《Are you for real?! (Naruto various x reader)》YIPPEE, PRELIMINARIES BEFORE THE THIRD EXAM!

For the time when Team seven was with Kabuto, (Y/n)'s body was on autopilot. Dodging, attacking etc. etc. when needed.
In terms of what (Y/n) was actually doing, she was discussing some stuff with herself in the "afterlife" place.
"Y'know, you never actually talked to. Hiruzen about you in the little bingo bongo book." (Name) stated.
"Oh shit, wait, you're right." (Y/n) said
"I say, that you should go visit the old man when you get that one month off for the final exams." (Name) recommended.
"I'm surprised that the Akatsuki isn't after my ass right now." (Y/n) commented.
"The Author is just making it easier for both you and themselves. That's why nobody's is really questioning or after you. And due to them not liking 'Irregular Mystery', they've changed it to just your name.' (Name) replied.
"Bro, how the hell do you know that?" (Y/n) asked.
"Something else is that people who've only seen you in the bingo book don't believe you're basically a god. Only the nin of Konoha are really aware of your abilities." (Name) took a sip of (f/b).
(Y/n) rolled her eyes, she then noticed her body began to fade away.
"Best of luck to Kabuto when he fights you." (Name) waved goodbye as (Y/n) deadpanned at herself.
"God, I kinda hate that dude." (Y/n) mumbled after waving goodbye at Kabuto.
Naruto opened the door and the team stepped inside.
"There's nobody here." Sakura stated.
"Scrolls." (Y/n) took out one of the scrolls they had.
"What?" Sasuke asked in confusion.
"We need to open both scrolls." (Y/n) sat on the ground with the Earth Scroll placed in front of her.
"Who has the Heaven Scroll?" (Y/n) tilted her head at her three teammates.
Both Sakura and Naruto turned their heads towards Sasuke. He said nothing as he removed himself from Sakura, who's had her arm around him to provide stability.
The Uchiha was standing beside (Y/n), waiting for her to open it first.
Meanwhile, Sakura took the time to silently read the text on the board in front of the team.
The pink haired girl noticed (Y/n) get up and slightly back away after opening the scroll.
"It's a summoning Jutsu." Sasuke stated, dropping the Heaven Scroll beside the earth one.
Smoke was emitting from the scroll, the. Iruka poofed into their presence.
*cue shocked gasp*
"Y-you?!" Sasuke said in shock.
"Hi. It's been a long time, huh?" Iruka stated before smirking.
"Ayy, Iruka Sensei." (Y/n) said, pointing two finger guns at her old teacher.
"W-What's going on?" Said a confused Sakura.
"It appears you guys have had a rough time of it." Iruka commented.
"What?! Why are you appearing with a summoning?" Naruto asked.
"At the end of the second exam, we Chūnin are to welcome the test-takers. I just happened to be given the important task of being the messenger for you guys."
"Messenger?" Sakura mumbled.
Iruka then pulled out a pocket watch.
"Just in time." The sensei said.
"Congratulations on surviving the second exam." Iruka had a smile on his face whilst he put the watch away.
"I'd like to treat you to some Ichiraku ramen, but-" The Chūnin was cut off by Naruto.
"Oh! Cool!" Naruto then ran up to Iruka to engulf him in a hug.

"H-Hey, Naruto-!"
"Cool! Cool! So cool!"
"Koolaid man."
"Listen to the end-"
"Ramen! Ramen! Believe it! I've done a great job! I'm the greatest! I want to eat ramen! Believe it!"
Sakura and Sasuke let out an exhausted sigh as they flopped down to sit.
(Y/n) sat down beside Sakura and started to rummage through her bag, not knowing what to take out.
"Hm, (insert candy/snack of choice) it is!" (Y/n) exclaimed, pulling out a (a/c) container she packed before the exams.
"He's got so much energy..." Sasuke grumbled out.
"Yaay!" Naruto exclaimed.
"Shut up!" Said an annoyed Sakura.
"Man, that scatterbrained part of you is the same as always, eh." Iruka stated.
"I see," Sasuke started.
"If we had looked at the scroll in the middle of the exam, what were you going to do, Iruka sensei?" Sasuke asked.
