《Her Cursed Fate》19~|| Alive||

Duryodhana woke up for the second time that day hearing the melodious sound of bangles. He looked for the source of the sound and found his wife standing in front of the mirror getting ready for the day.
He sat on the bed and started observing her actions with keen eyes. Her extraordinarily beautiful eyes were carefully lined with kohl and her lips were painted in red like a rosebud. Her long black hair was left open and it swayed as she moved in front of the table. Droplets of water falling from the tip of her hair making her blouse slightly wet. She looked no less than a nymph.
She bit her red lips as she narrowed her eyes, trying to concentrate on wearing her earrings. Seeing her biting her lips increased his desire for her. She was making it more hard for him to control his rising desire for her. If it wasn't for the fact that he wanted her heart and soul along with her body, then he would have definetly claimed her long before.
He got up from the bed and walked towards her. He wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her towards him. A gasp escaped her mouth at the sudden movement. She looked on the mirror and saw the reflection of her husband making her relax. Her back completely pressed against his front making goosebumps appear on her skin. He smirked seeing the effect he had on her.
His eyes locked her's through the mirror making her breath hitch. Her eyes twinkling with unknown emotion. He gently moved her hair away from her bare back to one side and placed a soft kiss there. He continued peppering kisses on her neck making soft moans to escape her parted lips. Her soft moans were like a song to his ears.
He twriled her around and crashed his rough lips into her soft petal like ones. The kiss was passionate and gentle. She found herself melting in it. Her hands automaticly made their way towards his hair. A throaty moan escaped his lips when she tugged his hair slightly as he deepened the kiss. Feeling out of breath they broke the kiss with a small smile adorning their lips.
He caressed her cheeks slightly before planting a kiss on her red cheeks. He moved towards the dressing table and picked up her mangalsutra and tied it on her neck. He opened the sindor box and took a pinch of sindoor from it and filled her partion with it. She closed her eyes savouring the moment.

He enjoyed her reaction to his touches. Her responce gave him an immence satisfication. He loved the feeling of her heart beat against his chest. It makes him want to devor her in his love.
"You look breathtaking Nandha." He said planting a kiss on her forehead.
Nandha looked down blushing not knowing what to say. He was the first man who had touch her. Made her feel things which she had never experienced before.
"Look at me Nandha. I like it when you look into my eyes when we converse. I want your eyes on me and me alone when we are together." He said lifting her chin with his fingers.
Slowly Nandha lifted her eyes and looked at his eyes, blushing heavily. He kissed her forehead again but this time let his lips linger there a few minutes before pulling back.
"I will freshen up and come. Then we can both go down and have our breakfast together." He mumbled before leaving her.
With one last look at her crimson face he turned and left the chamber with a smile playing on his lips. As soon as he left, she kept her hands on her chest and started breathing heavily trying to calm her racing heart.
These few days have been a bliss for Nandha. Duryodhana had been loving and pampering in such a way that she never felt a bit of sadness. He was always with her and had helped in being familier with the place. He was sweet and caring towards her. Not even once he mistreated her.
She found herself falling for him all over again but a part of was afraid. Afraid that he will become the same monster she had seen on her last day in Hastinapur. Her fears and insecurities stopped her from telling him about her love.
As for the family members everyone were very loving and never let her feel unwelcomed. She had mingled with everyone but she was more close to Gandhari. She found her dead mother in Gandhari. She started getting the motherly love she missed from childhood from Gandhari.
She spents most of her time either in the royal library or with mata Gandhari. She wrote frequent letters to both Ahaan and aadrika enquiring about Amernath and their lives.
Life had started becoming beautiful for her but what she didn't know was that beauty is an illusion. She forgot the passionate love too had a dark side. She forgot that all happiness doesn't last long.

