Kiyotaka pov

Matsuo left the room with a gruntled smile on his face leaving only me and katagiri. What was i supposed to do! Make a joke?

Taking in a deep breath i willed myself towards him, "We'll be together for quite awhile we should become friends" now how will he react?

"Sure"

Great!

"You can call me kiyotaka"

"And you can call me yuichi"

He didn't say anything after that creating an awkward silence

"Uhhh want to check out the garden" i point through the window

"No but i'm planning to go have some fun want to follow" he stares at me waiting for an answer

Wanting to get to know him better i nodded my head almost immediately

"Nice, don't worry there's going to be a nice surprise for you at the end"

With the permission of matsuo we were allowed to go out

It was my first time actually seeing the lights of the modern and i relinquish every step of the pavements and every breath of fresh air provided by the greeny trees

Eventually we arrived at a fancy looking restaurant

"Did you even bring cash?" I asked remembering that we brought him in only after making sure that he had nothing in his possession

"Nope" he says before strolling in

'maybe he has contacts' i hoped

Following behind him he walked past the receptionists with confidence and headed into the dining room.

"Wait here" he tells me before grabbing a cup of water from the water cooler and heading in

Yuichi pov

I looked around for my target and immediately found a fool. Getting close i accidentally trip on the carpet and splash the water onto his pants

As he was on the older side of life he didn't really react but his family was about to pounce on me

"Gomen Gomen" i bowed multiple times

"How about i get you a bottle of their most expensive wine as an apology" i signal the waiter for the wine

"Well thank you good sir" a man in his 30's donning an extremely expensive suit bowed his head in thanks

"Don't worry about it" i winked at him

After an exchange in pleasantries i went to the waiter

"Sir can i get two ribs with ice tea and your most expensive desert to go please"

"Absolutely sir" he bows before going into the kitchen

Going back to the waiting area i sat next to Kiyotaka

"How are we going to pay?" He asks again

"We aren't going to"

He stays calm but a twitch here and there gave his nervousness away

"Just act confident" i lightly nudge his shoulder

After a few minutes a waiter hands me the food and drinks

"How are you going to pay sir"

"The lied family will be paying our bill" i pointed at them and hid the food and drinks behind the waiter

They waved back with bright smiles on their face

"Yes it seems everything is in order" the waiter nods his head

"Than let's go Alice" i left the restaurant at a comfortable pace

Kiyotaka pov

Once we left the restaurant we went under ground in the subway

"Where are you bringing me?" I asked cautiously

"Your surprise remember"

We slowly walked through a swamp of slime and goop and eventually reach a door

Opening it a dark room showed itself, yuichi went in and not really having any other choices i followed

Immediately after the door slammed shut behind me and the lights turned on

'my first friend betrayed me' the thought repeated in my mind over and over again

Two guards restrain my arm but i brought them down in an instant

I looked him in the eye ""

"" a sickening smile grew on his face

"BANG!

He stops talking as a red liquid drools down the front of his face

"Wha" He mumbles out before falling forwards and onto the floor

"Surprise!!!" Yuichi shouts and fires the gun at the rest of the unconscious guards

I stood there in a state of confusion "What?"

Yuichi pov

"Like i said i plan the entire thing. I leaked information about the whiteroom to the government so it would be shut down, than i slowly planted ideas into matsuo head about freedom by placing a few children playing everywhere he went, than i met with the professor and said sweet nothings into his head till he was dancing to the tune of my plans, together i faked the failed whiteroom escape and allowed matsuo to find me" i explained my plan to the dumbfounded kiyotaka

"So you didn't betray me?" He was relief

"Of course not, but we should really get going" i pulled out an explosive from beneath the couch and set an alarm

"We look pretty badass don't we" he smirks at the panicking people around us
