Sanskar: But I m not going anywhere without knowing anything. She is my wife and I have full right to know about her.
Shekhar: Oh , so suddenly you realised that she is your wife.
Sanskar (angry but try to remain calm): Baba, She is my wife. I know it well but for now this is not the topic. Whether I have realised or not that She is my wife. The thing is, I want to know the something and I will.
Shekhar: you will not get to know anything and there's nothing to do with you whatever it is.
Shomi (try to calm shekhar): Shekhar, please calm down. Don't get angry on him. It was me who was going to tell him.
Shekhar: But he was the one who provoked you, right?
Sanskar: yes baba, I was insisting her to tell because I wanted to know.
Baba, please tell me. I know you don't like me for whatever happened two years back, because of my behavior but as husband of Swara, I want to know. please baba. ( requested)
Shekhar: No, we will not tell you anything and this is my final decision.
Sanskar (politely): Maa, baba please.
Shomi given apologetic look to him while Shekhar was determined. Sanskar sighed.
Sanskar: Ok baba, if you can't let me know anything then, let Swara know something.
Shekhar (confused): What? What are you trying to say?
Sanskar: (sternly) Baba, I requested you but you are determined on your decision but the problem is I m also very stubborn person. If I want something then I will get it by hook or crook.
Shomi: Sanskar beta, why are you playing with words? What do you want to say? Just say clearly!
Sanskar (smile); Maa, I know you will never go against baba and tell me anything. So, I will know it by Swara only.
Shekhar: but she don't know anything about it.
Sanskar: So what, If I will tell her that she is not your daughter but daughter of a criminal, a murderer. She will come to you and ask about it then you will be left with no option than to tell her. So, If you can't reveal it to me. You have to reveal it to her and trust me. It will be more painful for both of you.
Shekhar : No, you can't do this!!
Sanskar: I will do this only.
Sanskar turned to go but shomi stop him.
Shomi: You won't tell her anything Sanskar. She will be broken.
( To Shekhar) Shekhar, please stop him. Please tell him to not to say anything to her.(pleads).
Sanskar: I won't tell her anything but you have to tell me.
Shekhar: And why will I believe you that after knowing about it, you won't tell her Anything?
Sanskar: You don't have any other choice but to believe me.
Shekhar (sighed): Ok, I will tell you but you will never let Swara know about it.
Sanskar: I promise, she won't know.
They took seat and Shekhar started to say...
Flashback;
25years ago;
Shekhar pov;
We were having a happy family. My father, mother, brother Sashwat and his wife Chitra, me and Shomi. It was only one year for our marriage. We all were very living together happily in Jaipur. Sashwat was my elder brother and Chitra, his wife was also very kind lady. One day, Bhai declared that Chitra bhabhi is pregnant. We all very happy with this news and excited for baby.

Days passed. Everything was fine but suddenly one day my father died. We were broken by his death. We were trying to support each other. My mother was in state of shock with sudden death of my father. Bhabhi was in her seventh month. She was also taking stress which was dangerous for her and her child.
It was one week to Dad's death, we were sitting for breakfast and were trying to have something because it was so tough for us come out of sudden unfortunate death of Dad. Then, my Dad's lawyer came to me and gave me some papers. I took that and read that.
After reading that, I was shocked because my father had put his everything on my name. His company, his bank balance, his shares and nothing was on my brother's name. I never thought that my dad will do any injustice with my brother. There must be some mistake. I talked to lawyer about it.
"How can this happen, why Dad's everything is on my name and nothing on bhai's name?" I asked.
Lawyer told that my father only called him and said to change the will. Everything was divided between me and Sashwat earlier but two days before his death, he called him and asked to change the will and put everything on my name and its also stated that if I tried to give anything to my brother then our whole property will be donated to orphanage and NGO that was adopted by Dad.
I was confused why Dad did that? I turned to look at Sashwat who was looking at me differently. I didn't exactly figure out what was going on his mind and for that I still regret. For once, I could know what he was thinking? What was he upto?
Days passed, Sashwat's behavior was changing which was noticed by everyone. Sometime we asked him but he refused.
One night, me and Shomi were sleeping in our room. Suddenly, we heard some sound and came out of room and we're shocked to see the scene in front of us. Shashwat was holding a gun and my mother was lying lifeless on the floor and sound was of gunshot. His eyes was red in fury and anger. He didn't seems to be in sense. I got out of control watching that. He killed my mother. I hold his collar and push him and questioned him why he did that? Why he killed Maa?
He sees me and jerk me angrily and then he gave the answer which shock me or make me numb.
He said" Get lost you bastard!! Who are you to question me? huh!! You are the reason of everything. Bloody looser!!! Because of you, I could never get what I thought. You snatched everything what is mine and today I had my perfect plan to send you out of my life but before I could do something, Maa came in my way like dad. So, I had to kill her. "
I was shocked hearing it.
"Shocked!! yes Dad was killed by me only. He didn't died. I did everything so that he may happily give his whole property to me and your shares too but how can I forget that you were always his favourite. He distributed everything between us but I thought to change the will and that's why I called our lawyer to change the will and bribed him but that bastard!! He called Dad and told him everything. So, Dad changed the will and give each and everything to you. I got so angry on him. How can he give everything to you!! That old man!! That's why I killed him and today Maa too. But, now it's enough!!! I will kill you. My whole problem will be finished. So, now time to say good bye." He said further and fired he gun.

