Huang Dewei was sitting on his bed while reading a book. All he does these days was read a book since he had nothing to do due to his hand injury. His hand was healing little by little and he have not seen Wang Lei for the past few days. He was probably busy but he do send Cheng to check up on him as well doctors. 

Huang Dewei thought when there was a knock on his door. The door opened and Xin Ying entered inside. He was surprised by her presence but he closed away the book and greeted her. He was about to stand up for her but she stopped him

'No need to stand up and greet me. You should rest.' On Xin Ying's words, he stopped and stayed on his bed as he spoke up

'How I can help you, my empress?' Huang Dewei asked respectfully

'Don't be so formal with me Huang Dewei...we are way close with each other for these formalities...we used to share an intimate relationship.' Xin Ying said as she reminded him of their past and Huang Dewei said nothing.

'How are you feeling now?' Xin Ying asked as she looked around his tiny room and Huang Dewei replied

'Better, my hand is getting better.'

'I did not know you were this possessive about my husband Huang Dewei.' Xin Ying said as she started the conversation and Huang Dewei surprised looked up towards her who sarcastically just smile to him. She clearly had meaning behind her statement and Huang Dewei understood it. She probably knew about his feeling regarding Wang Lei. The way he acted anyway who witness would have found out about it.

'I believe you have some kind of misunderstanding.' Huang Dewei said not accepting the whole truth in front of her.

'Are you trying to take your revenge on me since I rejected you for Wang Lei?' Xin Ying asked and Huang Dewei quickly shook away his head

'No, It's nothing like this. Why would I do that?'

'Then are you actually falling for Wang Lei?' Xin Ying asked and Huang Dewei said nothing in response as he heard her laugh

'You have really lost your mind? Do you want to be his whore? I thought you would have more self-respect than this.' Xin Ying said sarcastically and Huang Dewei was hurt by her words. Xin Ying was boiling over anger regarding their relationship from past few days because she was not worry that Huang Dewei had some feeling for Wang Lei, but she knew it was mutual. She knew Wang Lei had feelings for Huang Dewei as well.

'You are having a misunderstanding...we share only a professional relationship.' Huang Dewei replied back in his defend

'Which includes you warming up his bed as well.' Xin Ying taunted and Huang Dewei turned red with ashamed and embarrassment. He can never get used to this gossip about them. Huang Dewei bite his lips as he stayed quiet. He already said to her it was just a misunderstanding yet she was not believing him.

'You should be ashamed of yourself.' Xin Ying screamed furiously as she throw away the vase from his side table and Huang Dewei jumped in his place.

'People like him don't feel any shame.' A person entered inside said and they looked towards the person who just had entered and it was Chen Ju. Ai Cong entered following closely behind her. Huang Dewei was surprised by their presence but Xin Ying was not as she explained

'I asked what she knew about you and Wang Lei's relationship and she told me about rumours which I never heard before. I was shocked and surprised.' Xin Ying said and Huang Dewei was dumbfounded. He had not understood what all these women wanted from him. They had everything including money, statue, power and position while Huang Dewei was just a cheap slave. While, through their eyes, he had what they wanted the most and that was Wang Lei. He had Wang Lei wrapped around his figure like a puppet and they can't digest that Wang Lei would choose him over them.

'You need to leave from here if you do what we say then you will be forgiven otherwise you deserve a punishment.' Chen Ju threatened him and Huang Dewei came out of his bed as he spoke up.

'I am not leaving...I don't work for you.' He was extremely baffled about the whole situation. What was happening and why? He had no idea.

'Very well...don't say anything to us afterwards because you made that choice yourself.' Chen Ju said and Huang Dewei was confused when he heard Chen Ju clap her hands and two guard men entered inside. They bowed down to her as they greeted her

'Do your work.' Chen Ju ordered and Huang Dewei was still confused when those men walked toward him and pinned him down on the floor. Huang Dewei was a strong man himself with great sword skills he quickly pushed them away when Chen Ju clapped her hand and two more men entered inside. They all jumped on Huang Dewei and pinned him down on the floor while overpowering his strength. Two were holding his legs and one was holding his arms while the fourth one took out the scissors and Huang Dewei's eyes widen.

