"I swear to god if you say that pathetic girls name one more time I'm gonna jerk a knot so far up your ass you can taste it." Hammerhead seethed as she sat close to Paul only because Jane had been there prior. "She is your cousin how can you- you know what I forgot I was about to try talking to someone similar to a wall." Jacob spat as Hammerhead punched the table harshly and stood up looming over it. "If your gonna sit here and try and tell me I'm stubborn take a look in the mirror you filthy pig. Or better yet we could go and take this outside so I can give you something to be sad about." She snapped as Emily merely served muffins used to Hammerheads constant anger.

"Okay. Then let's go outside then." Jacob stood up also trying to call her bluff, she constantly told him she'd knock him out and he constantly would scoff in her face. Maybe today he wanted to end her empty threats... if they were empty. "Alright let's go." Hammerhead said pumped up and running outside excited as Paul tan after her worried. Jacob soon came stalking outside staring her down, he didn't even want to shift he just wanted to teach Jane or whoever a lesson. The two stood face to face as Paul soon stood in between them with his back to hammerhead who grabbed. "Your Janes boyfriend not mine so back the fuck up and let me teach this mutt some commands." She said sickly sweet as she referred to him as a dog. He growled lowly at this but just stood with his arms crossed, Paul wouldn't move so Hammerhead moved him.

It took one slight push and Paul was off to the side surprising Jacob that she actually was able to move a wolf like that. But he was cocky- he was supposed to be the alpha of the pack after all. Hammerhead charged at him as he stood there trying his hardest to keep his feet planted. But hammerhead didn't simply push him, she punched him in the stomach and sent him flying further then she had pushed Pail. He landed with a loud oof noise as Hammerhead smirked as all the boys laughed. "That's right lay down boy." She locked with a cruel laugh before sauntering inside as Jacob slowly stood up with a groan.

If matters couldn't be worse Paul came up to him as he was trying to get up and kicked him over before running inside after Hammerhead. Jane was back now and simply eating a muffin confused why Jacob was glaring at her as he came in. She came to back in her usual chair and couldn't really recall anything in between when hammerhead came forward. In fact she assumed he was just pissy hammerhead said something about pale face Bella.

Jane never forgave Jacob because simply.... He didn't even say a simple sorry to her. At least Paul had the guts to say it although Jane realizes now maybe the imprint bond is the cause of that. Jacob cared more for her cousin then her, anybody could see it. Besides the girl had a literal death wish as she wanted to be changed. That's why Jacobs moping now, because Bella admitted she was changing after graduation. "Damn hammerhead kicked your ass." Jared laughed as he came in making Jane go wide eyed before snickering to herself. Jacob gave her a dirty look as Paul simply smirked before putting an arm around the back of her chair. He was very careful with his touches sometimes it seemed he was even too cautious. Not that Jane minded she found it endearing when his arm would brush hers and he'd look to her to make sure it was okay.

In fact Jane was the one initiating a lot of their physical contacts and she liked it like that. Here and there she's suppress the others when he lightly hold her hand. He sometimes would lean in close and whisper how he loved her randomly. She always kissed him and even then it was a quick brief thing Never a make out or anything too much for her. But- she actually found herself yearning for more, so she decided maybe she was ready for a more intense kiss. And as she watched Paul pick at Jacob with that smirk she loved so much she felt her face getting flustered as she thought of something and looked down at her clenched hands.

She sat like that for a bit pondering if she really wanted to do that or not. Jane felt him staring at her and looked up as he looked concerned. "Are you okay?" He asked making her feel even warmer. "Yeah- um- I just... I feel a little sick is all. Could you take me home?" She asked and he eagerly nodded as now he was concerned for her well being. He said quick goodbyes to the group and led her out to his truck in a bit of a panic. In all his time knowing her he had never seen her sick. "Are you hurting or anything? Should I take you to a hospital?" He asked in a rush as she blushed and sank lower into her seat. "No...." She trailed off awkwardly as he now looked even more worried at her lack of response.

"I'm not actually sick!" She blurted out making him slow down since he was going a little too fast over the speed limit. But now he just looked confused. "Well- then why did you-" he trailed off not getting it whatsoever as she looked at him waiting for his reaction. "I uh- just wanted some alone time with you. At my house." She admitted as he looked at the road before tightening his grip on the wheel a bit. He didn't look mad in fact he looked... maybe scared maybe he looked excited she couldn't tell.