He fired his gun but Chitra came on right time and threw his hand upward. She slaped him hardly.
Chitra ( shouted): "Sashwat!!!! (slap him) Are you gone mad? Why did you kill Maa? You bastard!! why? Damn it!!! If you had so much problem with Shekhar. You could have talked to us!! why did you live with this stupid insecurity. You are wrong. Shekhar is not responsible for anything. It's all because of you and your so called ego and insecurity. You killed dad and maa. (slightly pushed him)
You are an animal Sashwat!! Animal!!or even worst than animal because thinking to kill own parents, even animals won't do that. I hate myself that I m your wife and going to be mother of your child. I m afraid to have this child because if he or she will be like then I will kill him or her myself. You can never be a good father Sashwat. The one who don't understand his own father and killed him, how can he give fatherly love to his child? I hate you. I HATE YOU!!!"
She looked at me and said" Shekhar, call the police immediately. I don't want this man in our house anymore, who is now turned into a monster!!"
I nodded and was about to call police but suddenly, Sashwat pushed her angrily and she fell on floor. Me and Shomi rushed toward her. I was so much angry on him. I just wanted to kill him once for all. How can someone so cruel that he cannot show mercy to his pregnant wife wnd unborn child too.
Chitra was screaming in pain but Sashwat was not at all affected. He pointed gun toward us. He was about to fire but he got shot on his hand. I look up to see, police have already came. One of our servant called police already. They arrest him and my mother body was sent for postmortem.
We took chitra to hospital. She was very critical. Doctor could have saved only one of them. Either mother or the baby. We told doctor to save Chitra. After sometime, doctor come outside with a baby girl. We asked about Chitra bhabhi but doctor said that she don't have much time. She told her to save the baby.
I was very sad and angry too. We were going to loose another member of our family. Me and shomi went inside with baby Chitra was lying on the bed. I was crying but still I was angry on her. How can she leave us?
Chitra called us near her. She took the baby in her hand and caressed her face.
Chitra (smiling with tears): She is just like me na, Shekhar, Shomi? See her eyes, so pure, so beautiful.
Shomi (tears): Chitra di, Why you did that? Why are you leaving us?
Chitra: Shomi, I m not leaving you. See, whenever you will look at her. You will remember me. Shekhar, I know you are angry on me but how can I kill this child. She is innocent. But don't worry, I won't leave you both. I will be with you in this small innocent soul.
( breath heavily) Shomi, Shekhar, will you promise me something? Will you take care of my baby? Will you give her all happiness? will u...
I interrupted her and said yes. I promised her to love her child as my own daughter. I will treat her as my princess.
Chitra smiles sadly and said : I know Shekhar. She will be your princess. Please name her " Swara". And one more thing, you will give her good values and she should not be like her father. She should never know about her father and his deeds. From now on she is your daughter. You will never tell her that she is not your daughter and about her actual parents. Promise me.... please
I noded in yes. She smiled and hand over baby to me. After that, she closed her eyes forever. Leaving me and Shomi with her symbol, her baby. We were left alone. In one day, our family destroyed. We lost our family. Now, nothing was left in Jaipur. So, after doing last rituals of Chitra bhabhi and Maa. We came to Kolkata with Swara and started to live here only.
Flashback end...

Azarinth Healer
A new world with nearly unlimited possibilities. A status, classes, magic and monsters. Sounds good? Well, for Ilea it didn't come quite as expected as for some other protagonists, nor was there a king or god to welcome her. The grand quest? Well, she might figure that out someday but for now, a new world with new food is prize enough. Her fists at the ready, she's prepared to punch and get punched, however long it takes and however many limbs she might have to regrow. A story I've started writing now quite a while ago. Transported to another world, somewhat standard fantasy setting with my beginner attempts to make it dark but funny. There are Litrpg elements here but I do hope it's not too heavy and annoying. The fights should be interesting and aren't just numbers vs numbers. Contrary to the title the protagonist will be quite an offensive fighter. Ilea Spears is your average sarcastic kick-boxing fast food worker and soon to be student. She will be transported to another world rather conventionally and will be confronted with survival in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. My experience is incredibly lacking. If you find yourself hating it early on, do convey your anger in a detailed comment or review :) I want to get better but without any feedback it's simply quite difficult. Quick heads up: Around chapter 120 there are a bunch of longer PoV changes that I discontinued again shortly after. The Arc around chapters 150-200 is darker than the rest and the themes shift quite a bit. Just know that it goes back to what you've come to know after that section. Thank you for reading. Quick update June 2019: Many complaints regarding the formatting, specifically spacing in conversations and of course the usage of the present tense in the first 36 chapters have been addressed. I'm of course learning by the day but compared to how it was before it should be an improvement at least. Chapters usually around 3k words Cover art by Kevin Catalan

One day every person on the planet suddenly received a message warning the end of human supremacy over the planet, and at the same time alerting the humans in order to prepare. The message was seen as a joke by everyone or almost. In the period in which the MC starts some training there will be a time skip, and show only the necessary parts, interesting or that affect the story. I don't have the patience to read or write entire chapters just MC doing nothing but train. And likely the MC stay well OP. This and an amateur fiction only in order to improve my skills as a writer. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess. (This work is also being serialised on Webnovel under the name Revile as a trial run)
