"Happy birthday beautiful." I say then pepper Lindsey's face with kisses making her giggle.

"Thank you baby." Lindsey says with a smile then she brings me down into a kiss that quickly turns into a make out session.

"As much as I would love to keep kissing your lips we have breakfast soon." I say when air really becomes an issue. Lindsey nods and we get off the bed.

"Okay...Join me in the shower?" Lindsey says then seductively looks back at me as she walks into the bathroom.

"Is it your birthday or mine?" I ask before joining her in the shower.

The shower was sort of steamy. We just kissed a lot since we haven't had sex yet and I don't want our first time to be in the bathroom of a hotel. Lindsey deserves for our first time to be special.

Once out of the shower Lindsey and I change then head down to the meal room.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" Everyone yells when Lindsey enters the room.

"Thanks everyone." She says and sits next to me as food is brought to us.

"So what did Cairo get you?" Kelley asks.

"Birthday sex?" Pinoe asks.

"Not before a game and only if she is ready." I say.

"Cairo said most of my presents are back at her house so I will open them tomorrow." Lindsey says.

Actually I have a one of her presents with me.

"Oh babe I forgot to give you your key." I say and Lindsey takes the key.

"WAIT" Alex yells.

"YOU DIDN'T" Christen yells.

"I did." I say with a smile.

"Wait whats going on?" Mal says and most of the girls look confused.

"After the NWSL season Lindsey is moving in with me in LA." I say and Lindsey and I both smile.

"Alright ladies we need to leave so everyone go get your stuff." Jill says. Everyone gets up and heads to the stairs and up to their rooms. On the way up I walk next to Ash.

"That's a big step." Ash says.

"It is, but we've talked about it and we're both ready to live together. We've basically been living with each other since February and it would be hard for me, at least, to go to sleep without her next to me." I say.

"Trust me I get it." Ash says as we get to our floor.

Everyone grabs their stuff then walks back down stairs and out to the bus. The bus then makes the drive to the stadium. The normal starters aren't starting and apparently we will only play maybe 30 minutes if we are subbed in.

Once at the stadium I go and do my seal walk and make my headband then wait for the pregame speech. After the pregame speech the starters go to the tunnel while the rest off us go to the bench. On my way to the bench I see the little girl I met yesterday so I walk over to her.

"Hi Lucy." I say. Lucy waves at me then hugs me and holds on to me so I pick her up.

"Hi."

"You ready for the game?" I ask, but I notice she is just playing with my jersey. "Do you like my jersey Lucy?"

"Yeah."

"Well if you'll let me wear it during the game then I will give it to you after the game."

"Okay."

I set Lucy back down next to her mother then go and sit on the bench. 90 minutes later the game is over and we've beaten Mexico 4-0. I played the last 20 minutes. All I did was stand around and maybe run for 2 minutes. After the game is over I'm walking off the field when I remember Lucy so I go over to her.

"Hi Lucy." I say and lean on the rail.

"Hi Cairo."

"Did you like the game?"

"It was fun."

"Well I did promise you my jersey so..." I say and take off my jersey leaving me in a sports bra. "Here ya go sweetie." I hand the cute little girl the jersey.

"Thank you."

"No problem sweetie."

"Can I get a picture of you two?" Lucy's Mom asks.

"Of course." I say then pick up Lucy and then we look at her mom and smile for a few pictures.

"Thank you so much."

"Of course." I say then look at Lucy. "I'll see you around sweetheart." Lucy nods then hugs my neck and kisses my cheek. I hug her back and set her back down next to her mother. I wave at them then walk into the locker room.

"Where were you?" Mal asks once I'm in the locker room. "And why don't you have a shirt on?"

"I was talking to Lucy, the little girl from yesterday, and I promised her my shirt after the game so I gave it to her."

Mal nods then I change and head to the bus. The ride back to the hotel is quiet with everyone resting. Lindsey took a quick nap on my shoulder.

Once back at the hotel I let Lindsey shower first so I could talk to Jill.

"Hey Cairo." She says after answering her door.

"Hi Jill can I take Lindsey out to dinner for her birthday tonight?"

"Of course. Just be back by eleven."

"We will. Thank you Jill." She nods and I go back to my room.

"Lindsey?" I say once back in our room.

"Yes?"

"Did you bring a dress?"

"No."

"Damn. Do you think any of the girls would go with you to get a new dress?

"Yeah."

"Great. You'll need it tonight when we go out for your birthday dinner."

Lindsey jumps on me making me catch her. "Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise Love, but I promise you'll like it."

"Awesome."

"Well I'm going to go to Ash's room to get ready. Do you wan't me to ask Ali to come down here?"

"Please do. Emily and Mal may come too." I nod and head to Krashlyn's room with my stuff and knock on the door when I get there.

"Hey Cairo." Ash says and lets me in the room.

"I need you help from both of you." I say.

"What with?" Ash asks.

"I'm talking Lindsey to dinner tonight."

"Ooh fun...Where do we come in?" Ali asks.

"Well Ali I need you to go with Lindsey and help her find a dress for tonight and tell her to pick her favorite and not pick on price. And when she is ready to go I'll meet her in the conference room." I say.

"I can do that." She says then grabs her stuff and walk to my room.

"And Ash I need your help with my clothes." I say then show her my dresses.

"We need other opinions. Shower while I get other people" She says and leaves the room so I shower and when I get out of the shower Christen, Alex, and Tobin are all here too.

"Which one?" I ask and point to the dresses.

"Red" They all say in unison. I nod and take the dress into the bathroom and change into it.