Iruka went to go pick up the opened scrolls.
"Sasuke, you're a sharp one as usual. You guessed right. The rules of this exam were to test your conclusive mission execution ability. To put it simply, in case the scrolls being opened contrary to the rules," Iruka paused.
"In the case of them being opened?" Sakura questioned.
"I was ordered to knock unconscious the test-takers in front of me until the end of the exam." Their old sensei added.
"Good thing you didn't open the scroll." Sasuke told Naruto.
"Kabuto, thank you!" Naruto nervously whisper-yelled.
"Phew!"
Sakura: 'That was seriously close'
"Oh yeah, sensei!" Sakura called out.
"By the way, what're the letters on that wall?" The pinkette questioned.
"They're kind of vermiculated and we don't understand their meaning at all." She said.
"Never mind, never mind! We passed!" Naruto energetically said.
"No, explaining that is one more of my duties."
"Wait, really?" Naruto asked.
And then (Y/n) tuned out of the conversation because the author is too lazy to write the rest of what Iruka says.
(𝚃𝚒𝚖𝚎 𝚜𝚔𝚒𝚙)
All of the test-takers we're in a room, sorted with their teammates in a line.
(Y/n): 'When the fuck did I get here-'
"First off, congratulations on finishing th second exam." Anko congratulated
Anko: 'There were 78 test-takers for the second exam. To think 22 have made it this far. But I really thought the number would be in the single digits'
"Now then, we will now have the explanation of the third exam from Lord Third. Listen carefully, everybody!" Anko announced.
"All right." Hiruzen said before stepping forward.
"First, before I tell you what the third exam entails, I want to explain something about the test itself. I have just one thing I want to tell everybody flat out. About the true purpose of the exams. Why do allied nations conduct the exams on a conjoint basis? Raising the level of the Shinobi and friendship among allied nations. It won't due to have the wrong idea of the true meaning of that statement. These exams are so to speak..." The Hokage paused and took out his pipe.
"A microcosm of battle between allied nations." Hiruzen added.
"What does that mean?" Tenten asked.
"If we look back in history, the allied nations of today were once neighboring nations that continued to live with eachother and battle for power. In order to avoid a futile crushing if each others' military strength, those nations mutually selrcted a place to battle. And that's how the Chūnin Exams originally began." Lord Third replied.

"Why do we have to do such a thing? We're not doing this to select Chūnins?!" Naruto questioned.
"There's no question that these exams are to select Shinobi worthy of becoming Chūnin. But on the other hand, these exams also provide a venue for Shinobi who carry their nation's pride on their backs to fight for their lives!" Hiruzen answered.
"Nation's pride?" Sakura muttered.
"Many feudal lords and those of prominence from many nations who request Shinobi for work are invited to this exam as guests. And also possibly to sneek Shinobi to work for them. This exam could determine the course of your ninja work from here on out. And more importantly, those rulers will watch your battles, and take note of the strengths of each ninja and each nation is developing. If the gap in national power becomes unbridgeable, the strong nations are inundated with job requests. The requests of nations deemed weak, on the other hand, decline. Therefore, we can exert pressure upon each neighboring nation. That is to say, just how much military strength our Village is developing and has."
「𝑠𝑘𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑢𝑒」[a lot of]
Sakura was about to raise her hand to tell them about (Y/n) and Sasuke's condition, but she was stopped by (Y/n) who placed a hand on her shoulder.
"It's fine, Sakura, don't say anything about it." (Y/n) quietly reassured.
"But you and Sasuke-"
"We'll be fine." (Y/n) interrupted the pinkette who let her hand down.
Sakura clenched her fist but lowered her hand back.
"Now then, we will begin the preliminaries. The preliminaries to come with ne one-to-one individual battles. In other words, actual battle format." Hayate paused.
"There are exactly 22 people left. Therefore, we will be having 11 battles. The winners will be able to advance to the third exam. There are no rules at all. You will fight until someone dies, collapses or admits defeat. And...please admit defeat right away if you don't want to die. However, in case I judge that a match is over. *cough* Err, I don't want to needlessly increase dead bodies, so I will intervene to stop the match or something of that effect. What holds the keys to your destinies is fate." He added, turning his head towards Anko who nodded in response.
