Tw: Being drunk

Pov y/n

The next morning I wake up with Scarlett by my side.

Usually, she is already gone when I wake up because she has to be at set early but since she's taking Rose with her today, she'll go a little later, giving Rose the opportunity to sleep in a little bit.

"Good morning, bug." I mumble and roll to my side, to be able to see her. She smiles sleepily at me.

"Good morning, angel." She replies and I smile a little at her raspy morning voice.

I lift my hand to her face and slowly start to trace her facial features. She lets me do it and smiles softly at me. I cup her face and peck her lips shortly. She pouts a little.

"You get a real one after I got rid of my morning breath." I explain and she sighs but agrees.

Our calm moment is interrupted by the door opening and our little girl running in.

She is more awake than I thought and climbs onto the bed, sitting down on Scarlett's stomach. I look at her in a little confusion. She wears a dress but it's on the wrong side, the zipper is up front. Scarlett notices it to and holds onto Rose's legs to keep her from falling off.

"Come on, Mommy, up! I wanna see Aunty Lizzie and Flo and you said Uncle Chris will be there as well." She demands lightly and wiggles around a little.

I glance over to Scar at the mention of Chris and only now I understand what kind of movie she is shooting right now.

"Alright, alright, I'm getting up." Scarlett chuckles and pokes Rose into her sides, making the girl giggle before she drops off Scarlett and next to me.

Scar gets up and grabs a robe before shortly disappearing into the ensuite. I look back at Rose.

"Are you excited to see Lizzie, Flo and Chris again?" I ask and Rose sits up and looks at me, nodding.

"I am and I can't wait to get there. Mommy said it's a really cool set." Rose lets me know and I smile at her excitement.

"Is that why you dressed yourself already?" I ask and point to her dress. She nods and tugs a little on the dress.

"It looks very cute but how about I help you put it on the right way?" I offer and Rose nods and stands up on the bed while I sit up.

"It's very hard to zip it in the back, so I put it on this way." She explains and I chuckle a little.

"That is true, it is very hard." I agree and open the zipper.

Rose pulls her arms out of the sleeves and I turn the dress around until the zipper is on her back and her arms are through the sleeves again before I zip it.

"All done." I say and pad her sides. She spins around to me with a big smile.

"Thank you, Mama. Can you also make me breakfast? Mommy always takes so long in the morning." She complains lightly and I laugh.

"That's because she has to get ready for work." I explain and stand up.

Rose shrugs and before I can move, she jumps onto my back, wrapping her arms and legs around me.

I huff a little at the sudden impact but wrap my arms around her legs and butt to keep her up and carry her downstairs.

"What would you like to have for breakfast?" I ask and set her down on the counter before helping her onto a barstool. She thinks about it before her face lights up.

"Ice cream!" She cheers and I laugh.

"That does sound promising but I'm afraid that's not a very healthy breakfast." I deny her and she purses her lips in thought.

"Waffles?" She asks and I nod.

"Alright, waffles with some fruits." I compromise and Rose nods.

I let her help me mix the batter and while the waffles are made, I chop some fruits. Scarlett enters the kitchen, dressed and all ready for the day. She kisses the top of Rose's head.

"It smells amazing." She compliments and I smile at her in thanks before handing her a cup of coffee. Her eyes grow big.

"You even made me a coffee?" She asks before taking a sip and sighing happily.

"Of course." I say and put an apple slice into my mouth.

"That's wife material." Scarlett mumbles under her breath before kissing my cheek and I blush a little at her words and feel a little tingle inside my body at her words.

We have breakfast together before Scarlett and Rose have to go and I kiss both of them goodbye before quickly taking care of the dirty dishes.

I have pretty much a whole day to myself, well until Rose comes back. What do I wanna do?

I think about it and go upstairs to our bedroom, searching through the closet to find the dress I planned to wear on Lizzie's wedding.

I look at it. It is a nice dress but not very festive if I'm being honest. Maybe I can go to the city and see if I find one that I like better.

I hang the dress back up and think about if I need anything else from the city. My eyes drop to the bottom of the closet where I stored my suitcase. I know very well what's inside: the photo album my mother gave me for Christmas.