"Um when you say alone time what exactly do you mean?" He asked trying to understand what she really meant and she felt her self blush more only making him look more uneasy. "I just- I want to kiss you. No sex. I'm not ready for that." She mumbled the last part and he seemed relieved but looked at her funny. "Why were you so scared to ask me for a kiss in front of the guys? We've kissed before." He said with a slight chuckle as she smiled to herself before being rather blunt about it. "Yeah well I thought they would appreciate if we didn't start making out in front of them." She sassed as he tensed but looked to her with a small smile.

Jane was happy to see her uncle wasn't home yet, he was going to be late at the office again as Riley Biers went missing. It seems more like a cold case but- he swore he wouldn't give up for Riley's parents sake. Bella wasn't home either which made Jane relived that she wouldn't snitch like a brat. Even though Jane didn't snitch when it came to her precious Edweirdo the fuming disco ball. She led Paul in who smiled the house before growling lowly to himself he obviously smelled Edward. "Believe me I know. I hate that he's here too." She muttered as Paul seemed to shake a bit. He hated the fact Edward came every night and was making his imprint so uncomfortable.

She led him up the stairs where he followed timidly before walking into her room. He saw glimpses of it here and there through her window when it was actually open. He felt his eyes looking around in excitement taking everything in. It wasn't much in fact it seemed to lack any personal belongings. One thing he saw a lot of was paintings, one of them showing the wolves fighting an entire group of vampires. Hell he even saw one where the wolves were standing toe to against the Cullens. She was a good artist or... someone in her head was.

Jane leaned on her wall farthest from the bed as he walked around looking at her room. "Sorry it's not much. I don't really- own much." She explained as he nodded taking it in. "It suits you. This color." He says as he walks over to her bed, he just wanted to bury his face in her pillows and lay there surrounded by her scent. But he contained himself before sitting at the edge of her bed and then looking at her. She stayed leaned against the wall before slowly peeling herself off it and walking towards him. She timidly sat at the edge of the bed taking a deep breathe as he watched her closely. "If your not ready for anything? That's completely okay Jane. I don't want you to do anything you don't want to or your not ready for." He said as she nodded slowly.

"But I think I am ready.... I just want to make sure that- it's okay." She said as if debating with herself and she kind of was. Jane faced her body to Paul who was also tense and basically waiting for her to make the first move. Slowly she leaned in with her arms going to around his neck. Her lips brushed his at first before she firmly placed her lips to his. She started it off like any of their kisses. Slowly she deepens it a bit making him loosen up a bit as his hands went to her waist slowly in case she pushed him away. But did the opposite pulling him in a bit closer.

One of her hands played with the hair at the nape of his neck before he shyly licked her bottom lip a bit. Jane slowly opened her mouth allowing his tongue to fight against hers. It started off slow and light before progressing more into aggressive. Jane pulled herself as close as physically possible to him almost sitting on his lap as he put one of his hands on the side of her face gently. He even gently nipped at her bottom lip making her let out a soft noise that seemed to surprise the both of them as they froze. "I'm sorry-." He began to say when she just pulled him in for another bruising kiss that he gladly reciprocated.

Jane slowly pushed him over before climbing on him and kissing him more. Honestly she used to judge people 'getting lost in kisses', but she felt like she was getting lost in Paul's. She sat on top of him kissing him deeply still as his hands stayed glued to her waist and cheek scared to move. She had one hand in his hair as the other laid on his chest which was clothed. The pack had been wearing clothes when she was around which she greatly appreciated. Although she now knew they saw everything that had happened while Paul was in her head. Both their tongue fighting for dominance as Jane grabbed Paul's wrist and slowly lowered it down to her butt.

Yes Paul had done this with countless girl but- this was his soulmate..... this was Jane. So he only wanted to do what she was comfortable with. He was really restraining himself and his inner wolf from pushing her any farther then she wanted to go. So he left his hand there but didn't squeeze or rub he simply held it lightly. Both were panting when they finally pulled apart from one another looking the other in the eyes. "Sorry if I like- jumped your bones." Jane laughed as Paul looked dazed shaking his head and waving it off. "Nah it's okay.... I like it." He smirked gently pecking her on the lips.

"Let's just- cuddle if that's okay?" She asked as he nodded and laid back on the bed. Jane did it at a slower pace curling up next to him and taking deep breathes. He simply laid there until she lost the stiffness and seemed to be more comfortable with his presence. "I love you." Paul said making Jane smile softly as the others inside her head were being repressed by what she now knew was Kay. "I love you too Paul." She said as he began to gently run his finger through her hair. "I think- I'll be ready to have sex with you someday.... Just not today." She says as he stops stroking her hair before continuing. "I'll be honest we did more today then I thought we'd do in a while. I'm completely fine going ag whatever pace you want Jane. As long as I'm in your life? I'll be happy." He admitted making her smile sadly.

