Dosu stared wide eyed at Sasuke.

"No matter how you look at it.... His chakras are too big!" Dosu said in disbelief.

"Dosu, this half-dead bastard is nothing to be scared of!" Zaku exclaimed, about to [stupidly] attack Sasuke.

"Wait, Zaku! Don't you understand?!" Dosu said, tryingto stop his teammate..

"I'll take care of all of them...in one fell swoop! Super Sonic Slicing Waves!" Zaku exclaimed.

(Y/n) sighed and quickly took Lee to a safer area that wasn't in the blast area.

Everyone [minus Sasuke, Dosu, Zaku and (Y/n)] either shielded their eyes or pressed their hands against their ears, due to Zaku's attack, who was seen panting once the dust/smoke cleared.

"Hah! He must have been blown to pieces." Zaku said, his words having hints of exhaustion in them.

Then, Sasuke appeared behind him, Naruto and Sakura were place not too far awag from the two.

"Who did?" Sasuke said, hitting the side of Zaku's neck, making him fling to where Dosu was.

"R.I.P Zaku, you will not really be that missed." (Y/n) said, jumping down beside Sasuke after dropping off Rock Lee with his teammates.

"He's fast....Moreover, he transported those two, and in the blink of an eye!" The bandaged man commented.

(Y/n) irked at Dosu's words.

"Bitch, I'm faster!" (Y/n) said in annoyance.

Sasuke swiftly did some hand signs, which caught the attention of Dosu and Zaku.

"Fire style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!" Sasuke exclaimed before actually doing the attack.

Well Zaku blew away the fire, what he didn't see coming was that there were shurikens hidden in the fireballs. After getting stabbed by them, Sasuke appeared behind the poor lad, pulled both of his arms, and roughly placed his foot on Zaku's back.

"It seems like your proud of your arms...you!" Sasuke said sadistically, pulling harder on Zaku's arms.

"S-Stop it!" Zaku stuttered out in pain.

A horrendous crack could be heard from Zaku before he flopped down when Sasuke let go of his arms and turned to Dosu.

"You're the only one left. You....make it a little more fun fir me." Sasuke said with a sadistic grin, as he began to pace towards Dosu.

(Y/n) clicked her tongue, and patted Sakura's head.

"Do what you need to do." (Y/n) said with a smile.

With that, Sakura got up and took (Y/n)'s hand whilst she ran at Sasuke- wait what

"As much as this hurts me, (Y/n).... I hope you know what to do!" Sakura told the girl.

(Y/n): 'Oh no, Bae :(!'

After Sakura let go of (Y/n), the (h/c) haired girl who sharply inhaled and stumbled behind Sasuke.

(Y/n) slowly, yet surely, hugged Sasuke from behind, making the onyx eyed lad stop.

Sasuke glanced at the shorter girl who embraced him, and the curse mark started withdrawing.

(Y/n): 'Ayyyy, I didn't have much faith in myself there, but it still worked- and plus, I'm only really doing this because of Sakura'

The Uchiha dropped down to his knees, panting, after reverting back, with (Y/n) still by his side.

"You're strong." Dosu started, revealing a Earth Scroll and presenting it to the two in front of him.

"Sasuke.....We can't defeat you the way you are now." He placed the scroll down.

"This is our fee for settling this...." Dosu said, walking towards Zaku and picking him up.

"It seems selfish, but we now have something new to confirm, too. That being said, let's make a promise." He picked up Kin.

"If there's another opportunity to battle with you in this test, we won't run or hide." The bandaged man stated, turning around and entering the woods.

"Okay! Take care!" (Y/n) exclaimed.

"Wait!" Sakura called out to Dosu's team.

Dosu stopped and looked back at Sakura.

"Who in the world is Orochimaru? What did he do to Sasuke and (Y/n)?! Why them?!" Sakura questioned [demanded].

"I don't know... We were simply just guven the orders to make a hit on those two." Dosu said replied, turning his head back and continued to walk away from them.

"The three legendary Sanin...." (Y/n) muttered to herself.

