There was complete silence as they walked together towards the road which leads to Wang Lei's office when he heard Wang Lei.

'I told you to rest and meet me at night time. How are you feeling now?'

'Fine.' Huang Dewei replied coldly and Wang Lei stopped then he turned over towards him.

'You are not looking happy?'

'Why did you do that, your highness? Does poor people's life does not matter? Does our life is nothing to you? We are your nation and you are ignoring our lives for fruits. That is a cheap deal.' Huang said fuming and complaining like a child as Wang Lei could not help and slightly smile at his behaviour.

'You are such a child, Huang Dewei.' Wang Lei said and Huang Dewei pouted like a cute child

'That is not funny. It is a serious matter.'

'Why are you angry about this?'

'Because it's your responsibility to look after your poor nation. I did not expect this from you, your highness that you will abandon us like this.'

'What makes you think that I have abandoned my poor nation, Huang Dewei. Don't you think you should trust me?' Wang Lei asked as he was looking towards him enjoying this conversation.

'I did trust you but you broke it. I felt like now If something happens to me tomorrow I will be so easy for you to move on since I am poor whose life does not matter.' Huang Dewei said as he complained

'You are such as dramatic queen, Huang Dewei.' Wang Lei said as he could not help and enjoy teasing him because he was being overly emotional

'It's not funny, your highness.' Huang Dewei said as he glared towards him and Wang Lei folded his hand over his chest as he was really enjoying the whole conversation.

'Why? I find it funny.'

'Well, that is probably because I am not that important to you.' Huang Dewei replied as he was not liking that Wang Lei was not taking him seriously while he was dead serious

'You are stupid Huang Dewei. You are very important to me and trust me I will not let anything happen to you.' Wang Lei said he moved his hand and put a hair strand that had fallen on his face behind his ear. Huang Dewei's face turned red as he looked away. Wang Lei liked that shy look on his face.

'What about those poor kids?' Huang Dewei asked getting back to the topic as he was not getting satisfied that those poor kids death was being ignored

'You are very soft-hearted, Huang Dewei. Do those kids matter that much to you? You did not even know them.' Wang Lei asked

'Yes, they matter. Every life matters to me and it should matter to you too, your highness.' Huang Dewei said with a passion.

'Wow, is it time to get a lecture from you now?' Wang Lei said still teasing him and Huang Dewei sighed annoyed

'Forget it. I think I am talking to the wall.' Huang Dewei said giving up and Wang Lei bite his lips to hide his smile. He was thoroughly enjoying teasing him. He was so emotional and Wang Lei found him to be innocent. He was feeling pain for others like his own and Wang Lei thought he was being cute. He also did that same last night when he went out with Qi Zixin because he could not say no and also to keep Wang Lei's secret from others. He always thinking about others before himself. Wang Lei thought when someone stopped next to him and they both snapped their head towards him. It was Feng Zhi.

'Feng Zhi, my friend. How are you?' Wang Lei asked diverting his attention towards Feng Zhi and Huang Dewei glared towards him. He did not like his presence.

'I am fine, your highness. '

'Don't be so formal. You are my friend. Call me by my name.' Wang Lei said and Feng Zhi smiled whereas Huang Dewei frowned. He asked him to call his name last night and Huang Dewei felt special but now that guy can call him by his name too.

'And meet my new personal bodyguard Huang Dewei and Huang Dewei that is my trusted friend Feng Zhi.' Wang Lei introduced them to each other and they both greeted each other and they both could feel awkward vibes between the two.

'Anyway well done, you did as I told you to do.' Wnag Lei said as he praised Feng Zhi who nodded his head and Huang Dewei just stood there confused.

'But why do you want to bring those kids topic up in front of everyone else Wang Lei. That was something you were working on in the secret from the past year.' Feng Zhi asked curiously and Huang Dewei surprised looked towards him. Wang Lei looked at the surprised look on his face and felt satisfied.

'I told you, you should trust me Huang Dewei. I have not abandoned those kids nor I will abandon you.' Wang Lei said in a serious tone and Huang Dewei said nothing in response while this time, it was Feng Zhi who turned to be confused and puzzled.

'I did it because I just wanted to see everyone reactions. I wanted to see how they react if they know this thing has been reached to me. They will probably do something now about it. Let's wait for their next move and you send the report regarding those kids to my office.' Wang Lei explained as he looked towards Feng Zhi who nodded his head in response

'Did you receive the letter I left at the information centre?' Feng Zhi asked next and Wang Lei nodded his head as Huang Dewei looked between them and realised that was the guy who send that letter.

