Huang Dewei whined in pain as he felt the guard moving the carriage up and down while they were walking. It was completely dark outside as it probably had been hours since they started their journey. He was tied all inside the carriage while guards were carrying him and there were many guards walking in front and behind him for security reasons and to keep an eye on Huang Dewei to make sure he does not run off. The leader of the royal guards at the palace, Donghai was leading the group with the minister of the international affair. They both were sent by Li Qiang to complete the deal with Huizhongi between the two nations.

Huang Dewei thought about his whole life and felt finally he reached his end. Tears filled in his eyes and for the first time, he cried. Within the past three days, he cried for his pain. From all the pain he received in the past three days, this one was the hardest. First, this one includes forever separation from Wang Lei and second, it will include a life of humiliation. He leaned back as he let himself cry and cursed his fate.

The carriage was going up and down and he was dead silent. Even if Huang Dewei couldn't look outside, he could tell they were probably walking past mountains through the forest. Huang Dewei cried himself when he suddenly felt the carriage stopping and they put him down. Huang Dewei thought they probably reached their destination sooner than they excepted and he felt he was shaking badly due to anxiety and nervousness but there was no moment happening...It was empty silence...

Huang Dewei's breath stopped unknowingly when he felt people moving outside and heard people screaming and hissing like there was a fight taking place outside. Huang Dewei stayed still in his place as he heard voices from the outside of people fighting, probably dying and running off for...He continue hearing sounds coming from outside for some time and then the lock on the carriage was broken and his door opened. He looked up towards a man covered in all blank with a mask and Huang Dewei was all confused. The man moved and reached out his hand to Huang Dewei and pulled him out. He took off the cloth on Huang Dewei's mouth and he let out a loud breath.

'Who are you?' Huang Dewei asked weakly as pulled away from here, but that man moved and started untieing him while Huang Dewei looked around most of the royal guards were dead while some of them run off and many men in blank clothes and masks were standing with their swords.

'I am asking who are you?' Huang Dewei screamed asked terrified and horrified as that man looked at him moved and took off his mask.

'Who else would be here to save you, Huang Dewei.' the man said and Huang Dewei sighed in relief seeing the familiar face.

'Feng Zhi...' Huang Dewei whispered his name who just moved and untie his arms and legs.

'I apologised for being late.' Feng Zhi said and Huang Dewei weakly smiled.

'Well, I would say you are still at the time.' Huang Dewei said as he joked to make the atmosphere light but he hissed in pain. Feng Zhi examined his wounds which were not hidden

'They treated you like an animal.' Feng Zhi said and Huang Dewei just nodded his head as he joked again

'I think they treated me like a whore since they were trading me as a sex toy.' Huang Dewei laugh but Feng Zhi looked at him sternly.

'That is not a joke...Wang Lei would not like that joke.' Feng Zhi said and Huang Dewei stopped laughing as he looked around again.

'Who are these all people?'

'Do you think if Wang Lei is fighting against people inside his palace due to politics, would he will not have his own team...do you think he would be all alone without having his own loyal battlefield warriors and guards. ' Feng Zhi said and Huang Dewei nodded his head. He was surprised but then he was not. Wang Lei was a smart man. He definitely would have his own separate loyal fighter team who would work only for him, not for any rich elite or ministers.

'Well, let's go from here and I will take you to the save place.' Feng Zhi said as he moved and picked up Huang Dewei. Huang Dewei was shocked

'What are you doing?'

'You are too weak...if you will walk you will just slow us down so don't stress and relax. You can trust me.' Feng Zhi explained in response and Huang Dewei thought for a while as he nodded his head.

'Well if Wang Lei trust you then I definitely can too.' Huang Dewei said and Feng Zhi surprised looked at him '...Why you are surprised?' Huang Dewei asked as he saw him surprised.

'He let you call him by his name.' Feng Zhi said and Huang Dewei's eyes widen on realisation and he bite his lips on his stupidity again.

'Sometimes...' Huang Dewei whispered replied in embarrassment. Feng Zhi sighed and started walking.

'You should stop biting your lips...that is a very sensual act and you need to stop.' Feng Zhi said as he felt his heart beating rapidly inside him. Since the time, he went on the mission given by Wang Lei, he definitely misses Huang Dewei which was surprising at first but then he accepted that he probably has a crush on him.

'Yeah, his highness warned me many times as well...he said he would start punishing me if I won't stop...' Huang Dewei said as he laugh innocently and Feng Zhi looked at him. The way he was laughing, Feng Zhi did not take long to understand that Huang Dewei had no idea what punishment Wang Lei probably was talking about.

'You did not get what type of punishment he was talking about, is not? I am not sure whether you are too naive or plain dumb.' Feng Zhi replied back and Huang Dewei frowned at his response.

'I am not dumb...I understand his meaning...he would probably punish me to wash horse ranch, clean up or maybe standing outside under any weather...what else he can give me? I don't think he would beat me or hurt me, right?' Huang Dewei explained as he asked about his concerns. He looked deep into his thoughts.

'No, he would not beat or hurt you...but he would not make you clean ranch, cleaning up in that kind of punishment either.' Feng Zhi responded

'Then what would he do?' Huang Dewei asked curiously and Feng Zhi was surprised by that man's dumbness about romance. He was outstanding at sword fighting, but his romance department was not so great.

