《Ayanokouji as a female? - ONE SHOTS》Ryuen's situation - part II

Classes ended about 2 hours ago and it was now 5:05 pm. I was just walking towards the library to borrow some books and not look at the same damn ceiling in the room at all time.

I just hope that people will finally leave me alone.

I don't have time for meaningless conversations with Ibuki, Ishizaki or Albert. These fools followed me all the time when I was going home after school. Really annoying. And why did they do that? Because they didn't want to accept my decision.

Sometimes I think that humans are really stupid beings. First, each of them is afraid and doesn't follow my orders until I teach them about my dictatorship, and then they come like a dog that hasn't gotten fucking food.

They are walking and following me with these lowered heads without knowing what to do with themselves. How stupid.

Are these the effects of people who have been dicratically governed? If so, the psyche of these people is really fucked up. I believed that people who are no longer under such a system of rule would happily work for themselves, but apparently I was wrong.

Most likely, they got used to obeying orders. And if their ruler leaves, then they will have nothing to do with themselves, because they will have no one to serve.

It seems that now they need a rough leader again, because they won't be able to adapt quickly to the new conditions of another type of power, which is cooperation between them and not following orders.

So now they need me again or else they will end up on the dead end. This made them realize that without me this class will be crushed. They finally started to rely on someone who they obeyed before. It reminds me a little of Stockholm syndrome.

"Kuku, how ironic."

I laughed at the very thought of them begging me to return. But my laughter disappeared quickly when I remembered a certain sentence.

I remembered the words of Ibuki, which she said to me when I managed to drive them away.

"So Ayanokouji managed to destroy your willpower to fight just because you had lost. You are behaving like a child here, not us!"

"Tch."

I just had a thought about it and immediately hit the trashcan next to me on the sidewalk, completely ignoring the pain in my leg from the last battle on the roof.

'This has nothing to do with my will to fight. It's not because of this monster woman. It's just...'

I must admit that I was wrong and too arrogant in my attitude to the subject when analyzing this whole situation with X from class D.

But who would have expected that the most incompetent and passive woman who helped Suzune as some kind of dog, turned out to be some kind of martial arts champion and master of manipulation.

Of course, I took into account that she is the X from the beginning, but her existence was supposed to be ended on that school rooftop. But she crushed us with her bare fists.

I used and relied on my assumptions about it rather than preparing myself for all eventualities. Now I understood my mistake in terms of the scheme.

'But what is this strange feeling that I had never had a slightest chance?'

It was the most frustrating. Something in the back of my mind kept saying that she knew what I was planning from the beginning, even if the plan was done well, I would still lose.

She completely have predicted my actions, knowing only a few details.

That was probably it. She had full confidence because she knew I would never win at this level.

If I want to overcome her, I should work on my body capabilities and think from more perspectives then before.

'But I'm going to drop out of school, so why do I even think about it?'

Again, I started making up new plans, forgetting about my decision.

'What's happening to me lately.'

I shaken it off and decided to ignore this idiotic topic.

After about 15 minutes I found myself in front of the entrance to the library.

I saw some people looking at me astonished when they saw someone like me entering a quiet and peaceful place such as the library. As usual, the library was really huge and left a person impressed.

'Kukuku, I guess they think I'm gonna start some kind of a mess here.'

"Hey, isn't that Ryuen, the C class leader?"

"Yeah, but what's he doing here?"

"Maybe he's planning something."

'These people are need to be really stupid to be heard from such a distance.'

I chucked in my mind.

'Unfortunately, I must disappoint them today.'

I thought and started to approach the regiments with a calm steps to the regiments with books planted in huge shelves.

I walked between tight and small aisles between huge bookcases. I was looking for a mysterious species.

'Drama, adventure, romance...'

I looked through the plates hanging on each of the shelves.

'It's here, mystery.'

I entered the aisle with mystery books and started to analizing them.

'"And Then There Were None", "Murder on the Orient Express", "Classroom of the Elite", "The Da Vinci Code"'

I was pulling books out of the shelves checking the names and searching for the interesting one.

I noticed "The Girl on the Train" and tried to pull out the book, it was on the top shelve.

I had to stand slightly on my toes and try to pull the book out to the end. But suddenly something cracked in my back and the book fell on the floor.

'Stupid hurt body.'

I thought to myself annoyed and bent down for a book on the ground. But when I was about to have it in my hands, someone suddenly picked it up and handed it to me.

"Hello Ryuen."

I heard a familiar monotonous and calm tone of a speaker. I was immediately sure who it was.

'Don't tell me.'

I raised my head and noticed that I was looking into the eyes of a person and she was looking at mine, literally a few centimeters from my face.

I looked straight into her light brown eyes for a while, as if something had pulled me into it. They were so expressionless that I was able to see my reflection in them. I couldn't see anything else besides that. A whole new level of poker face.

"What the hell?!"

I said aloud without thinking when I saw this face. People from the sudden outburst were looking at us but I ignored it and turned my attention to the figure before me.

"Ryuen, could you please not attract the unnecessary attention I don't need?"

Ayanokouji Kiyone, the person who defeated me and crushed me in all ways, stood in front of me in the library as if none of the previous events ever happened.

People took care of themselves after a while and I ignored her request while smirking cunningly at that flat expression.

"Why should I do that?"

I asked to annoy her, but her face was still like an unmoved rock.

"Since you can create meaningless problems for me that can disrupt my peaceful life as a ordinary student like me."

She spoke with an apathetic tone.

"You? An ordinary student? Don't make me laugh."

"..."

She said nothing.

'Tch.'

"It seems that monsters really like quiet places, judging by you being here."

I said with big sarcasm.

She tilted her head to the side only after a while, as if she understood now.

'She pisses me off.'

"I don't think you should address the opposite sex like that, Ryuen."

She said and I averted my eyes.

"Anyway, what are you doing here?"

I tried to change the subject by asking a stupid question. What have I become.

"I wanted to read this book you have in your hands."

She said and looked at book in my hands.

"Huh?"

"Would you like to join us in reading?"

She asked without any sign of expectation in her voice.

"Didn't you want me to leave you alone?"

"Indeed, but I usually read at the moment with Hiyori from your class in the library, who is sitting at that table behind you, so there shouldn't be a problem."

I turned around and in fact I saw Shina Hiyori sitting at the table. She stared at the book as if absent, probably that's why she didn't notice us yet.

"So you've already managed to sneak in and make an interaction with people from my class behind my back, as I expected from a monster woman."

"Please, anything but don't call me like that."

I smirked again.

"So how am I supposed to call you, if not something that defines you?"

"You can even call me Kiyone. And no, my relationship with Hiyori has nothing to do with our classes competition."

I saw her thinking for a while.

"You could describe us as reading buddies."

She said and turned around and started walking towards the table.

'Reading buddies?'

"You coming?"

I thought for a while, but in the end I had nothing to do anyway.

"Whatever."

I said and followed.

We arrived at the table where Shina was sitting, only now she noticed me.

"Oh, Ryuen-kun I wasn't expecting you here. I am happy that you decided to develop your interest in readership."

She said with a warm smile and clapped her hands happily. I am a little irritated by that kind of speech, but I will survive.

"Ryuen, could you lend me that book later, please?"

Ayanokouji asked as I looked at her.

"Yeah, sure."

'Maybe it won't be that bad after all.'