"So how do I look." I say when I come out of the bathroom.

"Hot." Ash says and everyone nods.

"Good. Well it's time." We all go to the elevator and take it down to the floor with the conference room and wait for Lindsey. Weirdly the whole team is in the conference room.

When Lindsey walked into the conference room my jaw dropped. "Y...wha...loo..bea..."

I tried to form a word, but couldn't.

Lindsey is wearing a white dress that hugs her body and shows off her gorgeous assets. Her beautiful blonde hair is in waves and she is wearing minimal make up so her natural beauty is on show. I really don't know why she wears make up. She looks even more beautiful without it.

"Damn Lindsey you made her speechless." Kelley says and the team laugh.

"Red suits you babe." Lindsey says and kisses my cheek.

"I've never seen something so beautiful." I say then take Lindseys hand and twirl her around making her giggle and smile. I love the sound of her giggle.

"Well that was cute as fuck." Kling says.

"Where are you taking her Cairo?" Becky asks.

"Dinner and then dancing." I say.

"We're going dancing?" Lindsey says with a smile.

Lindsey told me she's always wanted to go dancing on a date so I thought why not for her birthday.

"Yes princess we are." I say and she squeals with excitement. Before we leave I go over to Ali, Emily, and Mal. "Thank you for helping me." I say to the three girls.

"Of course." Mal says.

"No problem." Ali says.

"Have fun." Emily says.

I turn around and walk back to Lindsey. "Ready to go love?" I ask and she nods. We head to the car and make the thirty minute drive to Benjamin Steakhouse. Once we arrive we valet the car and head in to the restaurant. Once at the table I pull Lindsey's chair out for her. "M'lady" I say and she sits down so I push her and the chair closer to the table then I sit down across from her. Lindsey orders a glass of wine and a glass of water while I ordered a coke and a water. We both ordered steaks. We talked, ate, and enjoyed each others company for two hours. It was an amazing evening.

"That was so good." Lindsey says as we get into the car.

"Yes it was...How's your birthday been so far?" I say.

"Amazing."

"Good. You ready to go dancing?"

"Yes." She says with a smile so I drive off to the studio I rented so we could be alone.

After the five minute drive to the studio I get out of the car and go around to Lindseys side and open the door and offer her my hand which she takes and our fingers subconsciously intertwine.

"Ready to dance?" I say as we get to our private room. Lindsey nods so I play the slow music then wrap my arms around Lindsey's lower back and rest my hands on her voluptuous ass. Lindsey puts her hands around my neck and plays with my hair as we sway back and forth to the music.

"I'm so glad I accepted that call up from Jill a year ago." I say after a couple songs.

"Why is that?" Lindsey asks playfully.

"Because I met the love of my life."

Lindsey doesn't respond she just passionately kisses me. I think she forgot my hands were on her ass because when I squeezed her ass she moaned into the kiss allowing me to explore every inch of her mouth with my tongue.

"Cairo" Lindsey says while out of breath.

"Take me back to the hotel."

I nod vigorously then grab our things and rush to the car.

We get in and speed back to the hotel. When we get in the lobby we race to the elevator and wait impatiently for the elevator. Once alone inside the elevator I pin Lindsey against the wall and suck and kiss on her neck making her moan.

The elevator dings signaling we are on our floor so we race to our room and as soon as we get inside I pin Lindsey against the door and crash my lips on to hers and we stay this way for a while until air becomes an issue so we pull away and both of us undress.

"Great minds think alike." I say after seeing Lindsey's gorgeous body.

"What do you mean?" Lindsey says.

"Neither of us are wearing underwear." I say before smashing my lips back onto hers. I tap her thighs and she jumps into my arms letting me take us over to the bed and I slowly put Lindsey's back on the mattress as the kiss gets even more heated.

While I'm on top of Lindsey staring at my gorgeous girlfriend and catching my breath I notice she looks nervous and a little scared.

"Lindsey we don't have to do this." I say while hovering over her.

"Are you sure?" Lindsey asks so I move to the side of her, wrap my arm around her waist and we face each other.

"Lindsey you are apart of this relationship too. This isn't about what I want. Now do I want to make love to you? Of course I do because I love you a lot, but my want to make love to you doesn't matter. I want you to feel comfortable when we eventually do have sex and I don't care when that is. It could be in fifteen or twenty years from now and it wouldn't change how I feel about you Lindsey. I'm not with you because of your gorgeous body or because you are the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen. Granted your body is fucking amazing and you are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen." Lindsey blushes making me smile. "Lindsey I'm with you because you challenge me intellectually, you make me a better person, you bring light into my life, you make me happy, you make me feel things I've never felt before...Lindsey I'm with you because you are the love of my life."

"I don't deserve you." Lindsey says and I giggle and peck her lips.

"I was just thinking the same thing so looks like we are even."

"I love you."

"I love you too princess...Now why don't we just cuddle tonight and watch some Netflix."

"That sounds perfect"

"Before we do..." I say then lean over and passionately kiss Lindsey until we need air. "Sorry I just really needed that. Your kisses are addictive." Lindsey giggles then cuddles into me and we stay in each others arms for a while until I feel wetness on my skin and I notice Lindsey crying. "Lindsey...Baby what's wrong?"

"Nothing Cairo." She says and I wipe the tears from her eyes

"Princess your crying."

"I'm just happy Cairo... I knew you loved me, but what you said just really made me happy and feel even more loved."

"Well I meant everything I said Princess." I say and Lindsey kisses me softly and we fall asleep in each others arms.
