《Are you for real?! (Naruto various x reader)》No, Kabuto, no

Team seven arrived at room three hundred and one. Their sensei stood infront of the door.
"I see. Sakura, you're also here. Now you can formally register for the Chūnin exams." Kakashi spoke.
"What do you mean by that?" Sakura asked.
"actually, from the beginning, only three-man squads could take the exams. I did manage to pull some strings and allow (Y/n) to participate." Kakashi said.
"But if I didn't come, wouldn't that mean (Y/n), Naruto and Sasuke could do it together?" Sakura questioned.
"Not really. The Hokage only allowed it if all four of you came." Kakashi answered.
"Oh."
(Y/n): 'Speaking of Hokage. Author said I couldn't save him, and if I tried, he would die another way.'
"Alright! Let's go!" Naruto exclaimed.
Sasuke and Sakura held onto both handles of the door and opened it.
Naruto walked up to it, but stopped to look back at (Y/n) who hasn't moved from her spot.
"(Y/n), you coming?" Sakura looked at her friend with slight confusion.
"You three go on, I'm just gonna talk to Kakashi sensei real quick." (Y/n) waved the three off, and turned to the silver haired Jonin.
"So.." (Y/n) started.
Kakashi didn't say anything, as he waited patiently for (Y/n) to continue.
"Those three will be fine, I'll make sure they won't die. Can't promise anything else though." (Y/n) said before dashing away.
Kakashi felt uneasy though. It was the way (Y/n) said her last sentence. The words she spoke weren't much of a comforter, it felt like more of a warning. But for what?
The three stood there in shock, as all eyes went on them.
Seconds later, a certain (h/c) haired girl busted through the door.
(Y/n) looked around, confused looks were sent her way.
"Sasuke! (Y/n)! You're late~" Ino said, wrapping her arms around (Y/n)'s smaller figure.
"Hi Ino." (Y/n) said with a lazy grin.
「𝑠𝑘𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑢𝑒」
Shikamaru and Choji came closer to the group.

"Are you guys also taking this bothersome exam?" Shikamaru said.
"Ayyyee~ pineapple head." (Y/n) got out of Ino's grasp, which caused the blonde to pout.
"Oh hey, it's the idiot trio." Naruto stepped towards Shikamaru.
"Stop calling us that." The Nara complained.
Meanwhile, (Y/n) handed Choji a bag of Doritos and said nothing. He gladly accepted the bag and started to snack on it.
"My my, looks like everybody's here." Kiba's voice came up from the right.
"Dog." (Y/n) held her arms infront of Kiba.
Akamaru jumped down from his owner's head, into (Y/n)'s arms.
"(Y/n)~ aren't you gonna greet me?" Kiba saod with a smirk.
"Eh, not really." (Y/n) bluntly said.
Kiba sulked, so sad.
"Hinata~" (Y/n) put Akamaru back on Kiba's head, as she stepped towards Hinata.
"O-oh, Hi (Y/n)-chan." Hinata shyly said.
"Shino." (Y/n) just nodded at him, in which he did the same in response.
"You guys too? Man...." Shikamaru once again complained.
"This means all 10 Genin rookies are taking the exam... Now then, how far will we make it?" Kiba confidently said.
"Right, Sasuke?" Kiba smirked at thw Uchiha.
"Careful, don't get too cocky." Sasuke smirked back.
「𝑠𝑘𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑢𝑒」
"Hey, you guys." Kabuto. Just Kabuto.
"You should be a bit quieter. You guys are the 'rookie ten' fresh out of the academy, right?" Kabuto paused.
"I wouldn't go making a spectacle like that. This isnt a class field trip." He added.
"Who are you?! Acting all haughty!" Ino asked.
"I'm Kabuto Yakushi. Anyways, take a good look around you. You've made quite the impression." Kabuto said, causing the nine rookies to look around.
"Behind you. They're from the Rain Village. They're hot-tempered. Everybody's tense before the exam. I thought I'd warn you guys before getted your butts whipped..." Kabuto said.
"You can't help it though. You guys are rookies who don't know left from right. You reminde me of myself a little while back."

"It was Kabuto...right?" Sakura asked.
"Yes." He simply responded.
"This isn't the first time you're taking the exams then?" Sakura added.
"*sigh* It's my seventh.." Kabuto nervously said.
(Y/n) held in her laugh.
"They're held twice a year, therefore this is my fourth year." Kabuto said.
"Then that means you know a lot about the exams?" Sakura asked a bit surprised.
「𝑠𝑘𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑢𝑒」
"My Ninja Info Cards." Kabuto took out orange cards with black frames.
"What're those?" Sakura questioned.
"To put it simply, they're cards that have information burned into then and coded with chakra." Kabuto put the deck of cards on the ground.
"I've spent four years gathering information for this exam. There are close to two hundred of these cards." He took one card from the stack, and flipped it over.
"They are blank to the eye. To open the data on these cards...."
「𝑠𝑘𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑢𝑒」
"Of those cards, are there ones with detailed individual information?" Sasuke said coldly.
"Yes, there are. Are there ones you're concerned about?" Kabuto looked up at Sasuke.
"I might." Sasuke narrowed his eyes at the deck.
"The information about the applicants time around aren't perfect. But I've got something on just about everyone. Including you guys." Kabuto put back the previous card he used.
"About those 'ones you're concerned about', who you know."
"Gaara of the Sand Village. Rock Lee of the Leaf Village." Sasuke glanced at (Y/n).
"And (Y/n) of the Leaf Village." Sasuke added.
"I- nevermind, it makes sense now." (Y/n) remembered her first interactions with Sasuke.
"You even know their names, that makes it quick." Kabuto commented.
Kabuto picked up the deck, and swipped his hand over it, picking up three cards in the process.
"Here they are." Kabuto held the three cards in his hand and put the remaining cards on the floor.
"Show them to me." Sasuke demanded.
Naruto: 'I don't really get what's going one, but I'l pretend like I do'
"First up, Rock Lee."
Kabuto did his little chakra thingy with a card.
"He's one year older than you guys. His mission experience, twenty D-ranks and eleven C-ranks. His sensei is Guy. In just this year, his Taijutsu has drastically improved, but his other skills are pretty low. Last year, he attracted a lot of attention, but chose not to attend the Chūnin exam that year. This is his first time taking the exams, same as you guys. Tenten and Neji Hyuuga are on his team." Kabuto put a card over Rock Lee's info.
"Next is Gaara of the dessert."
"Mission experience, eight C-ranks and- Wow, one B-rank as a Genin. He's a Shinobi from a different land and is a rookie, so there is no further detailed information. It seems he has returned from all his missions uninjured."
"B-rank as a Genin? But uninjured...?!" Shikamaru commented.
Team seven looked over to (Y/n) who wore a bored look on her face.
"And finally we have (Y/n) of the Leaf Village." Kabuto said.
"Yes, Hi, I am here." (Y/n) stepped closer to Kabuto.
"Mission experience, six D-ranks and- Another B-rank?!" Kabuto looked at (Name) who was smirking and everyone looked at team seven, specifically (Y/n).
Kabuto recomposed himself.
"*Ahem* moving on. It says here that-" Kabuto stopped as he picked up the card too examine it closer.
Kabuto: 'Irregular Mystery-'
"You're that kid from the bingo book....." Kabuto whispered only for (Y/n) to hear.
"Does the card show anything about her past?" Sasuke asked.
"No, only that one day she randomly appeared at the front gates of Konoha." Kabuto replied.
(Y/n) patted Sasuke's shoulder.
"You'll find out more about me one day."
Sasuke: 'I just hope that day comes sooner...'
