*inhale* *exhale* "ahhh."

The person next to me on the bus briefly glanced at me as breathed which is understandable as it was a bit louder than one usually does.

The person on the same seat as me had short blue hair in a bowl cut and had what appeared to be a permanent scowl on her face and I do not intend to have it aimed at me so I'll refrain myself from trying to talk to her.

At the front of the bus I observed a magenta haired delinquent type observing everyone on the bus as he was standing holding on to the bus support railing. He seemed to be very observant of the girl next to me and checking her out.

But from what I could tell it wasn't in a perverted way but rather sizing them up. Looks like he plans to make her love him through force maybe. Although, he is observing other people on the bus such as the blonde haired man with a ponytail he seems to be subtly observing others not as well as magenta man but quite well and it seems none of have noticed him except magenta haired man.

"Please take my seat Mrs." A tall purple haired boy with a stern expression offered his seat to an elderly woman who was struggling to stand seems like he is a nice guy I hope I can become friends with him later.

As I was pretending to be looking out the window while listening to others conversations the bus stopped as we had arrived at our destination. "Ne ne lets go to the welcome ceremony together." Seems like the girls have already made acquaintances with each other I'll have to up my game if I hope to make friends in this school.

The blue haired girl quickly got up and left the bus slightly brushing another girl with silver hair who looked quite angry at her. I as well got up and went to the front gate of ANHS my new home for 3 years as it doesn't allow outside contact.

As I walked up the stairs of the school I noticed the magenta haired man tailing the blue haired girl subtly and the blonde haired man paying attention to magenta haired man but I don't think he can tall he is following the girl yet.

These people seem to be very weird lets hope I can talk to some normal people in this school.

As I walked to the hall I heard conversations between girls "Wanna go to the mall they have here after school?" "Sure I was looking forward to it bestie." How are they already besties pretty much everyone should of just met here maybe I am the odd one out seeing as I don't really know anyone.

After hearing similar things from most passer-by's I felt some gazes on me from both the girls and boys likely because I was the only one walking by myself to the ceremony.

As I entered I looked for the class line I was meant to go to Class C and found it in the middle right of the hall. I took my seat and near me I could see a green haired boy and a black haired boy talking "Hey I am Ishizaki Diachi nice to meet you Kondo." Well I know 2 of my classmates names now but I probably shouldn't say them out loud til everyone knows their names. I sat on the corner and next to me was the silver haired girl who was brushed by the blue haired girl earlier and I could see her glaring daggers at her who was sitting 2 seats forward from us.

The boy in between was sweating from the intense pressure but wasn't sure where it was coming from "Why are you sweating man?" "Not sure I just feel some sort of pressure you know." Seems like my assumption was right.

As the principal got up and started his speech about how this is an elite school and the standards to uphold I noticed everyone dozing off or whispering to their neighbours. I would like to talk to the girl next to me but she seems to be talking to a girl next to her about the blue haired one in a rather rude way so I'll leave it be.

I continued to observe my classmates and noticed a giant black man with some cool looking sunglasses. He seemed to be eyed up by the magenta haired man from earlier. Is he perhaps looking to be dominated by a bbc?

I continued my observations and found the purple haired man from earlier in the class B line next to a pink haired girl who seemed to be paying attention to the speech and a few of her classmates were to.

I also saw the blonde haired man in class A and that class seemed to have about 75% paying attention to the speech while my class only had me somewhat paying attention and a smaller silver haired girl with a book in hand and a a boy with glasses.

Class D was talking freely not even whispering "Bro the girls in our class have such big tits lets go!" He said that loud enough for me to hear clearly without even trying to snoop and seems to be getting glared at by all the girls who had heard including the person next to me.

She looked at me for a second and then went back to her friends but seemed to have softened up compared to earlier and even after hearing the perverted boys comments perhaps she is thankful for them not being in this class which is completely reasonable.

The ceremony ended after what seemed to be hours but in reality about 30 minutes and we were told to go to our classroom. I wanted to explore the school a bit so I took a detour to get to the classroom and I could see a blonde haired man talking to a stern black haired man with the latter scolding the blonde one. "Nagumo at least let them settle in first." ""But Horikita-senpai I want to play with them." Seems like a father scolding a child.

The black haired man noticed my presence and seemed to be sizing me up like the magenta haired one did earlier. After I walked a bit his gaze left me and it seemed the blonde one hadn't noticed me or the others gaze.

As I entered the classroom I noticed one or two glances that left quickly and I found my seat which was the only empty one at the back corner next to the window. In front of me was my neighbour in the ceremony her name is Shiho Manabe and the neighbour is the magenta haired one Kakeru Ryuen.

Manabe looked at me and my name tag and then slightly nodded to herself, wonder what that was about. As I sat down I saw a black haired man who appeared to be our teacher who begain to speak.

