《Love Returns (Blake/You) ✔️》Chapter 26

Nerves.
I feel like my nerves are enhanced right now as I walk through this church dressed in my tux.
My whole body is on edge as I know what's to come at this wedding reception.
Today holds so many different meanings for me. So many different emotions are already coursing through my body.
But there's really only one thing I'm excited about.
And that's seeing my daughter for the first time in four years.
My little girl is four years old and I've already missed out on most of the major milestones in her life.
I've missed out on so many firsts, but I refuse to miss anymore.
"Y/N you ready?" I turn to see Cara in her tux and I smile at my best friend. She got mad jealous when she found out Megan and I left together last night. I had to reassure my best friend I wouldn't do that to her.
"Yeah, more than you even know." I say with an underlying meaning but Cara has no idea. No one does except for Megan and myself.
Blake was going to be thrown for a loop today. That's for damn sure.
"Dylan is so nervous. I think he might have shit his pants." Cara says and I can't help but laugh for the first time today.
We both laugh together and it draws attention from some people entering the church.
"We better check on him huh." I say to her and she nods her head with a chuckle.
We head back to the room we're all supposed to be in and I spot Colton and Thomas trying to calm down the guy.
"What if I forget what to say? Or I say the wrong thing!?" Dylan practically squeals out as he freaks out.
"Dylan calm the fuck down." Cara says making all three of them face us.
We walk towards them and I make Dylan stand up from the chair. I look at Cara and she looks at me. We both nod our heads and we each slap a side of his face.
"What the fuck!" Dylan nearly screams and we just chuckle while shaking our heads.
"Dyl, you're about to experience the best day of your life. You're marrying the girl of your dreams. Enjoy today." I say to my best friend who calms down almost instantly. He nods his head before pulling me into a hug. I pat his back and we all make sure we look great. It was growing closer to wedding time.
"Blake's gotta be stupid if she's still with that pop tart after seeing you today." Cara says causing me to chuckle as she fixes my tie.
"And Megan's gotta be blind if she ain't reaching for your suspenders." I say and the two of us laugh wholeheartedly together.
"Damn I've missed this." Thomas says as he wraps his arms over both of our shoulders.
"Same, it's been too long since we've all gotten together." Colton says joining the conversation.
"I'm home for good now." I say and they all smile.

"I just want to thank you guys for always having my back. I know I can be a handful at times." Dylan says and we pull him into the group hug. We surround our best friend as we get him hyped for his wedding day.
"It's time." We hear someone say as they peak their head in.
We get Dylan all fixed up and he lets out a shaky breath.
"We got your back." I say as I fix his jacket.
"Always." Thomas says and Dylan nods his head in thanks as he looks at all of us.
We hear the music begin to play and we fix ourselves. Dylan takes a deep breath and exits the door with all of us following behind him.
I keep my eyes ahead of me and this giant church is filled up. Even if I wanted to I don't think I'd be able to spot her out. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to try at some point.
We approach the altar and I take my spot right next to Dylan. We turn to look down the aisle as the music changes tempo.
Jordana is the first one to walk down the aisle and I smirk to myself as Paul looks like he's ready to faint. I watch him try to keep it together and I smirk to myself.
Aspen walks right behind her and Colton literally starts sweating bullets. It's like he's at his own wedding. I shake my head and start to scan the crowd of people just hoping I might catch a glimpse of her.
But there's so many faces and so many people I don't have any luck with even pointing out the Livelys.
Megan begins to walk down the aisle next and I swear to god Caras jaw is laying on the floor. She might have some drool hanging from her chin. I shake my head with a chuckle and look to see Megan staring at me. She gives me a wink and I chuckle while smiling at the woman.
I hear Cara scoff down the line which causes me to smile even more.
As I look up from the floor my smile fades. My heart hammers within my chest and my eyes soften.
Blake Ellender Lively.
A walking angel.
Her long blonde hair is pulled up into an updo. Her makeup is done to perfection as it only enhances her natural beauty. And the dress she's wearing hugs her in all the right places.
I feel like my heart could explode out of my chest. I promised myself I wouldn't look at her today not until I had everything straightened out with her father. But I can't help it.
Her eyes lock with mine almost immediately and you'd swear we were the only people in this room as the tension and atmosphere only intensifies as we gaze at one another.
I'm so in love with her. Even after four years of being apart, even through all the heartbreak and loss, my heart still belongs to her.
I can't help but let a genuine smile form on my lips as she continues to walk and I watch her breathtaking smile that I've always loved form on hers.