'How about you wait and he will let you know... For now, let's just be quiet and go back.' Feng Zhi said and Huang Dewei pouted but then he just nodded his head and looked away. The rest of the walk was in complete silence as they reached a small place in the middle of the forest. They entered the house and Feng Zhi put him down on the bed inside the small room. It was a beautiful small place with everything available.

'I will send a doctor for you. He will treat your wounds. Eat food and get healthy while I will go back to the palace and you hide here...we have to wait till Wang Lei is woken up.' Feng Zhi said and Huang Dewei nodded his head but asked nothing. Feng Zhi looked at his miserable condition and then towards his short hair as he spoke up

'Who did that to your hair?' Feng Zhi asked

'Don't ask...I am already feeling embarrassed about it.' Huang Dewei replied.

'The news spread about what happened with you everywhere ...I also heard you soon will be Wang Lei's concubine?' Feng Zhi asked and Huang Dewei sighed as he answered him.

'I don't think people will let that happen anyway.'

'Don't worry if Wang Lei had decided to do something then it will happen.' Feng Zhi said in a confident tone and Huang Dewei looked toward him and sighed

'Well, I will be going now...I will go and do my own investigation about who was the one who wanted to poison you. I will see you soon. Take care of yourself.' Feng Zhi said and walked out sadly because when the news of him becoming Wang Lei's concubine reached his ears he was heartbroken. Now he knew he need to back off now because he can't have what belonged to the nation's Emperor. His crush was one-sided anyway and now before he could confess his likeness to the other party the other party was already unavailable. He had no option but to give up and that hurt his heart.

The news of Huang Dewei escaping reached Li Qiang's ears and he was furious and angry. He looked toward the lead guard Donghai and walked towards him and started beating him. The guard took all the beating while Li Qiang's felt his brain was burning with rage.

'Find that bastard for me.' Li Qiang ordered as he pushed Donghai and glared at him. Donghai quickly nodded his head and runoff. With his team, Donghai's looked for Huang Dewei everywhere but he was nowhere to be found. The news that Huang Dewei escaped from prison was spread and thousands of coins were put as a reward for the person who would tell his whereabouts, however, nobody came forward.

A few days passed when a guard came running towards Li Qiang who was sitting in his residence. He bowed as he greeted him then spoke up

'His highness had woken up.' The guard told him the news and Li Qiang looked at then nodded his head and started walking. He reached Wang Lei's residence and entered his room. Wang Lei was lying as his eyes were finally open after nine days.

With blurry vision, Wang Lei welcomed back into his world as he rubbed his eyes. He looked up and saw all people around him looking at him with relived and happiness beaming from their eyes. Wang Wei, Xin Ying, Chen Ju, Ai Cong, Li Qiang and even Feng Zhi was here but the person he was looking for...or wanted to see was not here. His guts told him that was not a good sign.

'Huang Dewei...where is Huang Dewei?' Wang Lei whispered and asked Cheng who was standing next to him. Everyone heard him asking about Huang Dewei and half of the people did not like his question but said nothing. They did not like the fact Huang Dewei was the first person he asked about after waking up.

'Your highness, he is not here. He is missing.' Cheng replied respectfully as Wang Lei hissed in pain

'Everyone is here yet you are asking for him? What's so important in him?' Wang Wei asked coldly as Wang Lei looked at everyone as his gaze stopped on Feng Zhi. Feng Zhi understood as he bowed down and spoke up

'He was treated as a suspect for poisoning you and was declared a traitor...he was tortured and beaten and decided to be given away as a sex toy to the ruler of Qi.' Feng Zhi explained the whole thing about which half of the people in the room did not like the fact that it had reached Wang Lei's ears. Everyone knew that Wang Lei will never let anything happen to Huang Dewei. WhereasWang Lei slowly sat up on the bed. Xin Ying moved forward and helped him which he took without refusing. Also, the fact that Feng Zhi knew about the deal between them and the ruler of Qi was shocking to them.

'Nothing like this happen...we took the decision which we think was right...he escaped away from prison.' Li Qiang said in his defence trying to change the information regarding the deal between him and Huizhongi since Wang Lei rejected his deal.

'Where is he now?' Wang Lei asked Feng Zhi while ignoring Li Qiang's statement and they were confused that they just told him he escaped then why he was asking that.

'I have him at a save somewhere...I will go and get him for you.' Feng Zhi said as he bowed down and everyone was surprised and then they realised it was him who helped him in escaping. Li Qiang angrily clenched his fists but said nothing while Wang Lei nodded his head as he ordered

'Yes go and get him.'

'Before I go, I also found out who tried to poison him which you took by mistake.' Feng Zhi said as he looked up towards Wang Lei who shook away his head

'I know who did it and I don't need you telling me about it...whoever that person is...that person I know I am talking to them so for them...I forgive that person...since I was the one who took it instead of Huang Dewei I forgive them for the pain which was caused to me...I forgive that person because that person is important to me...but if that poison would have been taken by Huang Dewei then I would never have forgiven...that is my warning and threat so take it and don't repeat your mistake... I hope you learn from it.' Wang Leo announced as everyone was confused as to who he was talking to except one person in the room and that person was Chen Ju. Wang Leo looked up at her and met his eyes for a second to confirm that he knew it was her and she quickly looked away

'Now go and get him.' Wang Leo ordered him and Feng Zhi nodded his head and walked off while the doctor started his examination again and Wang Lei just leaned back on his bed as he closed his eyes saying nothing to anyone else.