"Take your seats. I'm Sakagami-sensei, and I'm the homeroom teacher for Class C. There will be no changing of classes in this school. I will be responsible for you for the next three years until you graduate. First, I'll hand out the school rule book. Take one and pass it back. We have special rules at this school. First, you will live in dorms and, while at school, your ability to leave campus and contact the outside world will be limited. But don't worry. The school offers a variety of facilities. Everything you need can be found here, including entertainment. To buy things, you'll use points stored in the school's official computer system. At this school, you can buy anything using points. Points are allotted on the first of each month. One point is worth one yen. You have already been allotted 100,000 points for this month."

"100,000!!!" said Ishizaki quite loudly which repulsed a few of the girls in class.

"No way." Said Kondo.

"Are you surprised by the size of your allotment? This school judges students based on merit. You are attributed significant value just for being accepted here."

"Anything on campus can be point using points so don't hold back." Sakagami stated while looking at a piece of paper it seemed that this speech of his was scripted which I noticed Ryuen make a grin as he did that. Seems he is suspicious of the system of this school.

"You are alloted points every month. Any questions?" Ryuen didn't even bother raising his hand and spoke.

"Sensei what is the catch of this system." Sakagami made a slight grin and answered.

"What ever do you mean Ryuen."

"So why did you say this month and not every month."

I could see Manabe in front of me gasp and a few of the other classmates did as well.

"I am sorry I can't explain any further however, I can say... be careful." Ryuen nodded seeming to understand the response perfectly and sensei left.

Shortly afterwards I could see cliques break it Manabe seemed to be hanging with a few other girls named Yamashita and Yabu with a girl named Rika seeming to try and join which eventually she did and they seemed to be having a fun girl talk together. I noticed that Manabe keeps glancing at me perhaps mocking me for not having anyone to talk to.

The glasses guy named Kaneda and the small silver haired girl with the book Hiyori seemed to be reading or studying alone while being seatmates with no interactions talk about dilligent in your studies.

A girl named Kinoshita tried talking to the blue haired girl from earlier and seemed to be failing quite spectacularly as she was just ignored and then went to talk to a girl named Yajima.

Ryuen was watching over everyone and keenly the black giant Albert while a few girls tried to talk to him about him what he asked to the teacher.

I also observed Ishizaki, Kondou and Komiya chatting lively about getting a girlfriend which made the girls distance themselves naturally.

I decided to leave as I needed to get some groceries and check out my room as no one had come to talk to me.

As I left I saw nobody outside the classroom it seemed everyone had already made friends in the distance I could see a group standing at the door likely waiting for someone to come so they could go somewhere probably the mall they had there.

I quickly left and arrived at the store with me being the only one inside wearing a uniform.

I grabbed some pre packaged meals and some microwavable dinners as I wasn't proficient in cooking. I also saw some free items so I took the 3 I was allowed to and exited the store to see a few upperclassmen walking towards me.

"Kouhai what class are you in?" I wanted to test a hypothesis I had gathered from this morning. "Class D." "Haha you hear this he is in class D he is a defect hahahahah."

I tilted my head "what do you mean?" "Don't worry about it you'll be in hell come may 1st." Seems that class D isn't treated well at this school well thank god I am not in that class then.

As I (Kiyo)pondered my thoughts Manabe walked up to me alone. "Why did you say you were in class D you know we are class C right?" Seems like I will need to make an excuse. "Oh I forgot sorry." I said with my ever still monotone voice.

She seemed a bit surprised by my voice "Is your voice always like that." "Sorry I was born with it." She seemed to be deep in thought as I started walking away she spoke "Can you accompany me inside I need some food." "Sure."

As we went in the clerk gave me a sly grin for some reason and Manabe started grabbing food and some neccesities specific to girls. "So... you made friends." Manabe seemed dumbfounded at this statement "of course I did why didn't you."

To be honest I didn't know what I was doing wrong myself as I saw many people get approached by others. "I have never been good at making friends I am a loner after all." I stated.

She nodded with a bit of worry and then went to get some more groceries and I tapped her shoulder and pointed at the free items to which she thanked me.

As she paid her groceries and we walked out I saw Ryuen walk towards us likely to get in the store. "Kukukuku already getting a girl on the first day."

Manabe ignored him and lightly grabbed my sleeve signalling me to do the same I simply nodded at Ryuen's remark because I wasn't sure what to do.

As we walked in silence for a few minutes towards the dormitories she suddenly spoke "Don't get any perverted ideas Ayanokouji." Seems like remembered my name the only person to so far which makes me feel acknowledged and I am not sure but maybe happy.

"You remembered my name." I couldn't muster up a smile so I gave her a nod with a thumbs up to which she just looked at me confused as we continued to the reception area.

"Room 401 for you sir and for the lady Room 801." We took our keycards and walked to the elevator together I pressed the buttons and rode up. As we arrived at my floor I spoke "Goodbye Manabe." To which she nodded and pressed the close doors button quite rude if I say so myself but she was nice enough to talk and walk with me.

