Huang Dewei looked towards him as they were silently walking with each other. The emptiness of the small streets and stars shining in the sky was making the atmosphere warm while there was a storm inside Huang Dewei's mind. He still could feel a burning sensation on his leg where he touched him. And as much he wanted to ask why he did, he could not say a word.

'Did you hear anything important at the party?' Wang Lei asked while breaking the silence between them

'They were talking about your meeting with the ruler of Qi country and that you should stay away from the matter of these poor kids since nobody cares about them.' Huang Dewei said and Wang Lei nodded his head as he have not looked at him. Huang Dewei was looking toward him while trying to read his feeling, but his face was emotionless.

'Anything else?'

'They also said that people behind these kids would try to kill you if you tried to find too much about them.' Huang Dewei said seriously remembering their death threat for his life when he heard Wang Lei's laugh.

'Are you laughing? Do you think that's a joke?' Huang Dewei asked getting a little angry but Wang Lei kept laughing.

'Because it is fun knowing that they think my life is important.' Wang Lei said as he laugh like it was still funny. Huang Dewei wanted to say something but he angrily sighed and looked away. Why does he think his life is not important? What makes him think that nobody cares about his existence?

'Who do have suspious that is behind those poor children killing?' Huang Dewei asked curiously as Wang Lei looked at him.

'I don't know. I just have a doubt that it could be someone who works at the palace or in a higher position, but I could be completely wrong.' Wang Lei explained, that once he stopped laughing, but he was still smiling. and Huang Dewei just nodded his head.

'That's it. Is there anything else they gossip about?' Wang Lei asked after a few seconds breaking the silence and Huang Dewei looked at him and then he spoke up

'They also said you quickly moved on from your previous royal guard who was also your lover.' Huang Dewei carefully said those words and then he saw Wang Lei's smile disappearing as he stopped in his track and looked back at him.

'What?'

'They said your previous royal guard was your lover.' Huang Dewei said but it was more like he was asking for confirmation while Wang Lei was shocked.

'That is bullshit.' Wang Lei said as he fumed with anger.

'So he was not your lover?' Huang Dewei asked still wanting to confirm and Wang Lei glared at him because he was not liking his question or his tone.

'It is a baseless rumour. He was like a brother to me.' Wang Lei screamed as he clenched his fist vexed.

'So there was nothing between you and him?' Huang Dewei asked

'Yes, there was nothing between me and him.' Wang Lei replied as he sighed to calm himself

'I thought you mess with him like you are messing with me...I felt sorry for him.' Huang Dewei ruthlessly and Wang Lei dumbfounded looked at him at his words.

'Do you think I am messing with you?' Wang Lei asked

'Do you think you are not? Then explain to me what were you doing just in the room a while ago? Do you think what you did to me was not sexual?' Huang Dewei asked straightforwardly call out Wang Lei on his behaviour who was even more taken back by his straightforwardness. He did not expect Huang Dewei to call him out like this. He shocked open and close his mouth but nothing come up to him.

'Do you have a thing for your personal royal guards?' Huang Dewei asked coldly as they both were glaring at each other

'Huang Dewei, you need to control your words.' Wang Lei warned him because he clearly did not like his words.

'Then you need to control your mouth which keeps touching me, your highness.' Huang Dewei snapped

'I thought you love somebody else.' Wang Lei asked back in a ruthless tone as they both were staring at each other.

'I have no one in my life at this moment.' Huang Dewei replied back and Wang Lei sighed as he closed his eyes

'You have not replied back to me. What were you doing in that room? Why did you do it?' Huang Dewei comes back to his question because he really needs a clear answer about them...about their relationship.

'I..I...don't know...I really don't know what I am doing?' Wang Lei whispered back in respond and his response make Huang Dewei even angrier.

'Great...and you are okay to fuck your wife after kissing me.' Huang Dewei screamed asking because that was still bothering him and Wang Lei shocked looked at him and then grabbed his face angrily as he tighten his grip pulling him towards him.

'Don't talk about her in that language...' Wang Lei screamed mercilessly and Huang Dewei was shocked by his reaction. Slowly, Wang Lei's eyes widen at his action and slowly filled with regret as he let go of his face while Huang Dewei's eyes filled with hurt. That was his statue...he is nothing more than a slave and would be nothing more than a sex toy if they get into any relationship. He can never be as equal as Xin Ying ever in this lifetime.

'I understand. Please forgive my language, your highness. I will be more careful in my choice of words next time about your wife. ' Huang Dewei quickly said as he bowed down to him and Wang Lei bite his lips. He wanted to cut off his hand which he used to treat him this harshly. Huang Dewei turned over to walk off but Wang Lei quickly got hold of his hand and pulled him back

'Listen Huang Dewei...'

