The maid passed down the fruit juice bottle to the new cook of the royal guard place who nodded her head and walked away with the bottle. The cook went back to the canteen as she made food for everyone else. It was dinner time for all royal guards.

Huang Dewei also came down with Qi Zixin and had his dinner. From the corner of her eyes, the cook was keeping an eye since she needed to fulfil her mission. She patiently waited as she finally saw him finishing his dinner and got up from his chair and started walking back to his room with Qi Zixin.

They were talking and laughing away on some matter when she quickly walked and stopped in front of them. Stopping them to exit from the canteen. They both looked up at her and she bowed down as she greeted them.

'I made this, especially for you.' The cook said as she presented the juice bottle to Huang Dewei who was confused and surprised why she was giving him this.

'You will soon be becoming an Emperor's concubine. That is an honour for you as well as for all of us as a poor nation. I made this out of love to celebrate your honour.' The cook explained and Huang Dewei nodded his head as he smiled. He took the bottle from her. He bowed down and greeted her goodbye then walked out alongside Qi Zixin. They entered inside Huang Dewei's room and Huang Dewei put the juice bottle away on the table to drink later. He was too full to drink anything at this moment.

Qi Zixin stayed with him for while talking and then he went back to his room. Huang Dewei put some medicine on his hand as he still had some marks left which were most likely to last forever. He never in his life saw himself as a jealous man nor did he ever think himself to be possessive, but Wang Lei kept making me feel things he never felt before. To even think, that Huang Dewei would act like this because of his possessiveness was always seem impossible before it actually took place. He was lost at words himself, but then he knew deep down that he probably would act the same if the same incident would occur again.

Huang Dewei sighed then went to his wardrobe and decided to change his clothes. He picked out his night robe and untie his robe. He started taking off his current robe to change when there was a knock on his door and someone entered inside before he could give his permission. Huang Dewei shocked half-naked looked at the person who entered inside and his eyes met Wang Lei. Wang Lei also stopped as he saw him half-naked. His half shoulder and back were exposed as he was looking back towards him. Wang Lei quickly looked away and closed his eyes

'My apologies...I should have waited for your permission.' Wang Lei said as he turned his back and put his hand over his eyes. Huang Dewei quickly put back his robe and then he stopped. He found him cute for acting like this.

'Yes, you should have waited...I might be a slave but I still deserve privacy.' Huang Dewei complained half-jokingly

'I know...I know that was my stupidity.' Wang Lei accepted still looking away and Huang Dewei smiled

'Now quickly change...I will wait and will not look, I promise.' Wang Lei said as he ordered him and Huang Dewei sighed and then started changing while there was a smile playing on his lips. Huang Dewei did not hurry and decided to take his time. He was actually testing Wang Lei's patience who was getting impatient.

'Be quick Huang Dewei...you are taking too long.' Wang Lei complained and Huang Dewei looked at his back as he spoke up

'If you can't keep your promise then you can look.' Huang Dewei said while teasing and challenging him as he finished dressing up

'No, I will keep my promise...Stop tempting me to do wrong. That is the only time I am being nice to you and giving you this offer...Next time, when I will right over you...I will just watch you get change.' Wang Lei warned him as he said and Huang Dewei walked toward him and stopped in front of him.

'Then will I get to see you change in front of me too?' Huang Dewei asked curiously

'If you want to.' Wang Lei simply replied.

'Yes, I definitely want to Huang Dewei whispered replied

'Stop thinking whatever vulgar things you are thinking about Huang Dewei.' Wang Lei warned him as his hand was still on his eyes.

'I don't think you can keep me from thinking...I can think of whatever I want to.' Huang Dewei replied back and Wang Lei snapped his eyes opened and glared at him.

'Are not you getting brave? Are you trying to seduce me, Weiwei?' Wang Lei said as he called him by his new nickname which Huang Dewei liked hearing from his mouth and was getting used to hearing that name from his mouth.

'Is my seduction working on you?' Huang Dewei said as he leaned back on the wall and folded his hand over his chest. He stares at Wang Lei who was looking back at him. Even with short hair, he was memorising with his slick fragile body, pink lips, sharp features, delicate hands and beautiful eyes. Wang Lei thought as he took in his presence.

'Are not you forgetting I am your Emperor and master?' Wang Lei reminded him and a smile was still playing on his lips.

'Right now, all I am thinking of you is as my man...do you know once I will become your concubine, I can never be with someone else...Wife and concubines of the emperor only belong to him and can never separate from him even if they are forced into...it is a treasure to the nation and death penalty is its punishment.' Huang Dewei told him that he did not know about it.

'Yes, you are right but are you going to keep distance between us too? I know I can't give your children, but will you always stay away from me? Huang Dewei asked in a serious tone. Huang Dewei felt weird even asking that question, but the first time he realised how Chen Ju and Ai Cong would have felt. As his concubines, they were here just for his pleasure or as a replacement if Xin Ying could not give him crown prince.

'I am doing this out of respect...respect for your dignity and my nation...I announced in front of my whole nation that there was nothing going on between us and you were treated unfairly based on rumours...Your honour was crashed and you were humiliated based on mere gossip... Nothing had happened between us and nothing will from this point now...not as long you are legally my concubine...then nothing will come between us.' Wang Lei said as he explained and Huang Dewei stood there carefully listening to him.

He felt his breath stop when he heard him.

For me, in this world, you are the definition of my lust and yearning.' Wang Lei confessed and Huang Dewei's eyes widen as he felt his heart rapidly beating inside his chest. All he could do was bite his lips and Wang Lei frustrated sighed.

'You definitely going to start getting punishment from me if you will keep biting like this in my presence in the near future.' Wang Lei warned him and Huang Dewei membered what he was doing unconsciously and quickly stopped biting while Wang Lei moved away. He walked and picked up the juice bottle and stared at it.

'What's that?'

'The cook lady gave me to celebrate becoming your concubine.' Huang Dewei replied as he composed himself to be relaxed and calm.

'Then I should celebrate it too.' Wang Lei said as he opened the bottle and put it in his mouth. He drank some from the bottle then put it back in the drawer and then he stopped. He felt weird...he felt his head whirling... He looked back towards Huang Dewei and then he moved his head and put his hand over his throat...he felt his throat suddenly start burning...something was happening to me.

'What happens, your highness?' Huang Dewei quickly run towards him as he asked in a worry-filled tone upon seeing his face getting all pale. Wang Lei felt everything spinning around him and he fell down to the ground. he felt the pain slowly spreading across his body.

'Oh god, what is happening to you?' Huang Dewei screamed as he got hold of him in his arms and Wang Lei looked toward him

'Call...call the doctor for me...' Wang Lei let the words out painfully as Huang Dewei was beyond panicked as Wang Lei's condition was getting worse. He was fine just a moment ago and now he was all pale and turning blue. Something was definitely wrong with him.

'Doctor...' Huang Dewei as he felt he was losing his mind more than Wang Lei. Wang Lei understood his panic and anxiety. He sighed then moved and got hold of his face.

'You need to be quick...go and get a doctor for me...and don't drink from that bottle.' Wang Lei ordered him in a calm tone and Huang Dewei looked toward him and then nodded his head as Wang Lei fell unconscious in his arms. Huang Dewei felt his breath was taken away but without wasting any more time he run out to get the doctor.