"What?" Sasuke asked.

"It's nothing." (Y/n) said, leaning her head against his shoulder.

"Hey! Are you guys okay?!" Choji asked.

Neji: 'Those chakras, they're abnormal...but something is especially off with that (Y/n) girl'

"(Y/n) is in danger...." Naruto said in his sleep.

Shikamaru and Choji's figures loomed over the blonde, who has really been unconscious for the entire fight.

"Well, what should we do with this guy? Kick him awake?" Shikamaru said.

"Can I do it?" Choji asked.

"Go ahead..." Shikamaru replied, putting his hands behind his head in a carefree manner.

Choji conveniently found a large stick and walked beside the unconscious Naruto. He raised the stick in his hand, it went down with a-

*Bonk*

"AHHHH, OW OW- Huh?" Naruto looked towards the direction where his teammates were.

(Y/n) lifted her head from the Uchiha's shoulder [who silently cursed at the lack of contact] and shifted her head to Naruto.

The (e/c) eyed girl got up and walked towards the blonde.

"Glad you're okay." (Y/n) playfully stated.

The Uzumaki suddenly remembered their encounter with Orochimaru.

"Hey! What happened to that weird snake lady?" Naruto asked.

"He's gone for now, we won't need to deal with 'em for a while." (Y/n) reassured.

(Y/n): 'But we will be seeing more of the damn roach in the furture'

Naruto sighed in relief but turned towards the two who were behind him.

"Oi! That kinda hurt y'know!" Naruto complained pointing at Choji.

"Well, it was the first idea we got to make you wake up!" Shikamaru explained in annoyance.

"And Sakura, we should probably get your hair 'fixed'. The cut wasn't exactly clean." (Y/n) told the Haruno, catching the pink haired girl's attention.

"Heh, you're right, (Y/n)." Sakura responded.

"WHAT?!" Naruto exclaimed in shock.

"W-When did-" Naruto was cut off by (Y/n).

"Quite a bit happened when you were unconscious." (Y/n) stated.

"I personally think short haired Sakura is cute." (Y/n) complimented, makung Sakura slightly flustered.

Then we had Ino not too far away, taking notes about (Y/n)'s comment.

"Tenten!" (Y/n) called out.

"Eh- uh, yeah?" She replied.

"How's Lee doing?" The (h/c) haired girl asked.

"Oh right." Tenten shifted her attention to the boy who was placed beside her.

"Keep it together! Lee!" Tenten exclaimed whilst picking up and shaking Rock Lee back and forth.

"Oh? Tenten, why are you here?" Lee asked, gaining his consciousness.

"I came to help." Tenten answered.

"Those guys, where are the Sound Village Ninjas?" Rock Lee questioned.

"A kid named Sasuke drove them away." Tenten replied.

"Really..?" Lee looked towards team seven.

"Why did you hastily decide to act on your own?! Beside, you really got beaten up!" Tenten exclaimed, ignoring what Lee had just said.

"(Y/n) was in danger....! So I..." Lee looked down in shame.

"Lee... Don't be ashamed, I really appreciate your efforts in trying to protect me." (Y/n) said with a closed eyed smile.

"(Y-(Y/n)!" Lee said with tearful eyes, but they were wiped away later on.

"Looks like my efforts weren't enough! Sasuke... Just like what you'd expect from the Uchiha clan. To chase off the Sound Village ninjas, just as I thought, he posseses amazing strength. I was beaten to a pulp..." Lee trailed off.

Sasuke: 'What?! He was beaten to a pulp?! What's he talking about? Were those guys really that strong?!'

"(Y/n)." Rock Lee called out.

"Que- I mean, What?" (Y/n) said.

"The Lotus of Leaf Village blooms twice. When we meet again, I will have become a stronger man." Lee said with a smile.

"Heh, I'm sure you'll be." (Y/n) replied.

"Sakura, sweetie." (Y/n) turned to he pink haired teammate, who lightly blushed at the nickname.

"I gotta fix your hair-" (Y/n) was cut off by Ino.