'Yes, I did. Huang Dewei is the one who got that letter for me.' Wang Lei said and Feng Zhi spared a cold look to Huang Dewei then looked back towards Wang Lei. Huang Dewei rolled his eyes like a child at Feng Zhi's behaviour

'But Wang Lei, you knew I was coming back today anyway then why did you ask me to send a letter like this. I could have brought it with me?' Feng Zhi asked and Wang Lei looked towards him and spoke up

'Because I don't want anyone to get a suspicion of you or us. What if someone caught you in your way. It is a risky move for you.' Wang Lei said concerned for his friend's life and Huang Dewei looked towards him and then he felt irritated over his words and his care for Feng Zhi. He wanted to scream what about Huang Dewei's life which he almost lost while getting that letter for him. His life probably does not matter to Wang Lei as much Feng Zhi does. Huang Dewei thought sadly.

'What are you going to do now, Wang Lei?' Feng Zhi asked next

'I am going tonight to the place you said in the letter needed to be checked to get our further clue.' Wang Lei replied

'Do you want me to come with you?' Feng Zhi asked

'No, he is going with me. We can trust him and he is pretty.' Wang Lei said as he pointed towards Huang Dewei who was already confused regarding their conversation and also was taken back after hearing Wang Lei calling him pretty.

'What?' Huang Dewei asked puzzled

'Yes, you are right. I think I know what you are thinking?' Feng Zhi said as he scanned Huang Dewei who felt uncomfortable under his intense gaze. He clearly just check Huang Dewei out. Huang Dewei was still very confused and was hoping that they will explain everything to him.

'Don't be confused. Go with Feng Zhi and he will explain to you everything.' Wang Lei said as insurance while looking at Huang Dewei's confused and troubled face. Whereas Huang Dewei did not like that he was asking Feng Zhi to explain to him. He already does not like that guy.

'No, I want you to explain to me not him. I work for you, not for him.' Huang Dewei said in a bitter tone and Feng Zhi was taken back from his words and tone in front of Wang Lei.

'Have you lost your mind?' Feng Zhi asked coldly over his disrespectful behaviour.

'You can give me another punishment if you wanted me for disrespecting you, but I am not going to listen to anybody else's order nor will work under them. I am poor too but I am not as naive as you all think us poor people to be.' Huang Dewei said rudely looking towards Feng Zhi as he glared towards him.

'Huang Dewei, apologise to Fencg Zhi right away.' They heard Wang Lei and Huang Dewei looked towards him hurtfully

'I don't want to.' Huang Dewei replied and Feng Zhi was taken back from his courage. What was up with this guy? and why Wang Lei was so calm about his behaviour?'

'Can't you hear me? Apologise to Feng Zhi. I know you work under me but that is not a way to talk to Feng Zhi like this.' Wang Lei said in a cold tone and Huang Dewei was hating that Wang Lei was taking his side

'It's fine Wang Lei. Don't worry about me. He was ruder with you. You should apologise to Wang Lei instead of me.' Feng Zhi said as he glared towards Huang Dewei and he actually felt he was being ruder with Wang Lei instead of him.

'My apologies, your highness if I was rude to you.' Huang Dewei said as he bowed apologizing to Wang Lei without wasting a second and Feng Zhi was little taken back from his behaviour. Does that mean he only has a problem apologizing to Feng Zhi?

'I am fine. But you need to apologise to Feng Zhi.' Wang Lei said he glared towards Huang Dewei because he was being a spoilt brat who shook away his head

'You can give me punishment.' Huang Dewei said stubbornly

'Well, you like the punishment then apologised to Feng Zhi and that is your punishment.' Wang Lei ordered and Huang Dewei was taken back because he did not know Wang Lei would do that. That was really a punishment to him and he pouted sorrowfully

'Now will be better Huang Dewei.' Wang Lei ordered as he glared towards him.

'I am apologised for behaving rudely with you.' Huang Dewei said half-heartedly then bow his head down. Feng Zhi said nothing whereas Huang Dewei glared towards him and walked off.

'That is a weird character I ever see. Does he want to die with this behaviour?' Feng Zhi said concerned whereas Wang Lei started laughing which surprised Feng Zhi.

'Well, at least it showed that his loyalties only belong to me, don't you think?' Wang Lei asked and Feng Zhi nodded his head in yes because it does prove that Huang Dewei was extremely loyal to Wang Lei.

'I hope he won't betray us.' Feng Zhi said

'He won't.' Wang Lei said with a trust-filled tone and Feng Zhi was surprised to see that much trust in Wang Lei's tone for a guy who came just some time ago. He prays he won't betray Wang Lei because Wang Lei seem to be really trusted and adored that guy

'Anyway don't worry. I will handle him and will explain to him everything. You go and have a rest. It was a long journey for you.' Wang Lei ordered and Feng Zhi nodded his head respectful as bowed down and Wang Lei turned over and started walking back towards his office but this time all alone and somehow he missed Huang Dewei's presence.