"Maharaj the only thing that was stopping Putr Duryodhan from attaining the throne was his Marital status, and now that he is married and have a queen beside him, I think it would be the perfect time for his rajyabhishek. What do you think about this Maharaj?" Shakuni asked with a sickening smile on his face.
"Maharaj, Gandhar raj is right. Now is the perfect time for the Rajyabishekh for Yuvraj Duryodhana." One of the ministers supported Shakuni.
"Even I think this is the right time as brother-in-law Shakuni suggested. We will ask the raj purohit to come tomorrow and set the date for Duryodhana's rajyaabhishek." Dhritarashtra announced.
Duryodhana, Dushassan and Shakuni looked at each other smirking. Finally all their sacrifices and hard work are going gain it's fruit. Now no one will be able to stop them from attaing what they have been carving for years.
"But there is a problem Putr Dhritarashtra." Bishma spoke up, wiping the smirks off the trio's faces.
"What is it Tatashree Bishma?" Dhritarshtra questioned.
"Putra in Hastinapur or let any kingdom in Aryavart, the eldest among the sons of the royal born become the successor of the throne to the Kingdom. It is not imperative for the present king's son to become the next ruler. If the king's brother has a son who is elder to the King's son then he will obviously succeed the King as his successor." Bishma explained.
"I am aware of that Tatashree. But as of now Putr Duryodhana is my rightful successor. There is no one other than him." Dhritarashra said, confusion clouding his facial features.
"No putr, Panduputr Yudhishtir is the rightful successor of the throne. He is elder than putr Duryodhana." He said.
"But he is dead now. Do you get me? He and his entire family is dead. There entire family has been turned into ashes." Duryodhana implorded, anger running through his veins.
Shakuni clenched his fist trying to control his anger understanding as to what actually Bishma was imploring about.
'No this can't happen. All my plannings will go in vain now. Now he will reveal about pandavas being alive. Oh no I should have been more careful. How will I stop him?' Shakuni thought to himself, glaring at Bishma.
"Yes pitamaha. Duryodhana is right. Yudhishtir along with his mother and brothers died in Varnavat." Dhritarashtra said.
"No putr, you are wrong. Kunti and her sons are alive." Bishma said.
Several gasps were heard from the viewers inside the court and soon enough murmurings started between them.
"Silence." Dhritarashtra ordered.
Once the court became silent he spoke again, "But tatashree what is the proof that it is Kunti and her sons. We can't just believe on your words. This is not just our family matter tatashree, this includes the future of Hastinapur. I can't take any action without any actual proof."
"I am not speaking without any proofs. Panduputr Arjun had won the hands of panchal naresh daughter her swayamvar. And before you say on how can we be sure of the news is true or not let me tell you putr, Panchalnaresh himself has wrote the letter to me mentioning about their Swayamvar and a few other necessary details with proofs sent along." Bishma clarified.
Silence prevailed in the court for a few minutes before Dhritarashtra decided to be break it.
"Pitamaha if they are Kunti and pandavas then why are they there and here with us? Why are they hiding? Why were they faking their own death? Many such questions are there which are unanswered. Who will answer this questions pitamaha?" Dhritarshtra asked.
"Kunti and pandavas along with the Kulvadus of Kuru will arrive here in Hastinapur tomorrow. And answers to all your questions will be given by them." Bishma said.
"Hm. Ministers ask the servants to make arrangements for the arrival of Kunti and Pandavas. And due to this reasons the rajyabhishek of Yuvraj Duryodhana will be cancelled."
Duryodhana gritted his teeth trying to control the rage he was feeling. Eveything was going according to their plan but his pitamaha had to intervine and destroy everything. With one last look at Bishma, he walked out of the court followed by Shakuni and Dushassan.

Art of Mortality
New Synopsis after chapter 56: Long long ago, there was a mortal who despised the gods and envied the immortals. Why do the mortals have to die when the gods wish them to? Why do worlds have to perish when the gods say so? Why do only immortals get to live forever, why not mortals like him? As his family, friends, and his loved one died, he lamented. He wailed, he cried. He cursed the immortals, blasphemed the gods, spat at the heavens. But he was just a mere mortal. His curses were pointless, his blasphemous words were useless, and his spits only returned back to fall on his face. At last, he thought, enough was enough, he would definitely do something about it.