'You are doing this wrong...' Huang Dewwi screamed warned them as he looked towards Xin Ying for help who looked away guilty while the other two stayed still with hated expressions especially Chen Ju while the man moved the scissors and started cutting his hair. Huang Dewei struggled as he screamed in pain but nobody came for his help. Cutting hair was usually considered a punishment, especially humiliation punishment where wives cut the hair of women who are usually mistresses of their husbands. They cut their hair as a symbol of an affair to show to the rest of the world. Since Wang Lei was allowed to have three concubines (mistresses) legally so Chen Ju and Ai Cong were not considered someone who was having affair with him, but Huang Dewei who was treated as a sex toy was definitely someone who deserved to be humiliated.

'Stop it...' Huang Dewei screamed but they kept cutting his hair while those three women stood there and watch this happening in front of them. Xin Ying felt guilty, Ai Cong also was not liking that treatment with him, however, Chen Ju was enjoying it. It was her idea anyway. The man stopped as they moved away and Huang Dewei sat up with his hair which was now chopped to his shoulder. He touched them as he looked at the floor which was filled with his hair and he stood up.

'You did wrong...' Huang Dewei said as water filled in his eyes but he controlled it. He did not want to break down in front of them. The most he was hurt by Xin Ying. How she can do that to him? How did she let this happen in front of her?

'You deserve it.' Chen Ju bitterly spits out the words then turned over and walked off while Ai Cong silently followed her out. Huang Dewei looked at Xin Ying.

'I did not expect this from you.' Huang Dewei said in a heartbroken tone

'I did not expect from you either that you will take my husband away from me as revenge.' Xin Ying replied back

'I told you I am not taking any revenge from you.'

'Then go away from here and never come back.' Xin Ying said then turned over and walked out while Huang Dewei stares at the empty room for a while and then broke down. He was crying as he could not help it. He felt helpless when the door burst open and Qi Zixin entered inside. He was outside and he knew what was happening but he did not dare come inside and stop them. End of the day, he was just a slave as well just like Huang Dewei.

'Huang Dewei...' Qi Zixin called out his name as he run towards him and hugged him who was crying. He felt sad for him too and he knew how humiliated he would have been feeling. The gossip about him and the emperor has spread like a wildfire now even more.

'Don't cry...Huang Dewei calms down...' Qi Zixin said as he consoled him while Huang Dewei just kept crying. He could not believe that just had happened to him. It was not even his fault.

'These people in power think nothing of us...Shall we go and tell his highness everything?' Qi Zixin said and Huang Dewei snapped looked up towards him and shook away his head

'No, don't let him know anything.' Huang Dewei said as he cleaned off his tears and Qi Zixin just nodded his head

'Are you sure?'

'Yes, he probably would not even care either Qi Zixin...these are all just rumours. We are nothing to each other...Do you think he would fight off his wife and mistresses for some slave like me?' Huang Dewei replied and asked questions and Qi Zixin sighed because he was probably right. He was emperor while Huang Dewei was just a slave. Even if he was his sex toy, he was still nothing compared to his wife and mistresses. He nodded his head in understanding and just consoled him.

Late in the night, Huang Dewei was staring at himself in the small mirror in his room and his hair was a mess. His long hair was gone and now he had shoulder-length hair which was not length properly. They were just chopped randomly and he was indeed very humiliating. Tears formed again and he started crying. He does look weak but that was the most he had ever been humiliated and that too unfairly. He came back to his bed to sleep and could not sleep all night. He was not sure what to do whether he should wear a wig to hide from the rest of the world or he should not care about the world.

The next morning, he had reached his decision. He wore his uniform and it was a day to report back to his work. Everywhere he walked passed, people were shocked and looked at him in a whisper. He knew what kind of rumours must be spent. People who had no idea would now know about it...they all looked towards him with disgust...they all were looking like he was whore In the end, he decided not to wear the wig. He was here with his shoulder-length hair.

He walked towards the royal court since today was court hearing day and it was perfect day for him to be here. He knew everyone would be present there so his heart was rapidly beating inside his chest. There was still a chance for him to run away before he entered the royal court but once he entered inside like this then there was no turning back. He thought and with a last deep breath, he entered inside.

Everyone inside the royal court looked towards him who walked and stopped in the middle as he greeted Wang Lei. As soon Wang Lei's gaze fell on his condition he froze as his eyes widen. People had started whispering bad words for him and after greeting Wang Lei, he walked and stood on the national stand. That was a stand put in the court for the nation to come and ask for justice from their Emperor.

Xin Ying, Chen Ju and Ai Cong were all shocked and stunned as well. They thought, he would come wearing a wig and would hide his humiliation but they were shocked at how he reacted.

'As a slave of your nation, I am here with my complaint.' Huang Dewei started off his complaint as their complete silence in the court. Everyone was interested in what he was about to say.