'Let go of me...' Huang Dewei screamed but Wang Lei pulled him closer in his embrace as Huang Dewei angrily struggle to come out

'I am sorry...please...forgive me...that was stupid...I am really sorry...I have really lost my mind.' Wang Lei apologised remorseful and guilty.

'I am not interested...I understand that you could not bear to hear foul words from someone as cheap as me about your wife. I am just happy you did not chop my tongue off since you can if you wanted to.' Huang Dewei said in a sarcastic tone and Wang Lei sighed.

'It's not about my wife Huang Dewei...I already regretted that action. It was my doing and Xin Ying is a nice woman. She does not deserve to hear those words from your mouth. I just wanted you to respect her as a woman, not just as my wife.' Wang Lei explained and Huang Dewei looked toward him and sighed to calm himself down. He was right. Xin Ying is indeed a nice woman and she doesn't deserve that kind of word for her. She was also his ex-lover. Huang Dewei should always respect her.

'What do you want from me, Wang Lei? Just tell me...what do you want me?' Huang Dewei whispered asked helplessly while calling his name. He really needed to know what he wanted from him because right now all he was doing was messing around with him.

'I want to have you...but...I don't want to be like my father.' Wang Lei replied in the same helplessness as he looked at him. He knew Wang Lei hated his father but this much, he never expected it.

'But I promise you that I never have mess with you neither I ever do all the stuff I am doing with you with someone else. I don't have a thing for my persona royal guard either, but I just have a thing for you. Let's not make this situation any harder for us. Let's just keep the professional relationship between us.' Wang Lei said and Huang Dewei looked towards him and then nodded his head. It was not like he had a choice.

'I understand, your highness.' Huang Dewei said as slowly came out from his embrace and made the distance between them.

'Did you find anything in Madam Si's locker?' Huang Dewei asked in a professional tone while getting back to their work and Wang Lei sighed. His tone does hurt but that was what Wang Lei wanted.

'There were no records of any kids being there, but I did find a document contact between madam Si and a man called Bolin which seem suspicious. They had just their sign on the document regarding the selling of alcohol and money however, the price per alcohol bottle is extremely high. It looks suspicious. We need to find that man and investigate him. He should be a merchant and seller according to those documents. ' Wang Lei explained as they started walking again and Huang Dewei nodded his head

'Is anything you want me to do in finding him?'

'No Feng Zhi will find him. He has people doing that kind of stuff for him and he is good going undercover.' Wang Lei said and Huang Dewei nodded his head in understanding

'I can go with him. I wanted to be a help.' Huang Dewei said and Wang Lei looked towards him and then remembered a kiss between them.

'No, you are not going with him anywhere alone.' Wang Lei ordered without another thought and Huang Dewei confused looked at him at his statement. Why he can't go with him alone? The incident of the kiss did not even occur in Huang Dewei's mind since it does not matter to him.

'I mean you work for me here. Since people wanted to kill me don't you think you should stay here protecting me?' Wang Lei said as he made an excuse to not show his jealousy while reminding him about the death threats and Huang Dewei sighed then nodded his head in understanding because he was not wrong. Protecting Wang Lei was his duty.

'I understand, your highness.' Huang Dewei said and Wang Lei also nodded his head. The rest of the journey was in complete silence as they reached back to the palace. They both parted away and went back to their room. Huang Dewei changed his clothes while he stares at the red mark on his thigh then went back to his bed.

On the other hand, Wang Lei changed his clothes and looked at his hand. He really regretted his action of treating him badly with his hand. He thought for a while and then he saw a candle at the side. He walked towards him, stares at the fire flame on the candle for a few seconds and then put his hand over that flame. He probably lost his mind, but he hated the fact that he was the one who hurt him.

He bite his lips to not hiss in the pain as the skin of his hand was burning. He stood still for a while as he felt immune pain spreading in his body and he slowly put away his hand. He looked at the palm of his hand and it was all red and burned. He blow off the candle and then went to his bed but sleep was miles away from him. He remembered the action he did in the room and he remembered why he did it. That jealousy inside him made him do it but the softness of his skin was still fresh in his mind. The moan which escaped from his mouth was pleasing to Wang Lei. He wanted to hear more of those but he probably never will.

He just rejected him today but the desire for him also increases in Wang Lei's heart. He wanted him but now he should control himself. He already caused him enough pain and if he would turn up like his father, he would never been able to forgive himself. His mother will never forgive him either. Wang Lei said to himself as he tried to build walls around his heart for Huang Dewei but it does seem harder than he thought.