So far, I didn't get the chance to fill it but today seems like the perfect day for it.

I sit down on the bed and for like an hour or so, I scroll through all my pictures and mark the ones I want to put in the album. There are quite a lot but the album has a lot of pages, so it works.

I text Scarlett's driver, which still feels a little weird but I for sure won't be walking into the city.

He replies quickly and tells me he will be there in fifteen minutes. I use that time to get ready and presentable to step outside.

The drive into the city doesn't take very long and I thank him and get out of the car. He tells me to just shoot him a quick message when I want to be picked up again and I tell him I will.

I spend the rest of the morning strolling around the city, looking for a nice dress. I also try some on but most of the don't really feel right. Slowly but surely, I lose motivation but when I see a beautiful dress, that is chick and appropriate for a wedding, I decide to try it on.

Just putting it on feels right already and when I look into the mirror, I know that this is the dress I wanna wear.

It's a little pricey but I can afford it and I deserve some nice things too every once in a while.

With the dress in a bag, I head to a shop to print out the pictures I chose.

It takes quite a while since I chose a lot of pictures, so I look around the shop a little and am on my phone.

I grin when I see that Lizzie sent me a picture of her and Rose laughing into the camera.

She wrote 'stole your girl' underneath with a winking emoji. I laugh and text her back that I'll get Rose back soon enough.

Lizzie types and I have to stifle a laugh at her responds, saying she's the strongest Avenger and that I don't have a chance against her.

I tell her that my girlfriend is literally Black Widow, to which she only responds with an emoji sticking out its tongue.

Around ten minutes later I get a picture and text from Flo with Rose, saying she stole Rose from Lizzie, proofing that Yelena is stronger.

Rose seems to enjoy their little battle by the way she laughs brightly into the camera and it makes my heart happy to see it.

Flo is in her costume and make-up and has more resemblance with Yelena now. I'm not sure if she's allowed to take this kind of pictures on set but I don't mind them at all.

Thinking about it, Lizzie didn't seem to be wearing a costume, at least not really. She was wearing a wig and make-up but the rest of her seemed usual but what do I know?

In Infinity War she also fought in casual clothes in the beginning.

Finally, all the pictures are done and I put them in a little folder before going to the register to pay for them. I text Scar's driver to pick me up and while I wait, I hop into a store and buy microwave popcorn, just in case Rose and I want to make a movie night tonight.

Back home, I grab the photo album from my suitcase and bring it downstairs and into the living room. I spread all the photos on the coffee table and start sorting them after the date they've been taken on and it almost feels a little like I am traveling through time, reliving all those small moments.

I smile at some of the very first pictures I have with them. I wasn't even together with Scarlett at this point. All of them are pretty cute, I have to admit that and I smile at the pictures from Thanksgiving that Chris, where Rose directed Scarlett and me how to sit.

The pictures from Christmas are also adorable and I trace my finger over my family.

I laugh a little at one picture of Scarlett with flour on her face from some baking we did with Rose.

My eyes dart to one picture and I take it into my hands.

It shows Rose and me on the ferry to see the Statue of Liberty. I am crouched down next to her, my arm around her and my hand resting on her stomach. She beams into the camera.

My heart beats a little faster when I remember that the night before she asked me if it was okay if she saw me as a mother. We've come quite a way since then and I wouldn't want to have it any other way.

I put the picture back down and grab the photo album, starting to stick the pictures inside, writing the date beneath and here and there a little note to what we've done or so.

It takes me quite a while and I soon turn on some music to play in the background, mindlessly singing along and bopping my head.

When I am finally done, I am more than happy with the outcome and bring the photo album upstairs. I want it to be a surprise for Scar once it's full.

The clock tells me that I have a little bit of time left until my girls come home, so I take my book and get comfortable on the balcony.

When I hear voices inside, I close my book and step into the living room, seeing Scarlett and Rose arrive. Rose wiggles around happily and when she sees me, she comes running to me. I catch her when she launches herself at me.

"Hey, sunshine. How was it?" I ask and sit down on the couch with her.

