaders. The two co-captains are now Tobin Heath and Julie Johnston, who are now considered as the main pillar of the team - even though Julie is only 27 years old.

Speaking of which, her and Christen have never stopped loving each other. It's their third year as an official couple, and everything was perfect between them.

But the same can't be said for Allie and Kelley. In 2017, they realized that distance was destroying their couple more and more every day. Kelley met a girl in New Jersey, and decided to break up with Allie instead of cheating on her. The midfielder went into a depression, and hopefully Tobin and Alex were here to help her overcome it.

Alex Morgan got pregnant in the beginning of the year. That were the headlines for weeks, and came as a real shock for the soccer world. Alex and Servando didn't want a kid now, but it happened. So Alex had to stop playing soccer for a while.

The team is now totally rebuilt, with newcomers and old faces. But will the girls find a way to overcome their differences and win the World Cup again ?