"Let me do it, (Y/n)." Ino insisted with a smile.

"*sigh* Alright." The (h/c) haired girl agreed.

Naruto peered over the small cliff next to the river.

"Special technique! Shadow Clone Jutsu, fishing edition!" The multiple Naruto clones exclaimed as they jumped in the water.

Due to Narutos going after the fishes, they were forced out of the water. Sasuke threw a few kunai knives and pinned three fishes to a tree.

Naruto popped out from the water panting.

"Thrash about some more! I want to catch some fish for curing! Three isn't going to be enough!" Sasuke said in a demanding tone.

The Uzumaki irked.

"Three more, you loser!" Sasuke urged.

"This is very taxing, y'know?! I mean, let's switch!" Naruto exclaimed, splashing water everywhere.

"Sasuke, be- or atleast try to be nicer to Naruto.... Though I doubt you can." (Y/n) commented, lightning the fire for Sakura.

"*tch* Whatever...." Sasuke mumbled, but (Y/n) managed to hear it.

"Oh, grow up!" (Y/n) snapped back.

"I should be saying that to you!" Sasuke argued.

"Oi, if you're talking about my height, I'm gonna-" (Y/n) was cut off by Sasuke.

"Gonna what?"

*silence*

"I'm gonna take a kunai and shove it right up your a-"

"O-Okay, I think we should start cooking the fish!" Sakura interrupted (Y/n).

"*sigh* Naruto, catch." (Y/n) called out before throwing a towel at her blonde friend.

"Thanks, (N/n)!" Naruto said with a warm smile.

"It's already been four days since the second exam started..." Sasuke commented.

"Yes, that's correct." Sakura said.

"Damn- what the fuck. Time?? Hello????" (Y/n) tilted her head down.

(Y/n): 'Next thing you know, the third exam is going to start'

The (h/c) haired girl spaced out of the conversation, then Sasuke left some time after.

Naruto had the earth scroll in hand and was about to open it. The two [Sakura and Naruto] stared at it with a mixture of nervousness and anticipation.

"..."

"Onikabuto."

"What?" Naruto and Sakura said in sync.

Suddenly, Kabuto was beside them, holding the scroll tightly, stopping Naruto from opening it.

"And that my friends is how you summon a spy- Kabuto." (Y/n) said, which made Kabuto send a quick glance at her.

Sasuke came around a rock and misunderstood the situation.

(𝚃𝚒𝚖𝚎 𝚜𝚔𝚒𝚙)

"Man, you're beyond saving..." Sasuke stated.

"That was close." Kabuto said.

"Mhm..." (Y/n) agreed.

"W-We're sorry...." Sakura trailed off.

" Welp, curiosity kills the the cat. In this case it would be 'knocks out'." (Y/n) recalled the part where another team opened a scroll.

「𝑠𝑘𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑢𝑒」

"God, I'm tired..." (Y/n) boredly stated.

"Eh?" Naruto stated in confusion.

"Can I just wait by the tower whilst you guys do your own thing..?" (Y/n) lazily asked.

"Plus, you guys will have Kabuto anyways." (Y/n) added.

"But (Y/n), wouldn't it be dangerous?!" Sakura exclaimed.

"Since when have I been in danger?" (Y/n) asked.

"The bridge mission, (Y/n)." Sasuke recalled.

"To be fair, that was a B-rank mission with a few people from the Bingo book. and that doesn't count here!" (Y/n) said.

"It is quite dangerous near the tower. There's all sorts of traps and threat in general there." Kabuto pushes his glasses up.

(Y/n): 'You just want information on us'

"Fine, if it's for my sAfeTy, I can't guarantee I'll be that useful though." (Y/n) stated.

"We need to get going. The smell of broiled fish in the fire smoke had reached a great distance. At this rate, we'll be marked by fierce animals- and enemies." Kabuto sternly said, walking towards the woods, the other three characters trailing behind.

"Yeah, yeah, let's just go." (Y/n) tiredly followed after the group.