With big eyes she tells me what she did today and who she met and proudly shows me the 'tattoo' Flo gave her. Scarlett settles down next to me, one arm placed around me and looking at Rose as well.

"When did Flo did that?" She asks a little confused when Rose pulls her sleeve back down, covering the pen drawing.

"When you were filming a scene with Uncle Chris." Rose tells her and continues to tell me what she saw today. Scarlett hums a little and when I side glance at her, I can tell she didn't know about the 'tattoo'. But since it's easily removable, she seems to decide that it doesn't bother her.

When Rose has to use the bathroom, Scarlett pulls me into a hug, kissing me lovingly and asking me what I did today. I tell her I bought a new dress and when she asks to see it, I tell her she has to wait until Saturday. She murmurs something that I don't catch but I kiss her lips and she sighs, giving into the feeling.

Her eyes dart to the clock and she huffs a little.

"I don't wanna let go, you are so comfy." She whines a little, holding me a little tighter. I smile and kiss her cheek.

"But it's Lizzie's bachelorette party, you can't miss that." I remind her softly and she grumbles.

"I'm sure Ashley and Mary-Kate could do the preparations without me."

I laugh a little and kiss her cheek again.

"They probably could but it would be kind of you to help." I point out and she sighs and nuzzles her face into my neck.

"I don't wanna be kind, I want cuddles." She mumbles and I giggle a little at the tickling of her breath against my skin.

"You get all the cuddles you want , either tonight or tomorrow, depending on if I am awake when you come back." I say and she lifts her face out of my neck.

"Fine." She agrees and I brush my thumb over her cheek, making her smile.

"Oh and...it's a bachelorette party, so I might come home a little...energetic or horny, I don't know." She blushes a little and I laugh.

"You're gonna have some drinks, I know. But you're a grown woman, I am sure you know your limit and can handle yourself. And don't worry about your mood when you come home, I can handle everything. But I can already tell you, there will be no sex tonight because drunk consent is no real consent." I say and hold up one finger to underline my point.

She smiles softly at me and takes my hand to kiss my palm before putting it to her cheek.

"You are the most considerate soul, do you know that?" She asks softly and I raise my eyebrows a little in confusion.

"Because I don't count drunk consent as real consent?" I ask and she nods a little.

"Yeah and because you have trust in me and already assure me to take care of me later on, just in case I had a little bit too much to drink. You didn't even think twice about me being horny before you told me about the consent thing." She lists of and I smile a little.

"Those are all things that are obvious to me. I mean, of course I trust you and will take care of you later on. And I would never want to take advantage of you having a few drinks." I say and Scarlett's hands come up to cup my face.

"And those are just a few of the many reasons why I love you." She whispers and kisses me softly. I return the kiss and for a while out lips dance together as if they were meant to be.

"Maybe there are just too many dipshits in the world who lower the general standard when it comes to partners." I mumble and Scarlett laughs, letting go of my face.

"Who's a dipshit?" I hear a children's voice and internally facepalm myself.

Scarlett bites her lip to contain her laugh.

"That's your thing to take care of." She says and pecks my lips before getting up to quickly go change. I take a little breath and turn around to Rose.

"No one, that word slipped. But it's a bad word, so please don't say that to anyone, okay?" I ask and Rose steps closer, looking at me.

"I shouldn't have said that either, it can hurt people's feelings when you call them that and we don't want that." I say and take Rose's hands and she nods. "Okay."

I smile at her and let out a little breath of relief, I really don't need to teach her bad words.

"You know what happened today?" She asks me, her excitement back and she bounces up and down.

"No. What happened?" I ask, matching her energy. She has to take a few seconds to calm herself down to be able to properly speak.

"Aunty Lizzie asked me to be her flower girl!" Rose cheers and jumps up and down. My eyes grow big and I jump up.

"That's amazing! Congratulations, sweetheart!" I cheer with her and she grins widely.

"Yes, she will be a very special part of the wedding." Scarlett says proudly and I turn around to her, seeing she changed into some jeans and a black shirt with a pink lettering on it, saying: Bachelorette Babes.

