Aadrika entered Alaknandha's chamber with the hope to find Alaknandha. Whenever she need to tell Alaknandha something important then she will not be in her chamber.

"Sudha did you see Alaknandha anywhere." Aadrika asked the maid who was once her mother's personal maid.

"No rajkumari."

Aadrika pulled her hair in frustration. Where did Alaknandha disapper? She looked at the letter in her hand and sighed. Where will she be? Hey Narayan help me.

She facepalmed herself as realization drawn into as to where Alaknandha would be. Without wasting another minute Aadrika left the chamber.

The sound of the flowing water has always offered peace and solace for Alaknandha. She dipped her legs in the water. So many things had changed in this 12 years. She sighed. A small wind blew making her hair flutter. She closed her eyes feeling the coldness of the wind.

Its been 10 years since her Mandhita maa had left them. She clearly remember the day her brother came and informed them of their mother's dead. She could not see her mother one last time due to the rules of the kanyakul. She cried a lot that day. Mandhita maa was very close to her. She never let her feel the absence of her birth mother. She had not seen the face of her mother who gave birth to her other than her paintings. Jayandhika maa always called her a bad omen. Maybe that would be true if she hadn't born then her mother would have been alive.

A lonely tear left her eyes as she looked at the flowing water. Fate was always cruel to her. It snatched everything which is dearer to her. Firstly her mata, then mandhita maa. Her own father hate. She never got the love of her father. She still believes that one day he will love her like he love Athulya jiji and Aadrika.

All she has is her jiji and bhrata. They love her a lot. They are the ones who always help her when Jayandhika maa or Pitashree scold her. They were the constant strength which helped Alaknandha to fight all her own inner demons.

The rustling sound of leaves brought Alaknandha out of her thoughts. She immediately wiped the tear that fell and turned around to find her jiji standing behind her. Alaknandha stood up seeing her jiji. She looked at Aadrika who was panting.

"What happened jiji? why are you panting?"

"Alaka why were you sitting their alone? Do you know I was searching for you everywhere." Aadrika spoke as she calmed her breathing.

"Sorry jiji I forgot to inform you" Alaka said with a sheepish smile.

"Its fine. Do you know a letter has arrived from Dushala this morning."

"Letter? from dushala? What is the message?" Alaknandha asked with a frown.

"Read it yourself." Aadrika said as she extended the letter that had the symbol of hastinapur.

Her eyes scanned the letter. The frown on her face was soon replaced with a wide smile.

"Dushala is getting married." Alaknandha exclaimed as finished reading the letter.

"And we are invited." Aadrika added. Both the sisters smiled looking at each other. Their best friend is getting married. But Alaknandha's smiled dropped thinking about her father. Will he give them permission.

"But will Pitashree allow us to go?" asked Alaknandha.

"Don't worry I have asked Bhratashree to ask permission and you know pitashree will never say no to him." Aadrika said making Alaknandha smile.

"Maharaj a wedding invitation of rajakumari Dushala of Hastinapur with sindhraj has arrived." the minister informed Amerendhra.

Ahaan looked at his father who was in deep thought. His sister's husband is getting married again. It must be hard for her but what can he do it is allowed for a kshyatriya to marry more than once. This may not be the best time to ask the permission of his father but he has decided to take his chance . He cleared his throat making his father look at him.

"Pitashree rajkumari Dushala is Aadrika and Alaknandha's friend from kanyakul." He stopped and looked at his father.

"So?" Amerendra asked wanting Ahaan to continue.

"So pitashree will you give them permission to attend the wedding on behalf of Amernath?"

Amerendhra thought for a moment before answering.

"I will give them permission only if you promise to accompany them." Amerendra said making Ahaan to frown. He had thought to spend some time with his beautiful wife but here his father wanted him to accompany the devils to Hastinapur.

"If you are not going I refuse to grant them permission." Amerendra added looking at his son. Having no other choice he agreed.

"I will pitashree." Ahaan said and turned around to leave but stopped hearing his father's next words.

"Take Brinda also with you." Amerendra said making a wide smile to appear on Ahaan's face. He nodded his head without turning.

"Mata did you hear that Jayadartha is again getting married. How can its just an year since his marriage with my daughter. My Athulya should be suffering." Jayandhika said as she tore the invitation letter.

"Calm down Jayandhita, we are helpless now. Kshyathriya men are allowed to marry more than once. But there will be only one Maharani for sindhu kingdom that will be our Athulya." Jayashree said.

"But mata what will happen to Athulya now? What will happen to her future?"

"Nothing will happen to her. She is my granddaughter. She will never let anyone snatch her place. We don't need to worry about her."

Jayandhika sighed. She knew what her mother said is true. Athulya was completely different from Ahaan. Even though both have same mother and father they both are completely different. Athulya was always possessive about her belongings. But Ahaan never think twice to sacrifice his own happiness for his loved ones. They both are two ends of the same thread.

"what did pitashree say? Did he allow? Bhratashree say something." Aadrika asked Ahaan as soon as he stepped out of the meeting.

"Calm down little tiger, guess what your permission has been granted. We will leave tomorrow morning."

"We? you are also coming. You are the best Bhratashree. I love you. Have I ever said that." Aadrika exclaimed making him chuckle at her excitement.

"Ya you did a few times. Now go and inform baby to pack before she sleeps."

Aadrika stuck her tongue out at Ahaan before running to Alakanadha's room to inform her the happy news. Ahaan staired at her disappearing figure. He shook his head before making his way to his chamber where his beautiful wife was waiting for him.