(Y/n) slightly chuckled at his....interesting announcement.
"Open it." Anko comander through the microphone(?).
A purple panel in the wall started to open up.
"The names of two foes will randomly be selected and displayed on this electronic signboard." Hayate said as he turned back to the Genins.
"Now then, let's get right down to it and annouce the two names for the first battle." Hayate stated.
-Kabuto Yakushi vs. (Y/n)-
Kabuto: 'That little mystery...'
(Y/n): 'Yakussy-'
The (h/c) haired girl could feel people's gazes landing on her.
"Now then, the two displayed on the signboard, come forward." Hayate said.
Kabuto and (Y/n) simultaneously walked forward, only to stop a few feet away from Hayate and face towards eachother.
"For the first battle, Kabuto Yakushi and (Y/n) have been selected. No objections, right?" Hayate asked.
"Nope." Kabuto replied.
"No objections." (Y/n) stated, slightly wincing at the curse mark.
As for the audience who were going to observe this fight, they were curious. They haven't really seen (Y/n) engage in combat before. Team seven were also quite eager to see what will happen.
Now you may be thinking back to what happened at the bridge mission, but to her team, half of the mission was all a blur, and they seemed to ignore trying to remember it, but that's all thanks to (Y/n).
"Alright then, we will begin the first battle." Hayate paused to cough.
"Everyone other than these two in front of me, please move to the upper area." Hayate instructed.
Kakashi stopped behind (Y/n).
"If it's about the painful tattoo then I don't think you need to worry about me, go check up on our emo team member." (Y/n) told her sensei.
"If that curse mark gets out of control, it could endanger your life." Kakashi still warned.
(Y/n) let out a airy laugh.
"Just go back to the rest of team seven." (Y/n) said, making her sensei sigh and continue to walk.
"Now then, please begin." Hayate annouced, stepping back a bit.
"Hold on a moment." (Y/n) pulled out he wireless earphones and place them in her ears.
🎶Sawarasenei-🎶
(Y/n) loudly exclaimed.
Kabuto then rushed towards (Y/n), trying to engage in Taijutsu.
(Y/n) was skillfully dodging she was looking for a song to play.
"Aha!" (Y/n) selected a song, but her phone was knocked out of her hands. She paused and just stared at it, which gave Kabuto enough time to harshly kick her to the ground.
The (h/c) haired girl looked down, her hand twitch.
She started to click her tongue, and then teleported behind Kabuto.
Kabuto: 'How?!'
"If you've read my profile in the bingo book..." (Y/n) leaned closer behind Kabuto.
"Then you should know how." (Y/n) whispered before sending an anemo powered kick to his back.
(Y/n) did some random hand signs.
"Go, go baron bunny." (Y/n) smiled as a dancing bunny poofed beside Kabuto.
She teleported away from the blast radius and waited for it.
Kabuto looked at the bunny-like creature in comfusion.
It exploded, making Kabuto crash in to a wall.
With the smoke still present, a flash of purple could be seen within.
Once enough of the smoke was cleared, it revealed (Y/n) holding Ei's sword to Kabuto's neck, whilst he was held up on the wall with wooden restraints.
"Checkmate." (Y/n) stated.
The audience was absolutely speechless.
"K-Kabuto seems unable to continue. Therefore, the winner is (Y/n)." Hayate annouced.
(Y/n) lowered her sword.
"You good there, buddy? I probably shouldn't have added that many invisible explosives tags." (Y/n) pondered, undoing the wood restraints when the medics arrived.
The (h/c) haired girl picked up her phone and started walking up the stairs where some other Genins were. They just stared at her in shock.
The rookie nine just blinked at her in bewilderment.
"(Y/N)!!!! That was so cool!" Naruto exclaimed, running towards her.
"Are you sure you're really human?" Shikamaru asked.
"HA, I honestly don't know." (Y/n) said, being engulfed in a hug from Naruto.
The others were about to say something, but they were interrupted by Hayate.
"For the second match, please come down here if your name is displayed on the signboard." Hayate said.