I chuckle a little at the shirt and she walks a little further into the living room.

"Nice shirt." I compliment and giggle a little. Scarlett playfully rolls her eyes before looking at Rose.

"Lizzie even said she has a very nice dress for you, didn't she?" She asks Rose and the girl nods excitedly.

"She said that I if I want to, I have the honor to wear a dress that almost matches hers. It's just smaller and rose colored." She tells me and smiles proudly. I pick her up to give her a big hug, making her giggle a little.

"That is amazing, my little dolphin. I'm sure you're gonna look stunning." I tell her and she smiles widely, wrapping her legs around me.

"I will." She agrees and I kiss her cheek. Scarlett watches our interaction.

"Alright, as much as I'd like to stay, I have to get going now. You two have a great night and I'll be back later tonight. I'll see you tomorrow, Rosie." She says and gives Rose a kiss before giving me one and waving while leaving the room. Rose looks to me.

"What will we do tonight?" She asks and I bounce her a little, making her giggle again.

"I thought about watching a move and eating popcorn?" I offer and she claps happily, agreeing with my plan.

But since it's still a little early for that, we go to the kitchen and she helps me make a salad for dinner while I put some fries in the oven.

We decide on a movie and she cuddles into my side while I balance the bowl of popcorn in my lap.

Towards the end of the movie, I can tell that Rose is getting sleepy and after the movie, I take her upstairs and help her get ready for bed.

We snuggle together in her bed while I read to her until she drifts off to sleep. I kiss her forehead and tug her a little more in before turning the light off and leaving the room.

I clean up the living room and kitchen before going upstairs and putting on my pajamas.

It's not too late yet, so I grab my book and go downstairs to read in the living room, being able to look over the dark ocean from there.

At around 11:30 pm, I hear keys in the front door and put my book down knowingly.

Scarlett comes into the house and almost stumbles a little bit. Her eyes light up when she sees me.

"Heyy, babe." She says and opens her arms for a hug. I smile, get up and hug her.

"Hey, bug. How was the night?" I ask. She lets go of me and thinks a little before speaking.

"It was fun, we rented a limo and drove around the city to a club where we got into the VIP lounge. It wasn't so loud there and we played some drinking games. Did you know that Lizzie's sisters know her better than I do?" She asks almost offended and I smile softly.

"I didn't know that but they are her family after all, so it's not a huge surprise, right?" I say and Scarlett pouts and crosses her arms.

"But I wanted to know her best." She slurs the words a little and I take her hand, giving it a soft squeeze.

"I know, baby. And I am sure if there were different questions, you would have won." I assure her and she uncrosses her arms but continues to hold my hand.

"I would have." She agrees.

"Anyways, we all had some drinks and then we went to the dance floor and it was a lot of fun. I did dance with Lizzie and I think our boobs touched at some point but I'm not sure.

Maybe I also grinded against her a little but I am also not sure about that. But I don't love her.

I only love you and I would never cheat on you and Lizzie is about to get married in...some time... so there is nothing going on, I promise." She assures me and even though her eyes seem a little hazy from the alcohol, she is being honest. I kiss the back of her hand.

"I know, bug. You would never cheat on me and I am not mad that you danced with Lizzie, you are allowed to have fun. And in the end I am the one you're coming home to." I assure her and she smiles, leaning against me a little and resting her head against mine. I wrap my arm around her waist to give her some stability.

"Home...you really are my home, do you know that? This house didn't feel like home until you and Rose arrived here." She tells me and I feel my heart growing soft at her words.

She might be somewhere between tipsy and drunk but her words seem to come from her heart and that's all that matters.

"I didn't know that but I am honored to be. Also, I can only give that right back because you are my home too." I say and kiss her temple before slowly leading her up the stairs to the bedroom.

She hums in response and I sit her down onto the bed before closing the bedroom door.

"How about we get you ready for bed, hm?" I offer and she nods lazily.

I pull her up and bring her to the bathroom, where she brushes her teeth while I get her pajamas out.

She quickly does her night routine and splashing some water into her face seems to help sober up a little.