"I just wish I had the normal life sometimes you know? But- if I did there's a chance I wouldn't be here, with you." She says making him think about it before also smiling sadly. "I think we would have met anyway. Somehow. We're meant to be." He confidently says as Jane cuddles into his warmth a bit more. "Do you really think so? Or is that like your ancestors wanting you to be with me?" She asks seriously as he looks at her with furrowed eyebrows. "We would've been together whether I was a wolf and imprinted or not. We are soul mates. My ancestors just help me see it sooner." He explains as she smiled happily.

"Bella's home. She brought her leach." Paul he practically spits with hatred as he sighs and begins shaking a little under Jane who also sighs. "I'm sorry. If you want to leave..." Jane trailed off but Paul shook his head he liked it there better then at his own house with alcoholic father. "I gotta protect whats mine." He says almost as if directing it at Edward directly. A knock sounds on the door making Jane groan having an idea who it was already she swings the door open to see Bella and Edward. Edwards nose is scrunched as Bella looks past Jane and at Paul disgusted. "I just.... Wanted to meet your mate Jane." Edward says sounding not enthused at all as Paul stares daggers at him.

"Paul, Edward. Edward, Paul." She mumbled as Paul walks over seeming to size up Edward. He really didn't see anything to impressive as he stood beside a Jane doing a nod. No way in hell he would shake the leaches hand. "Charlie's around the corner... just thought you should know." Edward says before looking at Paul with a bit of disgust. Both girls took their boyfriends down stairs and cooked dinner. More so Bella as Jane sat on the couch watching the wrestling match with Paul with excitement as Edweirdo sat there looking displeased.

Charlie soon walked taking in everything before going to Paul who stood timidly going for a hand shake. "Hi sheriff Swan. I'm Paul Lahote... Janes boyfriend." He says making Charlie look at her with surprise before shaking his hand a little harder then necessary. "Nice to meet you Paul. You like sports?" Charlie asks as Paul smiles and nods enthusiastically. Of course they bond over the football game that's on as Jane watched with a Siri giving Edward looks of, 'he likes him... not you.' Bella even tried to get Edward to talk to her dad about anything but Charlie and him couldn't seem to hold much conversation like he could with Paul.

"Guess he's more of a dog person." Jane snickered walking path a pouting Bella who gave her a stern look. "You should come to Bella and Janes graduation next week." Charlie said as Paul smiled and leaned back giving Jane the look of, 'why didn't you tell me'. She shrugged before telling everyone in the room how stupid it was. Charlie was used to it and so was everyone else at this point so they just let her rant on how dum some stupid paper was. "Besides I hardly learned anything it's all gibberish." Jane admitted as well as she sat by Paul's side. "It's good for a future." Edward corrected as she gave him a dirty look.

"You would say that. Fucking disco ball..." she muttered the last part lowly making Paul nearly choke on the water Charlie offered him. Edward even smiled at it as Bella gave her cousin a dirty look. And Charlie didn't hear it as he grabbed himself another beer patting Paul on the shoulder. He was giving a 'secret' thumbs up from behind the boy to Jane letting her know he approved. Jane laughed before sticking a teasing tongue out at Edward and Bella and snickering.

"Actually my family would like to hold a graduation party for everyone the night of graduation." Edward announced making Jane give him a look like he was insane. "Of course Jane you and your... friend are invited." Edward said making Paul growl a bit lowly in warning. "You too Charlie. My family just figured it'd make everything easier." He says making Charlie gruffly agree a bit upset his two girls would be partying without him, he was more a quiet night in type of guy. He hated parties but he also knew his girls did too. "I think I'll pass." Jane scoffed disgusted making Paul proudly smirk and Charlie to sigh with relief.

Jane wasn't too surprised when Bella agreed to go, of course she would as Edward and his family basically had her stuck in their asses since they got back. Charlie seemed bummed but he was happy to at least spend it with one of his girls.

(*a little filler before the vampires go into the swan residence. Also hope you guys are enjoying the book. Also Jane is starting to get comfortable with Paul which means she's easing into the physical stuff with him so- might not be until breaking dawn when they do anything like that or breaking dawn part 2)