I entered my room and saw it was quite big for what I thought it'd be.

I put the microwavable food in and waited for it to be finished and ate it. It was quite tasty way better than the food I have eaten in the past.

I then took a shower and went to my bed which wasn't as comfortable as my old one was but still quite high level for what I thought it would be. I began thinking that my first day wasn't too good but at least I talked to Manabe and slightly to Ryuen.

With those thoughts I drifted into sleep.

As I woke I immediately did my morning workout which was 100 single leg squats, 100 slow rise sit ups 100 explosive push ups and 100 slam burpees. This was enough to maintain muscle mass without deterioration for a few months.

I heated up another meal and then changed into my uniform and walked into school just as the bell was about to ring.

I arrived without seeing anyone walking on the way with a few standing near the door chatting amongst themselves.

As I went to my seat someone approached me. "Yahallo I am Kinoshita Minori who might you be?" "Ayanokuji Kiyotaka." Ryuen seemed to be watching this encounter with great interest is he really that into girls he gets jealous when I talk to them.

"Nice to meet you can I get your contact number I am making a class group chat." I nodded and handed her my phone to which she added her contact and vice versa then left for her seat as our teacher arrived.

The whole day went by with just talks of classroom expectations and course objectives with a few people chatting to each other and one or two on their phones one of which was Manabe.

As classes ended I went to the convenience store from yesterday as I forgot to take a lunch and didn't want to be mocked for being alone during lunch.

I then found a mini park within the school with a few benches that looked to the vast ocean.

On the far right side I saw a platinum haired girl with crimson eyes with a bento and on the far left I saw a pink haired pig tailed girl with glasses that I saw in Class D at the ceremony.

I sat in the middle as I didn't really know how to talk to either of them and I saw that both of them were just eating and looking into the ocean so I did the same.

I noticed that the pink haired girl was looking at me and then would mutter some words to herself and then become really nervous. Perhaps social anxiety. However, I would still be eating here for the next few days at least as the ocean was really good to look at and clear the mind.

Suddenly I heard an announcement from the speakers "There will be a club fair at 5pm in the auditorium all are welcome." Was said by a feminine voice. Hmmm a club fair well I have no intention of joining any club as I'd rather relax in my room enjoying my limited freedom.

As the bell rang I saw the pink hired girl leave quickly and as I stood up I saw the platinum haired girl watching me and then seemed satisfied and then left to go to her class in the direction of the 2nd year classrooms so a senpai.

As I returned to class nothing of importance had happened and I saw a few more people not paying attention but not doing anything wrong.

As classes finished I left to go back to the dorms and received a text from the group chat.

'Anyone want to go Karaoke with me, Kishita and Nishino.' - Kinoshita.

Seems like they are making more friends and I would go if I could sing so I guess it would have to be next time. I looked back to the chat and noticed mostly boys replying saying they would come with some girls but not Manabe's groups or Ibuki the blue haired girl.

As I got back to the dormitories I saw Ibuki chatting with Ryuen I was too far away to hear anything but once I eventually walked past them Ryuen gave me a nod with a sly grin and Ibuki looked at me with disgust.

I entered the elevator and Ryuen rushed in as it was closing. Seems like this will be my first real encounter with the man.

"So playboy you joining any clubs?"

"No, it would waste my free time and why am I a playboy?" Even I didn't truly understand this it was just that the only people that would interact with me were girls.

"Fair enough, tell me what do you think of the 100,000 points we got."

Well it wouldn't hurt to give him some hints to this. "Well I doubt the school can afford to do this with 480 students each getting 100,000 a month being 48 million points a month which is equal to yen." I would inform him of the upperclassmen of the lower classes getting free meals but I feel that would be too suspicious of me to mention.

"Kuku so you're suspicious as well, I've noticed some senpais getting the free meals despite being so close to when we got points I believe these points are guaranteed." A fairly good deduction. He is also likely to have seen the free items and the abundance of cameras in the school.

"So what do you think gets us the guarantee of points Ryuen."

He didn't even hesitate to answer the question and spoke "It has to be classroom ettiquette or something to do with how we behave otherwise why would there be so many cameras all over the school and not to mention when I passed the senior classrooms they were all paying attention while our year isn't."

"A senpai once asked me what class I was in and I told him class D and he said you'll be in hell soon enough so I believe there is a hierarchy of sorts." I don't think it would hurt to to talk to him like this as he seemed to be on the same track and this information was something I stumbled upon by luck to som extent.

"Kukukuku now why would you say class D playboy?"

"You should already know Ryuen." As I said that the elevator doors opened and I left to go to my room luckily his room was on a different floor. I probably looked badass saying that.

A/N I'll be writing this fic for the next week cuz thats when me next exam is also I'll try to get this fic to at least vol 4 before I start to refocus on my others lol. Criticise the tf out of this pretend im a masochist.