Anyone in this room would probably think the two of us are together, that were a happy couple madly in love with one another because that's the vibes we're giving off.
Once she's in front of me I can't help but let out a shaky breath. I might just die because of how beautiful she is.
She takes one last look at me with a soft smile and takes her spot. It takes everything in me to tear my eyes away from her. But I manage to do so and I watch the ring bearer and flower girl walk down the aisle.
The music picks up and it's time. I watch Dylan let out a shaky breath and as soon as his eyes spot Alexis he's done for. Tears form in his eyes and fall rapidly down his cheeks as he smiles so brightly at the woman he will get to call his wife.
I pat him on the back as she grows closer. He wipes at his eyes and the smile doesn't falter from his lips.
Her father gives her to him and the rest of the ceremony seems to fly by. Love is in the room and it's evident to everyone here. But it's not just Dylan and Alexis's love, it's Blake's and mine.
Before I know it the priest says Dylan may kiss his bride and we all erupt into cheers as he does.
The two are pronounced husband and wife and walk down the aisle hand in hand.
I do exactly what we practiced and I step up and extend my arm out to Blake. The way her eyes are looking at me in this moment makes me forget about everything for a second. She loops her arm within mine and I walk her down the aisle. We follow Dylan and Alexis as they walk towards an awaiting limousine. We climb in after them and I help Blake inside. I take a seat next to her and everyone else climbs in. We all cheer and celebrate the happy couple. It's almost like we're all eighteen again and having the time of our lives like we did at the beach.
We pop the bottles of champagne as the driver drives us around town while the guests from the church enter the reception under the big tent across the street. It gives the planners time to get everything ready.
"I still can't believe you guys were the first to get married!" Cara yells and we all laugh in agreement.
"The gang is back!" Dylan yells and we all cheer before drinking from our glasses.
Everyone seems to get into their own conversations and I look down at my glass as I feel this unsettling feeling in my stomach start to take place.
"I forgot how good you look in a tux." Blake says softly and I can't help but smile as I lift my head and meet her eyes.
That shine, how I've missed it so much.
"Really?" I say making the woman smile and we both chuckle softly. It goes silent between us besides the obvious conversations between our friends.
"I'm sorry about yesterday. I do really want to talk." She softly says and my eyes meet hers again. The sincerity within her eyes lets me know she's serious about this talk between us.
"I know." I softly say and the two of us just stare into one another's eyes until Dylan causes us to break apart as he sits in between us drunk already.
He was always a light weight.
The rest of the ride we continue to celebrate until the limousine comes to a stop at the reception.
"Let's do this!" Dylan says drunkenly, causing us all to laugh. Alexis herself is even tipsy which she normally holds herself back.
We all get out of the limousine and each couple is being introduced as we walk through the tent and to our seats.
Blake and I are the last ones besides the actual bride and groom.
"I never got to tell you earlier because Dylan interrupted us, but you look beautiful Blake." I say whole heartedly and I watch as something changes in her eyes as she stares at me. But our names being announced causes her to look forward.
"The maid of honor and best man, Blake Lively and Y/N Y/LN!" We hear and Blake loops her arm back within mine as we take our first step into the tent. I smile genuinely as we walk down the path and to our seats at the table. Flashes are going off as pictures are being taken.
There's so many faces in this crowded place but as I'm walking I get this tugging feeling within my chest to look towards my right.
And as soon as I do my eyes land on the whole Lively family sitting at a large table. My eyes meet every single one of their faces.
Maybe they wouldn't be stupid enough to bring her to the wedding.
But that quickly leaves my mind as my eyes finally land on her.
As she sits in Sarah's lap I feel my chest tighten, tears quickly fill my eyes.
She's so beautiful.
Her hair is in perfect blonde curls which I know she got from her mother and myself. Her small blue eyes shine brightly, a cute button nose, full little lips, and dimpled cheeks like myself.
I hold my tears at bay and as much as I don't want to I tear my eyes away from my daughter. I look ahead and Megan notices the look on my face. She knows that I just saw Mya.
She gives me a look and I nod my head letting her know I'm okay. I help Blake to her seat before taking my own.
The bride and groom come in next and everyone erupts in cheers. While everyone is staring at them I'm staring at Paul Lively.
He doesn't even know that his whole world is about to come crashing down.
Check mate mother fucker.
