Title: Letters

sana wiped her forehead, exhausted from spending almost three hours on studying when she was supposed to be unpacking

the tired girl stands up from her desk, carefully making her way through her apartment trying not to

move any of the boxes that were scattered around her living space

she looks at the time, 2:08 am

shit, she thinks, i've stayed up again,

her hands trembling as she poured herself some coffee

after almost two weeks of ruining her sleep schedule, sana was still trying to keep herself busy

because if she was busy that meant that she didn't have to unpack

childish really, but,

she wasn't ready, she needed just a bit more time

her thoughts were soon interrupted by a noise, her window must have opened by accident

and with her coffe mug in hand,

she walks silently through her apartment, carefull not to wake her sleeping neighbours

the sound of her floor creaking was enough to make her heart stop,

adrenaline rushing through her veins

only the soft murmurs of her neighbours from next door could be heard

now relived, sana searches for the

source of the noise and to her displeasure

a box, filled with letters,

was lying scattred on her -already

messy- bedroom floor

and as she dusts off the box,

memories of the letters came

fludding her mind

so, she sits down on her couch,

in her stuffy apartment and starts reading the written notes

the first letter, a pink one,

was a valentine card decorated with hearts and stickers

the ink almost smudged off, making its contents bareley readable

and after a few unimportant letters,

she comes across a note

it was written around the time she turned 19 and she had gotten it from a girl

not just any girl, because this girl, meant the whole world to her

and while other people wrote her love letters and birthday cards

y/n wrote her a suicide note.
